Came with some friends on a Saturday morning at 11 am. They don't take reservations so it's first come first serve. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Thankfully they weren't busy when we got there but by the time we left (around 1230) the place was full!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You place your order at the counter and are given a buzzer when your order is ready. It was a chilly morning so I started with the clam chowder, it was creamy and flavorful I would definitely get it again. I then had the mussels and the fried artichokes. The artichokes were thick and super garlicky. The mussels were good but I felt like the broth could have had more flavor, maybe some parsley or garlic. I would definitely come back to try other menu items, I saw someone with the fish tacos and they looked great! A perfect place to go To before whale watching!

We ate here last week on vacation. The lady taking our order was super helpful and led me to order some delicious fish tacos. They were so good and melted in my mouth! Everyone in our group loved their food. We had tacos, and fish and chips. Everything was excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I didn't realize it was so casual but it was still a great place to get good fish.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If I ever return to the Monterey area I will for sure come back to this restaurant!

Was visiting family in Santa Cruz, and since we had a day with nothing serious planned, they decided to bring us here for a nice lunch on the waterfront. Wow! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Location is amazing... kind of in the middle of nowhere, but so worth the visit![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]On a gorgeous sunny day with the cool wind blowing, this was without a doubt the absolute highlight of our visit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We really wanted to sit outdoors to enjoy the sun, fresh cool air, but it was just way too windy, so we settled for a just as good indoor seating where you can also enjoy the amazing water views, but without the cold winds blowing, making your food go cold after a few seconds, or blow away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Be warned, however, indoor seating is in very high demand and snagging a good table will take some effort.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anyway, we were lucky as we showed up when there was hardly any line where you'd place your order at the counter, pay for your food, take a the buzzer that will be given to you, go find a table, wait for your buzzer to go off, then go pick up your food at the same counter. Although the line wasn't too long, the wait for our food took kind of long, but not a problem as it just meant we could spend more time taking in the awesome views. There were 4 of us and we ordered the Garlichoke basket.... fried artichoke garlic parmesan style, Grilled Halibut with a green salad, Scallop & Chips, Fish & Chips, a cup of Clam Chowder, Baja Cali Fish Tacos, and some beer to wash it all down. Boy... everything turned out absolutely hot, very fresh, and so delicious. I admit I was actually expecting the scallops to be large sized, but they turned out to be the small bay scallops instead, which was still very good. Other than that there's really nothing bad to say about the food here... everything we ordered was excellent! Great location, amazing weather, awesome views, very yummy delicious and comforting food.... thoroughly enjoyed this experience....this is what the good life is all about! :D

Everything was enjoyable here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We arrived around 4pm on a Friday and it was a little windy and chilly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Fried Baja Fish tacos were DELISH. Large portion with each of the 4 tacos served. Husband got the grilled Rock Fish, it came with rice and steamed veggies. Big portion of fish and everything was fresh! Cup of CHOWDER was so yummy and their oysters were good. Can't wait to come back.

    Let's go.

I've eaten here many times over the years and I've never left a review...wow! So here goes. This to me is the "new Phil's " if you know you know. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of great seating most with decent views of the harbor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is good, never had a bad meal or experience here. Service is better since they switched to order at the counter, take your buzzer and pick up your food style...like "Phil's. Took a friend for lunch and she loved it. Last words...fish and chips.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great Seafood restaurant with a view of the Elkhorn Slough in Moss Landing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly and was happy to answer our questions. I had some minor issues, however all the actual seafood was cooked perfectly and very tasty. My main dish was Rockfish From The Grill. My fish was perfectly cooked. I got my rockfish with cajin seasoning and it had such a great taste with the seasoning. My rice also was very tasty. I wasn't to impressed with the vegetables. They were well cooked but with no seasoning and just kind of there. The Calamari basket was so good. The calamari was perfectly fried. I would have liked an additional sauce. The prawn cocktail could have also used more cocktail sauce. Overall I had a great dining experience.

This is a great place to dine after kayaking through the Elkhorn Slough. After putting away your gear, head in and place your order. They will give you a beeper then you go about finding a table either inside or out on their expansive deck. Service is great and friendly. If you need ice for your drink, get one of the cups near the water dispenser and head back to the cashier/ordering area. The decor is inviting and unassuming. They have good variety of grilled and fried seafood for you to choose from. They even have a small souvenir area where you can purchase a stuffed otter to remember your time there.

Food was really good! I had rock fish tacos and husband had fish & chips. Service was only at the counter where you place your order and pick up your order. They have a variety of beer and wine you pick from the cooler. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is quaint, but clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

So easy to go on a SEA FOOD diet here! We were recommended this spot by our rental car attendant in SFO, and this spot was definitely worth the hype! They specialize in freshly fried fish and seafood, and we had to order their signature fish and chips, which are made from local rockfish, and come with fries and coleslaw. Despite already eating a large lunch prior, we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious and perfectly fried the fish was, and how generous the portions were (especially at only $16), and we were lowkey planning on stopping by again the next day to try more of their menu! Highly recommend stopping by one of their Moss Landing or Pacific Grove locations for comfort, freshly fried seafood at very affordable prices!

