They also have some pokemon cards & I know this because when I was standing in line the staff was helping out this kid pick a pack of cards, he didn't rush him and was very friendly and attentive making sure he got a cool pack of cards, during that interaction I found out it is a family run place and he was the son of the owner. During my checkout he and his sister assured me I got the best flip flops in the store & they are comfortable and extremely durable! They were definitely comfortable, I haven't put durability to the test yet but plan to very soon. This shop is located right on the beach

My aunt and I visited the Jacksonville Seashells & Souvenirs store, and unfortunately, we felt racially profiled during our visit. We had been in the store for less than five minutes, simply browsing, when an employee approached us and asked if we were finding everything okay. After that, he continued to follow us down the aisles and stared at us in a way that made us feel very uncomfortable. We no longer felt comfortable making a purchase so we decided to leave but as we were leaving the store, the employee stopped us and requested to check our purses. He then threatened to call his manager and the police if we did not comply. What made the situation even more upsetting was that there were several other customers in the store, and none of them were approached, followed, or asked to have their belongings checked. The entire experience was embarrassing, humiliating, and left us feeling singled out. The employee claimed that purse checks are always required, but based on what we observed, that policy did not appear to be applied equally to all customers. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend this store. No customer should feel targeted or accused of wrongdoing simply while shopping!!! For me the museum didn't amount to much, which is probably why its free of charge give away, but I found the Museum Gift Shop to be a nice place to pick up souvenirs, some really good quality items they refer to as being of the Jekyll Island Collection, books on the history of Jekyll Island Museum as well as some surrounding areas where you can view the old horse stalls of such notables as Joseph Pulitzer. This gift shop along with most of the others you'll find within the Jekyll Island Historic District are rather first class as opposed to the cheap stuff most often found in such tourist shops.

My mother collects them and I wanted to get her one. I asked a store employee if they sold any and she asked her manager who pointed me towards the area they had souvenirs. Plenty stocked on souvenirs and yes they did have a souvenir spoon... unfortunately... it only was a general one for Florida. Well that's no good! I wanted one with the city name. So no luck for me. Store is plenty stocked with snacks and drinks. So if you are in Jacksonville International Airport and are looking for any of what I listed in my review... this may be your last shot in getting it before you get on a plane.
