We enjoyed walking around and seeing a wide variety of food options! The whole market area was clean and organized when we got there at 9am. No lines yet. Long lines did start forming around 9:45am when the hot foods were ready but moved pretty quickly. We tried: * The Ginger Pig - Traditional Sausage Roll * Wild Mushroom Risotto - Spelt Risotto with Truffle Shavings * Turnips Greengrocer - Chocolate Covered Strawberries * The Black Pig - The Best One With Crackling * Turkish Deli - Turkish Delight & Turkish Coffee * Bread Ahead - Crème Brûlée Donut

It is a farmer's type market with some prepared foods, which were top notch. We walked the entire thing and grabbed as much as we could to eat. There are plenty of food places just outside the space that are open later as well. I got some meat sticks from a vendor, sort of farmers market style. There was also another stand that had fruit in a cup with chocolate. Our best deal were some arepas that were half off because it was closing time and they wanted to get rid of them. This isn't the place to take pictures, but rather to immerse yourself in all the goodness that is here.

The restaurant is in a cute little spot with a few other restaurants. Great vibe with indoor and some outdoor seating The fresh fish and wine pairings are outstanding. We started with sea scallops which melted in your mouth. So good! Then we got a bottle of white wine with fish pairings (they had 8 local options the night we visited). I had the sea bass, and my husband had the trout. So good that I picked that sea bass apart all the way to the bone, which is saying a lot given that it was a very meaty, generous portion already. I tasted the trout, and it was equally amazing. Very impressive and fresh! I wish we could've actually tried some dessert because others around us looked very happy, but we were so full it didn't make sense. If you like fish, go out of your way and stop here! You won't regret it.

It was so flavorful and almost had a meat-like texture, wrapped perfectly in the crisp phyllo dough. My partner went for the lamb roast, featuring tender, juicy pieces of lamb that tasted fantastic. We also enjoyed some pigs in a blanket and a side of stuffing. There was so much food that we shared our pigs in a blanket with the lovely ladies at the next table. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to ask for the gravy on the side of the stuffing so it doesn't get overwhelmed.

Before I go on, I have to thank the staff for allowing us to be seated because the restaurant was fully booked yet they managed to squeeze us in. That was so generous of them and we just want to acknowledge them. Ok. So, the portion was generous and beautifully plated. The steak was tender, rich, and slow-cooked to perfection, packed with deep, savory flavor from the ale. Every bite was hearty and comforting -- exactly what you want when you're in London. The gravy was silky and robust, perfect for dipping those thick-cut chips, which were golden on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It also came with fresh greens, roasted tomatoes, and crispy onion rings that added great texture and balance to the dish. You can tell this is proper pub food done right -- no shortcuts, just bold, satisfying flavor. If you're looking for a classic, filling English meal that absolutely delivers, this is it. I'd order it again in a heartbeat. Not a bad start to our first night in London. Bonus: They have a downstairs pub that stretches across 3-4 rooms so definitely grab yourself a pint after dinner. Really cool vibes!

We had to try one, but my wife and daughter don't like fried food so I had to find some place for me to eat. Near our hotel there's this place called long lane fish bar, and they only accept cash so I had to get some money from the ATM. The price is quite reasonable and I took out instead of eating in. The fish is very crispy and tasty with tartar sauce (had to pay $.50), there's no vinegar although the server squirt some in the fries. The fries are excellent, very fresh potato IMO. I love fish and chips, remembered H salt chain restaurants in the state that closed down many years ago. Well, I came back again on Monday but it closed, couldn't have some before we went home.

For what it's worth, the place seemed like an authentic fish and chips place, but I don't have much to judge by. The fish was tasty, the chips were excellent, portions more than I could finish, and all for very low prices (7.5 pounds for a small fish and chips). They do charge extra for ketchup, so make sure you get that. No seating, but they have a counter; I took my box to a nearby park and ate on a bench there.