This place has awesome atmosphere. The people are super nice and everybody looks like locals. The views are amazing everywhere you look. From outside, it looks like a fish warehouse. I just love everything about it. Staff was knowledgeable and attentive and kind. They even have kids food! Oh, and they're dog friendly!

Sea Harvest at sunset is such a treat. It is one of my favorite patios on the Monterey Bay! I got the 1/2 prawns and chips today and it was perfect. That and a drink for like 12 bucks is such a steal. The food was wonderfully crispy and the prawns were fresh. The cocktail sauce and ranch were on point too! Everything was ready quickly and the waitress who took my order was accommodating. I love how relaxed it is, but I would happily pay double for that view!

There aren't very many dining options in Moss Landing, and Sea Harvest appeared to be a solid spot for dinner when staying in the area and wanting something near by. The location and the views are definitely the star of the show here - you cannot beat the water views and the vibes at sunset. You may also get lucky and see local wildlife! I saw an otter out in the water and an egret as I walked in. The staff were friendly - you order at the counter and seat yourself. It was a cold night so I chose a spot in their green house like area instead of the exposed patio, which was nice as I could still appreciate the views. I ordered the mixture of fish and chips, which also came with calamari and shrimp, as well as a cup of clam chowder. The chowder was very creamy and chunky but I wouldn't necessarily say it had many clams. It hit the spot though and I would get it again. The fish, however, which was halibut, was unfortunately not good at all - it was quite dry/overcooked inside and very disappointing. The shrimp and calamari however were very good and I really enjoyed those. The fries were okay - not bad but nothing special. Overall, it was a decent meal and I enjoyed the views but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to go there had I not been in the area given the disappointment of the fish, which felt like the one item on the menu that should be perfectly executed.

Halibut disappointing. Looked and tasted like chicken breast. Dry.

We've always been pleased, but not this past Sunday. We met friends for dinner, and we were both disappointed. I found the Prawn Fettucini Alfredo to be under-cooked. The prawns were fine, but the pasta wasn't fully cooked, and it had the taste and feel of uncooked flour. My side salad had far too much dressing and the mixed greens were very wilted. My companion ordered the Shrimp Skewer Salad. It was swimming in dressing and like my small salad it was made up primarily of wilted greens. We also thought that, given the poor quality of the meal, $22 for her salad and $32 for my pasta were definitely on the high side, especially at a place where you order your food at a counter and then dine in what amounts to "school lunch rom" ambience.

Having the market (with even more seating) in a separate area is a huge upgrade--no heavy fishy smell while you eat. The portions are massive across the board. In fact, the kid's meal fish and chips is generous enough to satisfy an adult! The fish and chips were crispy, fresh, and seasoned just right without being overly salty. The seared ahi tuna was fresh, perfectly seared, and served with crisp vegetables and a good pilaf rice. The sauce made from canned mandarins was a bit syrupy and sweet for my taste (a savory sauce might fit better), but the fish quality itself was fantastic. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their food. Excellent quality, huge portions, and a much-improved dining environment. We hope to be back!

In March 2024, I received an email saying that they needed to clear out their bulk storage, and I had the option of receiving all of my salmon at once, or with each regular delivery until it's all gone. I was to reply within a week or the remainder of my supply would be donated. I replied saying sure, send some of it with each regular delivery, to which they replied: "Unfortunately, the season has been closed since last year but, we can definitely send Sockeye or Coho salmon instead." Turns out even though I paid for king salmon AND they claimed that they still had it and needed to clear out storage, they actually didn't have the amount all of their members had pre-purchased in storage, due to "quality concerns" beyond a certain period. Which they NEVER gave me any heads up about until this point. So when their email went out, the first handful of people to reply got the rest of the king salmon, and they wanted me to accept a different variety instead. A couple of months and over a dozen emails later, I finally received a refund for the rest of the salmon I thought I had bought. I'm very disappointed in how this situation was handled. While I see that they now explain the terms more clearly for their bulk sales, with the prioritization of ad-hoc sales over regular subscriptions for product variety and quality, I don't see the value of this service anymore compared to buying fish from my local farmer's market.

We walked in around 3pm, were seated along the bar overlooking the harbor with a great view. Unfortunately the staff either forgot about us or didn't realize we were in someone's assigned section because we ended up waiting almost 30 minutes for someone to come over to take our order. I tried turning around to make eye contact with the staff, but they were hard at work and I didn't want to interrupt them as they were almost always speaking to other customers. We watched several tables who were seated after us get their order taken, so I started to get nervous knowing they closed at 4pm.
