The ambiance is that of a coffee house but this coffee house is an old historic building with natural wood floors and big windows. The layout is convenient for having a mix of seating and the volume was such that we could hear our party but not feel like we were screaming. The coffee was good. the people friendly, the snacks (ok not a meal but too much to ignore from the experience) the snacks were delightful. My wife almost ate half of my Pop-tart it was so good. Ok, this one gets a definite try, the locals seemed to like it, it was close-ish to Columbia, and worth checking out.

It was late morning so a lot of the baked goods were low. I chose after minutes of wanting what I wanted to decide on trying the chocolate berry bread pudding. I got a small iced PSL w/oatmilk and light ice. There was a very steady flow of customers. The warmed up bread pudding came out within reason but my psl to an unusual time to get to me. I honestly believe they skipped over my ticket as folks coming well after me receives their orders and left. A few minutes of house cleaning (wiping tables) was needed. Ive never been in here feeling like it was trashy and cluted but today it felt a little as such. I was satisified with my PSL and bread pudding. I left with goodness but wish I could have had my wrap.

Unfortunately, the atmosphere, food, and counter service didn't fully match the setting. Right when you walk in, the large menu is on the wall to the right. I had my daughter with me, the sun had just been in my eyes, and I missed it. When I asked whether they had a menu, the worker behind the counter just looked at me instead of pointing it out. I eventually noticed a paper menu, but it didn't seem to include the coffee drinks. There may have been another menu for specialty drinks, but getting basic guidance felt harder than it needed to be. I ordered a cortado and the house sandwich. The sandwich needed more cheese and more flavor. Hot sauce probably would have helped, but the sandwich should not depend on me fixing it. The cortado was easily the star of the visit. It was served with a small glass of mineral water, which was a classy touch, and the coffee itself was very good. Overall, this was a 3-out-of-5 experience for me. Great location, good-looking shop, excellent cortado, forgettable sandwich, and counter service that felt either checked out or purposely unhelpful. The first thing that jumped out at me when I walked in was how reasonable the prices are. I ordered an iced coffee and paid less than $3 which I loved! There are lots of fun drink options ranging from smoothies, your typical coffee drinks, and frozen coffee drinks. I saw some other customers order food and I'll have to try that next because it looked nice and fresh. The baristas were so friendly too. There are two floors to the cafe. The second floor seemed to be the "work" floor when I was there. There were plenty of people doing work on their laptops and hanging out. I can see myself coming here to work a lot in the future :)

I highly recommend the breakfast sandwich, I've gotten it over 5 times now and it's consistently so good! My favorite drink so far is the banana bread latte. They also have seasonal drinks and specials (last month they had a dot cake latte). They even have whipped cream cups for dogs. Love this place and will continue to support!

The limited seating might have deterred several members from joining but BC&T employees were extremely accommodating and found extra chairs for us to have enough room for about ten of us to gather and enjoy coffee, tea and bagels. We met Sharon who came over and greeted our group and even offered a tour later in the spring. How delightful! BC&T has a full display of wonderful local fare and gifts for purchase. An incredible assortment of teas are available, too. Great place to buy gifts and enjoy some tasty food and beverages - SHOP LOCAL!! Cool vibe and positive staff.

I ended up ordering the chicken salad sandwich with cranberries and walnuts on sourdough toast. Even though I don't like walnuts, this was still a really good chicken salad sandwich. The counter service was fantastic. Very friendly workers who accommodated my request to put 6 muffins in boxes so I could share outside with the group. If you can't add one egg to one piece of toast, you're not cooking, you're unwrapping and putting it on a panini press or grill.
