He was extremely knowledgeable, displayed a high level of expertise with confidence, not arrogance. I really appreciated that. I came in with a problem and was immediately provided and explained options, quoted a more than fair rate and didn't feel haggled or hassled on cheesy up sale techniques. Because of his likability and competency, I took his advice and added a fresh wax. In closing, it's a rarity these days to get high quality service, from people that take pride in their job. Dominick is cut from a different cloth. I had a very frustrating experience with Sportsman's Warehouse in Rohnert Park…read more I placed an online order that showed an estimated delivery date of June 11, 2026. The next day, I checked the website and saw the exact item was available in store. I called the Rohnert Park location and asked if they could simply switch my online order to the inventory they had in store so I could start my 10 day waiting period sooner without having to cancel and reorder. I was told that would not be a problem and that I could come into the store and begin the paperwork. After driving to the store and waiting about 45 minutes, I was told something completely different. They said I would have to cancel my online order and place a brand new order for the one they had in stock. That was not what I was told on the phone. I declined because my original online order included a $120 Sezzle promotion that reduced my total cost. Canceling and reordering would have meant losing that discount. I left the store disappointed and decided I would just wait for my original order to arrive. What really made this situation unacceptable was what happened afterward. The same day, someone from the store contacted customer service regarding my order. Then today, I received confirmation that my online order had been canceled even though I never authorized anyone to cancel it. WTF? Why would anyone cancel a customer's order without their permission, especially when they did not even process the in store purchase I originally came in for? I specifically chose to keep my online order because I did not want to lose the $120 promotion. I wasted time driving to the store, waited nearly an hour, was given conflicting information, and now my order has been canceled without my consent. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and reflects a serious lack of communication and customer service.

It's a very small town with minimal stores, but you tend to be able to find most things you need. Whatever can't be found at the 2 grocery stores can probably be found here. It's a small family shop with pretty much anything you'd need for some outdoor activities. Of course Gualala prices are more expensive than most other cities, but it makes sense since it's a small coastal town. It's better to pack whatever you want to do, but this spot is always a good backup for the things you might have forgotten. They also have a lot of souvenirs which I'm sure make up a lot of the business. They've always had anything from hoodies or shirts, all the way to shot glasses and keychains. If you want a souvenir, or anything sport related, this is the spot you'd go. Service that I've experienced has been friendly and welcoming.

I have called many times and left messages as well as stopping by the shop when their hours board says they should be open. I haven't been able to get in touch with anybody and cannot get my tank back. Hopefully this gets resolved soon but I would never do business with this dive shop again. Very disappointing since we don't have any local alternatives for dive equipment servicing.

I feel so much more confidant know diving our turbulent Northern California waters. . We did our first four ocean dives and my surf training in Monterey, but I finished my ocean dives in Fiji. USS Watersports regularly plans trips both here in California as well as warm water locals. It was great to be able to get an additional week of diving in, with my instructor, in such an amazing location. If your looking for a dive excursion, check out the dive trips that USS Watersports organizes. Before you go, the store has some dive gear in stock but even though they don't keep a large stock on hand they can order anything you want at great prices. I can't recommend this shop enough. The experience working with them as been fabulous. I can hardly wait for the next trip I take with them to Catalina next year.
