First of all, Audrey is a complete peach. I heard about this place and I wanted to check it out because of the great reviews, and they did not disappoint. She created a really delicious latte for me based on what I liked, and we had such great conversations during that time. The spot itself is adorable as well with lots of cute things to look at and potentially buy while you wait for your latte... And the parking lot had ample space, so there's no panic in terms of not being able to get your coffee. I will 100% be back. read more

One of the best beach surf shops where you can purchase merchandise and enjoy a coffee while beach hopping, walking, driving, or jogging on Pacific Coast Highway. They offer clothing, rentals, surfboards, wetsuits for adults and children, e-bikes, skates, hats, shoes, beach gear, and other items for purchase and browsing. I always had a pleasant experience visiting Malibu with family and friends. The staff have always been nice and friendly. I recommend the hoodies and surfboards they offer for sale. You can't go wrong with a hoodie to help with the ocean breeze and a high-quality surfboard for surfing! read more

Came in today after having a really positive experience the last time I was in (hence the previous 5 star review). Today's visit was different. The two gentlemen working were very unwelcoming and not friendly. We came in for the coffee and they were busy when we walked in so we walked around waited a bit and headed back to the coffee bar. It seemed like no one wanted to help us and when they did it was not in a friendly way. It felt very unwelcoming. However, the coffee is so amazing. The lady working was friendly as well helping the other customers. I would give it another try if I'm in the area but I hope service improves a bit. read more

Went in to purchase a $400 wetsuit and the owner of the store was so arrogant that he lost a sell immediately. I was told that they didn't have my size which I understand and would be willing to order the correct size. They did have my size in a thicker wetsuit which I was going to try on to make sure i liked the feel of that particular brand before ordering one but for some reason the owner of the store wanted me to try on a smaller size even though I knew it wouldn't fit by just looking at it. I have also had several wetsuits and I know what size that I am. When I didn't want to try on a wetsuit that I would have never fit into and said that I would prefer to try on the thicker suit in the size that would fit me the owner kind of had a little temper tantrum and grabbed the smaller suit from my hands and made a comment referring that I did not wanting to listen to him and walked away like a little child. I have no problem receiving advise from a store owner but when I know that the smaller suit would not fit I would expect the store owner to have a rational discussion not act like a spoiled small pathetic child. read more

The atmosphere and barista working were lovely, very cute spot! Right next to the beach and cute cups. My chai was very milky so I added two espresso shots to it and it helped. My friend's coffees were not great either. Overall a 3.5 but rounding up because it was a nice experience. read more

Sea N' Soul is an amazing spot on the north end of Malibu where it's quieter and super friendly! The shop is pet friendly, has the best music playing, and the coffee options are to die for! Not to mention, the staff are so welcoming. And they offer surfboard/boogie board rentals, as well as lessons! There's tons of beautiful, high quality boards for sale all over the shop. I stopped here before going to Point Dume because it was the closest coffee shop- literally across the street from Zuma Beach in the plaza! It's where coffee meets cozy surf shop. Super cute, quaint, and exactly what you'd expect a boutique coffee shop and surf shop in SoCal to look like! I had the popular lavender latte and a bagel with cream cheese. It was the perfect start to my morning before a beach hike with my pup! They have some really neat items at the surf shop from brands I had never seen, and even brands from artisans across the world! I bought a really cute bracelet made of brown leather and purple beads made in Bali! And it was only $10! :) If you're in Malibu headed to the beach, stop by here first! read more

The most darling coffee shop! We are so glad we found this place. It's a coffee shop tucked into a surf shop. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center. The staff is so sweet and really take the time to make the drinks because you can taste the quality and love. We ordered some iced vanilla lattes and they were just perfection. We also ordered their weekend bagels, which really hit the spot. There isn't much space to sit inside apart from a few chairs but it's a nice place to sip your drink and browse the shop. We look forward to returning! read more

This is a dream come true! I never thought in my wildest dreams a beautiful coffee shop would exist walking distance from my favorite beach Zuma Also, i was able to rent a wetsuit and board and learn to surf with a non profit called Sam's Surf Angels that meets every Friday morning at the shop! Community and coffee spot with soul of the ocean! Lastly, my goodness they even are a boutique! With beautiful one of a kind vintage clothing for kids women and men unisex. Mainly up cycled too! PS thank you Sea N Soul for having a frequent coffee card! After 10 drinks i get a free one!! So fun! read more

