We arrived at the park at 10:30, I know this is before park opening at 11:00, but we wanted to be sure to hit the circuit running and be in line when the rides opened. At 11:30 the majority of the rides were still going through testing and not operating for passengers. We waited an hour for the Zamboni Zinger and after it was still not open, we decided to head off to other rides with less wait times (per the app). If the app says 45 minute wait time, expect and hour plus. Most of the larger rides were down multiple times throughout the day. We waited two hours for one ride that went down and we're told a "brief delay".....after another hour we threw in the towel. The jump the line passes allow for riders with a wrist band to enter a separate line, and even though they alternate regular with jump the line, if another ride in the park breaks down (which apparently happens frequently), the jump the line riders in the ride you are waiting in increases significantly. We left at 7 p.m. and ended up riding only 4 rides, three of which were the older, smaller, kiddie rides in the Western World. After $50+tax tickets and $30 parking, to say it was a disappointment is an understatement. The only redeeming qualities were the entertainment shows, but still not worth the ticket price for an amusement park, in my opinion. We scrapped Oceans of Fun altogether and completely changed our minds about a second day. If you must go, shell out the extra for the jump the line or better yet, save your money and see all the other (much better) attractions in the KC area!!

I entered with my grandchildren, and the Assistant Manager along with another associate simply chatted among themselves while I stood visibly waiting for assistance. Let's just say I corrected them quickly on this unprofessional misstep. 2. Numerous machines were out of service, yet they continued deducting points without providing any of the promised services. I had to personally keep returning to the front desk, which took away from the experience. 3. Every employee except the young lady at the front desk was engrossed in their cellphones. 4. I had to search repeatedly for staff to operate the rides so my grandchildren could enjoy what was available, as stations remained unmanned. 5. Staff members were eating at the front desk openly, with the Assistant Manager bringing food to one employee while I was trying to have points put back on the card yet again from another game not working. 6. The ticket redemption station was closed/locked. I had to return to the front desk again to find the young man who should have been back there standing at the front desk eating. He casually said he was "trying to eat" when I inquired about exchanging tickets for prizes. This entire experience was beyond disappointing--and there are no valid excuses. Numerous establishments take your money without delivering quality service. This is one of those places. We wasted far too much time attempting to spend $100 worth of tokens, and we will absolutely not return.

The mini golf was fun but overall I think the place is kind of small I wish there was more to do so we could stay longer.
