Now that we got that out of the way, this is a really great spot in a bit of an industrial location. The patio sits right over the river so you can watch the tide come in right from your seat with your beer. There is lots on tap. Everything is free to try and then you can head outside to the HUGE patio on varying levels to enjoy your pint of your favourite sample. Lots of merch in store if that's your thing. Eat before you come, have a pint, enjoy the view and you'll be happy as a clam. Not much else to say, really.

Lots of grass and it's great if you want to bring kiddos because there's fun games laid out and bubbles at the entrance. Another great reason to sit outside is that they've got lots of sunscreen available at the entrance for you to use so no worries if you forgot yours! The taproom is just another beautiful spot where you can pull up a stool and drink your worries away. It's long and narrow with a few other options for seating so not really great for crowds - you want to take that party outside. Speaking of parties, this is THE place to hang out on the weekends, especially Friday. Check their social media pages to see what's going on and check out the music, food truck and themed event. There's no food here unless you're here on a weekend with a food truck so be sure to eat or pack a picnic first and then head on over to grab some really great beer or cider. We visited on a mostly sunny, warmish August Friday at the start of the Labour Day weekend. Essentially it's a restaurant and a very pleasant one at that. There is a smallish bar/galley area inside, with a covered, all weather and all year round solarium attached, a small patio and lawn beyond that. They offer beer/cider and wine samplers which I'd strongly recommend. I went for the four reds they produce, and thoroughly enjoyed them all, especially the 1763 Unhinged. The menu is quite extensive, and we went for a pizza each, Bent Ridge Belly for me, Fig and Onion for the wife. Both were delicious and of generous size. I tried their ginger infused rough cider, which was excellent and quite novel. I was also treated to a gratis glass of the Maple Porter. The restaurant affords pleasant views across the valley and is nicely appointed, with a variety of seating and can cater for fairly large groups. Service was a delight and the eventual bill of almost exactly $100 not onerous by today's standards. Will definitely have to visit again. And this time I'll take a growler and buy some of their craft beer.
