I wasn't sure what to expect but it was so fun, that I attended a second time in the same month. The event is held in their greenhouse, which makes the perfect backdrop for this event. You play three rounds of bingo with three cards each round, and each game has one plant prize, so one winner. There's a Plant Bar serving cocktails and popcorn, plus a coffee shop on site with small bites available during the event. Jessica, the events coordinator, is friendly and fun. After all games are played you have time to shop. I went during January and there wasn't an abundance of plants and flowers, but I'm looking forward to spring to check out the greenhouse when it is blooming.

A few years ago, I purchased over 20 gallons of Ultra Spec paint from this location only to discover that it started peeling in less than 5 years. I shared this information with the store manager and he told me this paint should never be recommended for painting steel pipe. I was then given a contact name and number for a Benjamin Moore representative who could tell me why the coats of paint failed. But again, after numerous phone calls and messages, no one returned my calls. In fact, when I was in the store today another customer overheard my complaint and agreed that this representative was worthless. Mo is where we purchased the mower. I contacted Kobalt and received a Return Authorization and was advised to take it back to Lowe's with this Auth #. We took it back to the K.C. Lowe's (along with the Auth#K) because the battery got stuck in the mower, they advised us that we had to contact Kobalt to get our refund. Lowe's said they couldn't reach Kobalt re: our Auth #. Took mower back home. Called Kobalt back-they suggested we try another Lowe's, stating Lowe's should refund our money so we went to the one on Valley View Pkwy. Beth and Derrick were so gracious and were able to figure out how to refund our money, since all Kobalt battery mowers have been recalled. It took them awhile to figure out how to get this done but they did. They were absolutely awesome. Best customer service we have had in years!! So, if you live in the K.C. or Independence area, you'll be much happier if you shop the store on Valley View Pkwy!!
