I have gone in twice for piercing-related needs. The first time was to get my conches re-pierced after I could not get my jewelry back in and assumed they had closed up - I had barbells that constantly got hooked on my mask loops, making it very painful to wear both...so I had removed the jewelry, for apparently too long. Jerry gloved up and took a look, hooked me up with different jewelry featuring flat backs that wouldn't interfere with other items on my ears and wouldn't aggravate my sensitive skin, and had me back out the door quickly and professionally! The second time was for the same piercing (it tries to close up quickly when it gets a chance) because I'd had hand surgery that required removing the piercings, but rendered my dexterity for reinstalling them impossible a few months later. Jerry to the rescue again! Very reasonable pricing for the time spent getting gloved up, sanitizing the work station, etc. The whole Sea City team is friendly, professional, welcoming, skilled, and generally awesome. It's also neat to see them outside the shop occasionally being part of different community events. One day I hope to get a tattoo there, too. :) read more

I got a tattoo done through this tattoo shop with Erin Ashleigh and I am so pleased with how it turned out. She is a great choice especially for anyone coming in for their first tattoo! She first did a video chat with me where I explained what I wanted my tattoo to look like and showed her some photos, she drew up a couple ideas later and when I came in she showed them to me, she made some changes upon my request, drawing right there in front of me to make sure it was what I wanted! She printed out a couple sizes of stencils so I could see what it would look like and choose a size, she did a thorough job and I plan on coming back for any future tattoos! UPDATE: I am so done with this place. The owner responded and told me to come in to make things right. Jerry confirmed that my piercing was 1/16th of an inch off from my nipple. He re did my nipples last Friday because he said I was not able to get a refund, and the next day I could tell that something once again was not right. I came in and he looked and he said that my nipple was just swollen and that my areola was not pierced again. A few days later it still looked wrong, so I went elsewhere and was confirmed that one again MY NIPPLE WAS MISSED. I am so frustrated that this was messed up twice, and both times the piercers let me walk out of the shop with botched piercings. I've talked to two other friends who have gotten botched nipple piercings here as well. I am in disbelief. I never want to step back in this shop unless I am given a full refund because of the unnecessary pain I've had to go through twice now. I was asked to delete this review after I got my nipple redone, but since it was missed for a second time and I couldn't even get an honest answer when I came in to check, I am posting this again because I don't want anyone else to not only waste their money, but go through the pain of nipple piercings only for them to get messed up. Very disappointed. I came here yesterday to get my nipples pierced, the male piercer was super sweet and polite. The female piercer who was at the front desk was short and kind of rude, I felt like I wasn't welcome there. I was offered to get them done at the same time, which I gladly took upon. So one side was the male piercer and the other side was done by the female piercer. Later on I take a closer look and realize the female piercer COMPLETELY missed my nipple and pierced my areola. At first I thought I was just swollen so I went to a different shop to get it checked out and like I expected, the piercer said I was right and my nipple was completely missed and if I didn't take it out I would get problems. Normally I would be empathetic over a mistake because we're all human, but she's a piercer and should have noticed right away she completely missed the marking, but chose not to say anything and charge $125 anyway, and her being rude the entire time doesn't help with me trying to be understanding. She also said that all I need to do for cleaning was spray the neil med spray a few times a day and treated me like an idiot when I asked if I should do a sea salt soak as well (which is weird because other piercers I have spoke with since yesterday advised me to do the soaks and the people I've talked to who have theirs done already said they were advised to do the Very disappointed I spent $125 (before my tip!) on these piercings, especially since I consented to a NIPPLE PIERCING, not an areola piercing. If I could post the photo where you can see where she blatantly missed the marking (you can still see the marker in the photo) I would. I will be coming back Tuesday when they open again and I hope they can make things right because this place clearly has a ton of good reviews and I'm really disappointed I didn't get to experience that. Now I'm left with one properly pierced nipple piercing, an areola with empty holes, and wasted money. read more

Just wanted to say that if you are getting a piercing DO NOT come here. If they would've just messed up on me I would've been like eh I guess it's just me but no I came in with a group of friends and ALL of our piercings were messed up! Just wanted to start with the fact the piercing man is so unbelievably rude (he wears like a kilt everyday so that's how you can indicate him possibly because I don't know his name) Makes you feel like an idiot anytime you have a concern or question and just treats you like you're stupid! He did no job of making you feel comfortable and safe to do your piercing... he just made me way more nervous! He was so unbelievably rude to me and my friends before we got our piercings that we all were discussing if we should even give them our money or not and he overheard us and of course wants our money and apologized so we wouldn't leave. I got a lip piercing done by him and he didn't give me any instructions of how to to take care of it/clean it like most piercers do after they pierce you and none of my friends were given instruction either. My lip piercing was swollen but that's normal (I think) so I didn't think anything of it but when I went to a different piercer to get my friends ears pierced she looked at me right when she saw me and asked who did my piercing because it was done completely wrong! She said my piercing should not be indenting my lip like that, she said he pierced my lip too high (was pierced in the completely wrong area), and she advised me to take it out immediately! However, I didn't listen and I kept it in and then the biggest keloid of my life formed on the piercing and I have had it since September and the bump never went away so I'm just now taking it out and the bump went away but now I have to spend all that money to get it pierced again!! EVEN WORSE than my piercing that day my friend came along with me and got her tongue pierced and oh. my. god. That poor girl her tongue was so fat afterwards she couldn't even breathe! Her tongue was also severely infected it looked disgusting!! And she couldn't even keep it in for more than two days because she couldn't eat it was so fat or breathe and the amount of puss coming out of it was so gross!! I'm just happy my friend who got her nose pierced didn't get her face paralyzed by them. She was the only one that day that didn't have any complications besides the rude piercer. Anyways all I gotta say is worst experience of my life NEVER come here EVER and If you do get a tattoo NOT a piercing ESPECIALLY from the man with the beard and kilt! read more
