Food was really good! I had rock fish tacos and husband had fish & chips. Service was only at the counter where you place your order and pick up your order. They have a variety of beer and wine you pick from the cooler. Ambiance is quaint, but clean.

This is a great place to dine after kayaking through the Elkhorn Slough. After putting away your gear, head in and place your order. They will give you a beeper then you go about finding a table either inside or out on their expansive deck. Service is great and friendly. If you need ice for your drink, get one of the cups near the water dispenser and head back to the cashier/ordering area. The decor is inviting and unassuming. They have good variety of grilled and fried seafood for you to choose from. They even have a small souvenir area where you can purchase a stuffed otter to remember your time there.

So easy to go on a SEA FOOD diet here! We were recommended this spot by our rental car attendant in SFO, and this spot was definitely worth the hype! They specialize in freshly fried fish and seafood, and we had to order their signature fish and chips, which are made from local rockfish, and come with fries and coleslaw. Despite already eating a large lunch prior, we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious and perfectly fried the fish was, and how generous the portions were (especially at only $16), and we were lowkey planning on stopping by again the next day to try more of their menu! Highly recommend stopping by one of their Moss Landing or Pacific Grove locations for comfort, freshly fried seafood at very affordable prices!

    Fish and also chips!

This place has awesome atmosphere. The people are super nice and everybody looks like locals. The views are amazing everywhere you look. From outside, it looks like a fish warehouse. I just love everything about it. Staff was knowledgeable and attentive and kind. They even have kids food! Oh, and they're dog friendly!

Great food, friendly service, and beautiful views! Went on Mother's Day with 3 of my 4 cheer'ren. We actually went twice, once for early lunch and once for dinner! Seriously go.

Sea Harvest at sunset is such a treat. It is one of my favorite patios on the Monterey Bay! I got the 1/2 prawns and chips today and it was perfect. That and a drink for like 12 bucks is such a steal. The food was wonderfully crispy and the prawns were fresh. The cocktail sauce and ranch were on point too! Everything was ready quickly and the waitress who took my order was accommodating. I love how relaxed it is, but I would happily pay double for that view!

There aren't very many dining options in Moss Landing, and Sea Harvest appeared to be a solid spot for dinner when staying in the area and wanting something near by. The location and the views are definitely the star of the show here - you cannot beat the water views and the vibes at sunset. You may also get lucky and see local wildlife! I saw an otter out in the water and an egret as I walked in. The staff were friendly - you order at the counter and seat yourself. It was a cold night so I chose a spot in their green house like area instead of the exposed patio, which was nice as I could still appreciate the views. I ordered the mixture of fish and chips, which also came with calamari and shrimp, as well as a cup of clam chowder. The chowder was very creamy and chunky but I wouldn't necessarily say it had many clams. It hit the spot though and I would get it again. The fish, however, which was halibut, was unfortunately not good at all - it was quite dry/overcooked inside and very disappointing. The shrimp and calamari however were very good and I really enjoyed those. The fries were okay - not bad but nothing special. Overall, it was a decent meal and I enjoyed the views but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to go there had I not been in the area given the disappointment of the fish, which felt like the one item on the menu that should be perfectly executed.

Halibut disappointing. Looked and tasted like chicken breast. Dry.

I was craving fish and chips after our exciting whale watching tour and found Sea Harvest right down the street. I ordered the combo with garlic fries, my SO ordered the sablefish with rice and veggies, and we also got two BBQ oysters to round out the meal. The sablefish, rice and veggies plate was cooked to perfection! The fish was buttery, moist and just needed a squeeze of lemon and a dash of salt. The veggies were nicely cooked al dente. Sadly, the reason why we came (the fried fish, which that day was halibut) was overcooked and dry. It looked and tasted like a white meat chicken tender. So disappointing. I'm glad I opted for the combo because the fried calamari and fried shrimp were delicious! The garlic fries were also good and well worth the $1 up charge. BBQ oysters were meaty and topped with raw garlic which gave it quite the punch. Fast casual, they give you a beeper and you pickup when ready. Indoor and outdoor seating with umbrellas overlooking the water. They have every condiment you can imagine to go with your meal at every table too.

