I had such a pleasant experience at Scrubs Etc today! I came in to purchase some scrubs for my husband who is a medical student and was overwhelmed with the many options they have. Russell, the store owner, was so helpful and jumped right up to help me pick two pairs of scrubs for my husband. The variety at the store was great with brands like Infinity, Grey's Anatomy, and Dickies. The pricing was average with tops and pants ranging around $30-$40 each. Based on Russell's recommendation, I got two of the popular brands (Infinity and Grey's Anatomy) so that they would be a little more wrinkle resistant. If I should need any more scrubs in the future I will certainly be back. There is something to be said about great customer service and Scrubs Etc knows how to set the example! read more

UPDATE: now the owners are removing my ratings from all platforms. I still have not received any messages back from the owners nor received a text message about my purchase being complete. The phones are still not being answered and the voicemail is still full. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. I used to buy scrubs from their Naperville location and loved the store. I bought a white coat for embroidery almost 1 month ago. I was told I would receive a text message when my order was complete however, there has been no word. I purchased some scrubs from this store and ordered some additional scrubs . They gave me the impression that this would be a back order. So I was patience. When I didn't hear from them I called and their was a message about staff contracting Covid. I assumed it was a more serious case and I again was patient. I left a message and gave them a little more time. Now I still have not received any updates and from reading some of the other complaints, it looks like I won't receive my order. They took time placing my order. If they placed my order from their supplier and I paid for it, I should have my order. I wonder if the order was even placed or if they were going through the motions. If you pay for a service and someone takes your money and doesn't provide that service that's stealing to me. read more

Placed an order for scrubs the 1st week in January after that they put sign up saying they were closed due to Covid. All calls were going to a cell phone in which the mailbox stayed full. I drove by the store, and there was no sign saying they were closed for business. I was told that they shut down, and recently reopened today with a new owner. No one called me to tell me anything after taking my money, and then they tell me to disputed with bank to get a refund. This place is a scam! I went into the store looking for scrubs. I could not have been greeted by nicer people that work there! They immediately asked how they can help me. They gave me great info and told me to take my time and and if I had any more questions to just ask. I looked for awhile, picked out some scrubs and then went to try them on. I found some that fit great. They told me that if I needed anymore that they could order whatever I needed. They thanked me for coming in and told me they appreciate my business. I needed to get some scrubs for school. This was one of the two places that my school would only let us purchase from so I hopped into my car and took a ride. Scrubs Etc is located in the corner of the plaza right next to Outback Steakhouse. They have such a huge selection for both men and women in varies of both size, color, and type. I was little lost figuring out what scrubs I needed but an employee name Russell kindly helped me. He was familiar with my University and knew exactly what I need. I am baffled at their service. My nursing program sources their embroidered scrubs from this store. Many of us ordered scrubs through them, and come to find that the store has permanently closed down. You would think that they would have a warning/notice for people who paid for their products (No, not a google "permanently closed" flag on their address. I mean like a text/email/phone call)? A huge chunk of us are without scrubs, and had to get $$ back through credit card/debit card vendors. Horrible. I hope management reassesses and does better before reopening. read more

This company is a fraud. I ordered scrubs back in December 2021 and the owner stole my money claiming that he would order the scrubs I need and then he never fulfilled my order. Come January 2022 they stopped taking phone calls, locked their store front doors so that no customer could come in and confront them. Started claiming to have Covid but promptly went out of business the same day as claiming to have Covid and filed for bankruptcy. Now I heard that these crooks stopped placing orders for people back in November 2021 but continued to steal all their customers money. Shame on this company and the people who owned it. I ordered scrubs Dec 8th and was told I'd get a text when they were ready, well I called 3 weeks later because I haven't received a text, they said they were having issues with FedEx, so let's move forward to today 2 months later and I have been unable to reach them! Scrubs Etc has moved to a new (huge) location in Villa Park and everyone is so much happier for it! The staff is super pleasant, the selection is even better than it was before, the fitting rooms are spacious and there are frequent sales & specials that make the prices almost impossible to beat, especially given the quality brands (Cherokee, Grey's Anatomy, Dickie's, Wink, etc...) that they tend to carry. They are able to cater to almost any size - from petite to plus size and everything in between and can even special order if they don't have a particular color or size in stock. I have always, from day one, recommended this place to every medical professional I know but now that they have a bigger, brighter location with better parking and hours, I feel even more confident in recommending them to anyone looking for quality scrubs and medical accessories. They carry a fine selection of stethoscopes (including Littman), lanyards, badge protectors, shoes, pens and medical scissors plus more items that I'm blanking on at the moment. One last tip - if you like them on Facebook or sign up for the mailing list in store, you will get automatically updated on when a sale is happening as well as any giveaways they may be offering. read more

