I reserved a pair of bikes online beforehand from Alki Kayak Tours as they are quite literally, right next to the ferry drop off on Alki. When we arrived, the bikes were ready to go and we were able to take off within minutes. We spent a few hours riding around the island, stopping for ice cream and to snag a beer at one of the local breweries. It was such a fun way to take in the beautiful views of downtown Seattle, the bay, the gorgeous homes, and Mt. Rainier. We were about 30 minutes late in returning our rentals and they didn't charge us or even really care and returning the bikes was seamless. I highly recommend this as an activity and would 100% do it again!

I also recognize it was very early in the season, so some of the staff were training and brand new. However, the whole experience felt a bit unorganized, honestly, and like we were just being rushed in and out. The boats are slow, but it makes for a nice relaxing ride. Parking can be a little hard to find in the area, find a spot that covers enough hours for your boat ride.

There are some differences in their price tiers dependent on the time and type of sailing. Prices can range between $39-$79. Their email notifications are thorough and provided recommendations on parking, things to bring, and what to expect onboard. Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed. Alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine, and mimosas are available for purchase onboard the ship. The check-in tent is located by Anthony's on Pier 66. Boarding started at around 10 minutes before departure and crew members walked us down to the marina. The ship is an 85 foot long schooner named Bay Lady and features an 87 foot mast and bench seating with backrests. This ship also has a cannon which they did fire while out on Puget Sound. The tour was 2 hours and unnarrated and bar service immediately started as soon as we cleared the marina. About 30 minutes into the voyage, crew members asked for volunteers to hoist the sails. Overall, I highly recommend this experience. The crew were attentive and consistently checked-in on our group.
