    Lasagna alla Bolognese
    Karen S.

We stopped here for a beer and a "snack". I had the lasagna alla bolognese. The portion was small, but perfect for a snack. It's one of the best I have had. Not sure what the cheese inside was, but it was smooth and wonderful. My husband had the bruschetta with tomatoes, garlic and sardines and loved it. Tomatoes tasted like they were just from the garden. The staff was great and the view from the terrace was beautiful. The place was packed at 3 pm and it's easy to understand why. Check out this place after a hike. You won't regret it.

    Seafood Spaghetti

Cute place in Corniglia, right in the square where the train shuttle drops you off. There is a view of the water and the vineyards which is nice. There is free wifi, and the service is fine. We had the shrimp pizza and seafood spaghetti. Both were bland, and the seafood spaghetti didn't really have much seafood.

Our Airbnb host said this was the best place in town and it did not disappoint! We went twice. Very good food, great views, fair price

The pesto gnocchi is amazing. We also had the pizza with tomato, Parmesan, and arugula - fantastic! Also it has a lovely view of the sea.

We only had beer, but Internet is very fast and there is no cover charge! Fast service and good English from our waitress.

Right off the bat, a lil bit of a weird vibe from the hostess and the waiter that gave us nonstop stares as we sat down and then proceeded to bring us stale bread in a paper bag. At first I thought it was just a few stares because we're American and that's maybe understandable, but every time I would look over in their direction I was met with intense eye contact and it made us all feel very uncomfortable and almost unwelcome. The inside ambiance was also a little sterile but whatever, it was also colder out so their outside area was closed so that was a bummer but understandable. We ordered the Trofie Al Pesto and the Lasgana, as well as the grilled mixed seafood. The pesto came with prepackaged Parmesan (felt a lil weird for a restaurant in Italy) and was a lil too sauce heavy. The lasagna on the other hand was outstanding, probably the only win of the night. Grilled seafood was okay too but nothing special. Overall just a weird and off vibe from the service, nothing friendly or outstanding like the reviews said. Definitely will not be returning and left us with a bad taste in our mouth once we left.

We decided to do their famous pesto-making class, and honestly, this ended up being such a fun, enjoyable, and entertaining experience. The owner, who leads the class, was so approachable and eloquent, and I really loved that it wasn't just about making pesto. He actually took the time to explain the ingredients, the tradition, and the proper way to make it, so the whole thing felt surprisingly educational while still being very relaxed and fun. Music was great, lots of energy, beautiful views, and just a really happy, social vibe, that was the atmosphere. You're basically making pesto while overlooking one of the most picturesque views in Cinque Terre, so it's hard not to have a good time. At the end, you get to enjoy the pesto you made completely from scratch with a really good-size charcuterie board with fruits, cheeses, cold cuts, bread... Would I come here expecting a Michelin-worthy meal? No. But would I recommend it for the experience, the view, the ambience, and a fun afternoon in Manarola? Absolutely. Sometimes it's not just about teh food-- and Nessun Dorma is definitely one of those places.

We came in not knowing what to expect--whether it would feel overly touristy or genuinely authentic--but it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, especially traveling with our young daughter. The class itself was both fun and informative. The owner took the time to explain the history and importance of each fresh ingredient, which made the experience feel meaningful rather than just a cooking demo. What really set this apart was the atmosphere. It was interactive, relaxed, and genuinely joyful--we even found ourselves dancing with our daughter by the end. Enjoying freshly made pesto and burrata while overlooking one of the most stunning views in Cinque Terre made it unforgettable. A special thank you to Michael, who went above and beyond--answering all our questions and sharing great local recommendations, especially for swimming spots. If you're visiting Manarola, this is an absolute must-do experience.