I visited the old location a few times, but I haven't needed anything new for a while so finally just made it to the new location. I needed new shoes, and I'd only ever bought scrubs from the store before, so wasn't even sure what kind of selection they had. My friend needed a new pair as well and she really wanted to try the Geneva area, so we tried a variety of places without any luck. Coincidentally shortly after I got home, I received an email coupon from Scrubs Etc. After seeing the very limited selection of shoes at the first scrub store we tried (in St. Charles), I wasn't too optimistic, but definitely wanted to at least try. I felt like there was a decent variety of prices and styles to choose from. I'm sure I'm missing some, but I remember they had various styles in Anywear, Dansko, Klogs, and Akesso. (Alegria's seemingly outdated retail locator says they have merchandise at the old Lombard location, but didn't see any Alegria on hand.) The owner was very knowledgeable about the fit and shape of shoes, and very helpful. The Klogs worked great for my feet. The new location is really nice and roomy. I already thought they had a nice selection, but definitely lots more goodies now. I've always thought the people working there were super nice and friendly, and this time was no exception. So I came here because COD told me they give students 25% off. They were sold out of nearly any size I needed which made sense because it was about a month before school started. The lady was kind enough to place an order for the items I needed but she literally told me there is no where else to buy scrubs in the area. Now I realize that I could have gone to Sears, Walmart, or even COD bookstore. Just thought it was kind of crappy to lie to a student who's trying to save money. The customer service was less than mediocre. The owner of the establishment had poor social skills which was demonstrate by the lack of respect that she treated her employees with. After a minor mistake committed by an employee the manager went into a rampage fit yelling and insulting her employee without any consent of her surroundings or my 7 yr old child. Upon entering the store the atmosphere was frigid with no greeting or friendly smile. This Scrubs Etc is my savior. Let me tell you why... I just started a new job in a big hospital near me. The thing is, my supervisor did not tell me what color of scrubs to wear for the orientation until the day was over and my orientation on the floor is the next day. Panicking, I searched for a scrub shop near me and I found this location on Yelp. The next day, bright and early, I waited for the shop to open (I had to be at work within the next hour.) I don't know if he was the owner, but he opened the shop on time. As I went inside, I was in awe. They had a wide selection of scrubs and the shop is big, very neat, and smelled really clean. Also as I looked around they also had sthetoscopes, scissors, shoes... you get the idea. Anyway he was very helpful and showed me where to find the scrubs I needed. I fitted the scrubs and paid for them (I think the shop has three fitting rooms.) I did tell him that I only need a pair bagged since I need to wear the other pair. Frankly, I think he sensed that it was my first time wearing scrubs fresh from the shop to work so he said in a comforting voice to not worry about it because I am not the first nurse who walked out of the shop wearing unwashed scrubs. This made me really happy. I also received discount for being employed to my current hospital which was very nice. I will definitely come back to this location when I need more scrubs or if I haven't washed any. read more

Amazing store and staff. I came here with my daughter for her scrubs and shoes. And from the time we got there to the time we left nothing but positive and amazing customer service. The store is extremely organized by brand and size. And a large variety for every shape and size and color and brand which is nice it makes it so easy to shop. The fitting rooms are spacious and kept clean. And there's several of them so you don't wait long if there busy. The staff are always friendly and outgoing and ready to assist you with anything you need. And most importantly there prices are amazing and if there is a discount or anyway they can help you save money they go out of there way to do so. Which is very much appreciated. My daughter called because she forgot to get her school embroidered on her scrubs and the girl on the phone told her that the way it was wrung up was not right if she used a different discount that she could've saved 7 more dollars. But since the embroidery was 7 dollars it was even. but the fact that she went out of her way to let us know was very appreciated and valued and lets me know i made the correct choice by shopping here. The only place we will buy our medical uniforms in the future. I will HAPPILY patronize this store. They have a amazing staff who work hard to make your situation is smooth and easy. Thank you. This place has the worst customer service. I called to check the status of an order I placed, they never answered the phone. I left a message and no one got back to me so I tried calling again. And still no answer, I just kept calling until they answered to which the girl told me "I have a line of customers and I can't have the phone ringing". Well then answer the phone! Horrible customer service. I was there with my 1 year old daughter trying on scrubs. I left the scrubs in the fitting room bc thats what the Sign in the fitting room says to do! When I walked out I was left literally in the dark!! They purposely shut off all the lights while I was in the store with my daughter looking around!!!! They didnt make an announcement to state they would be closing in 10 mins, 5min, etc. The worst part of it was the adult that was managing the place didnt even apologize when i said " that was very rude of you and you could've politely said you would be closing when I walked in 15 mins ago" their website says 8pm and the door says 7pm...idiots!! Ryan answered and was very helpful, saying they did. Angie was one of the best salespeople I've encountered. Very knowledgeable about her merchandise, right down to how each brand and style fits each customer's body type. She helped me find the most flattering and comfortable styles for me. She provided many options to choose from and even described the ease of laundry care for them. She offered to order items that weren't readily in stock in my size or in the color I needed, and is shipping them to my home.