My husband and I finally had the chance to try this place since our boys--both allergic to seafood--weren't with us this time. When we arrived around 6 p.m. on a Friday, only a few tables were occupied, which was nice. I grabbed a menu and headed to the counter, but since there was no line, I decided to just ask for their specialty instead of reading through. The staff recommended the Cioppino, so I went with that and added an order of Calamari. My husband chose a small cup of Clam Chowder. Our total came to $49 for the three items. I wanted to sit outside, but the evening chill was setting in, so we took a cozy table inside by the window--perfect for enjoying the sunset view. Our food came out in under 10 minutes, which was impressive. The Clam Chowder was a bit salty for my taste and felt like it was missing something, but the Calamari was spot on--crispy, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious! The Cioppino hit the spot and fully satisfied my seafood cravings. The broth was flavorful, and dipping the grilled sourdough bread in it made it even better. We were so full that we couldn't finish the Calamari and took the rest to go. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience, and we'll definitely stop by again the next time we're near Moss Landing.

Amazing place yo eat. Friendly staff, clean and well managed place. The deck outside is awesome to eat right by the sea. The food is good and variety of seafood items to choose from.

The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors to have a better feel of the breeze. The staff were nice and helpful. Tacos were good and the fish was fresh and flaky. Fried oyster had a crunchy batter and tender meat. I did not like the clam chowder... it started very creamy and a little clampy then towards the end became watery... i am unsure how they heat or reheat it, but this is first for me. It also has a lot of potatoes and little clam, and the clam in there was very chewy.

The food came out pretty quick so again we were happy The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the pricing really went up for two platters of fish and chips and one appetizer and two iced teas it was 100 bucks- pretty steep if you ask me but I get it. The whole world is expensive right now so I can't be mad, especially when the food was that good Honestly, I would pay it 100 times over again to know that my mom is happy so it's all good

In March 2024, I received an email saying that they needed to clear out their bulk storage, and I had the option of receiving all of my salmon at once, or with each regular delivery until it's all gone. I was to reply within a week or the remainder of my supply would be donated. I replied saying sure, send some of it with each regular delivery, to which they replied: "Unfortunately, the season has been closed since last year but, we can definitely send Sockeye or Coho salmon instead." Turns out even though I paid for king salmon AND they claimed that they still had it and needed to clear out storage, they actually didn't have the amount all of their members had pre-purchased in storage, due to "quality concerns" beyond a certain period. Which they NEVER gave me any heads up about until this point. So when their email went out, the first handful of people to reply got the rest of the king salmon, and they wanted me to accept a different variety instead. A couple of months and over a dozen emails later, I finally received a refund for the rest of the salmon I thought I had bought. I'm very disappointed in how this situation was handled. While I see that they now explain the terms more clearly for their bulk sales, with the prioritization of ad-hoc sales over regular subscriptions for product variety and quality, I don't see the value of this service anymore compared to buying fish from my local farmer's market.

It is tucked way back in the industrial zone of Moss Landing, next to the marine labs, the ship docks, and repair shops. But if the weather is nice, this is a spot you want to visit, and grab a seat on their deck overlooking the harbor. You see seals swimming, birds dipping around, and boats coming and going. Suffice to say the ambiance is top notch. The menu, while not the biggest, has a great selection of stuff to choose from. Salads, sides, burgers, steak, soups, seafood, etc. I went with their Seared Fish Tacos, and wow, these were phenomenal. Locally caught fish, with a really delicious sauce, they were the perfect sized lunch. And while they have a selection of beer and wines, they also have a bunch of choices of non-alcoholic elixirs and sodas. In my case, I went with their house-made lavender-anise lemonade, which was fantastic, and just so very refreshing on a warm, sunny day. Service was good, just a bit slow since it was a pretty full house that day. Prices are pretty decent, especially considering where you are, with the taco plate running me about $15, but other entrees going up from there. And parking can be a bit of a pain, since there are very limited streetside spaces in this little industrial village, and getting on/off the highway can be a bit tricky, too, so drive carefully. Overall, I very much enjoyed Woodward's, and I will almost certainly be back when next I'm driving down the coast.