I put 5 boards on consignment here. They only sent me the money after I called at least 3 times for each board that sold. Each time I asked why didn't I receive the money the owner claimed he sold it yesterday. On top of that, he claims he sold them for less than we agreed on and scammed me out of my money. Don't ever put your board on consignment here! I wonder how many people they never paid?! read more

Great place to rent a board. Good pricing considering where you are, very friendly staff, clean wetsuit rentals, clean bathroom, and this place even has a coffee shop. Never seen that before but a great idea. I had a issue with my board after I got in the water, made the 5 minute walk and they had me switched out with a new board in a couple minutes no questions asked. Cool place that I will definitely recommend. read more

Great surf shop with wide selection of boards and accessories. Really nice upscale clothing for both women and men. The crew that works there are all knowledgeable and you are always greeted with a warm smile and welcomed like an old friend. It is an almost daily stop by me for their delicious coffee. It is by far the best in Malibu. Rachel and her fellow baristas are at the top of their game. Highly recommend! read more

Outstanding clothing quality that looks and feels great. Second, I love this location. The sales team - specifically Jake - is super cool and helpful. My brother and I are regular visitors and, even though we live closer to the Commerce location, we go to Simi because of Jake. I never feel like I'm being "sold" something. Instead, I feel like I have a buddy at the store just giving me great advice on fantastic products. Can you get the similar stuff at different stores or even online for a cheaper price? Sure but why would you when you have a great quality product with a super helpful sales team. What's cheap today is expensive tomorrow. Don't try to find knock off crap on Amazon. He took a moment because he thought it was a little less online. When he asked "and that's the total with tax?". Normally you hear back a confirmation but instead she said no with tax it's $73.62. Mind you we were at the register to pay not for a price check. My husband was looking at his phone and she blurts out "you want it or not?". We told her yes but I had to explain to her he is just taking a moment to look up the price. Normally someone at the register gives the total price when purchasing not sub total. I walked away once my husband got the receipt and was already a good ways away from the register and she yells out "Good Bye!" In the most patronizing tone. It was the cherry on top for this review. We are all human and can do better but this right here is why online shopping and self check out is putting cashiers out of jobs. I was notified probably within an hour that my pickup order was ready. I headed over and brought one of the tumblers into the store to be sure it fit. I was told that if I opened the package that it couldn't be returned. I eyeballed it and it looked like the right size. I didn't see many customers in the store, but it was huge and had a lot of merchandise. I was considering looking at weighted vests, but service wasn't very friendly, so I left shortly after.

The lobster roll is another surprise. I love Broad Street Oyster Company's lobster roll, but it's over almost as soon as it starts. Malibu Seafood's version is much more generous while still being packed with fresh lobster. Don't sleep on the steamed mussels either. Order a pound for the table and make sure you save the bread for the broth. That broth alone is worth coming back for. I always finish it off with one of their fresh-squeezed lemonades--the perfect pairing after a day at the beach. Seating can take a little patience too, but that's part of the experience. Grab a table overlooking the ocean and PCH if you can. Fresh seafood, ocean breeze, and flip-flops still covered in sand... that's Malibu done right. No reservations. No fancy dress code. Just outstanding seafood in one of the best casual beachside spots around. I'll keep coming back.

As someone who runs a business serving clients on a consistent basis from ucla, usc, uc Berkeley, Harvard etc just to name a few, i have high standards and this place did not know how to meet them in the slightest.. I specifically asked for a certain type of surf instructor and the manager moxy, tried to give me the complete opposite, I immediately asked for a replacement and she gave me someone mediocre. When I asked for the replacement she complained that any other place would not have complied with my request but I went to drill surf shop and they were able to meet my standards no problem. Moxy is a lazy manager and should be fired. This shop is called Sea n soul? Should actually be named spiritual downsyndrome. What a terrible waste of my valuable time! read more

We were hired to do an event for Sean N Soul on 8/21. They agreed to pay for any servings their customers did not purchase. At the end of the event they had an invoice total of $51 which they have still not paid or responded to. Not a proper way to handle a vendor. Highly recommend the matcha! The taste is delicious and not too sweet, the way it should be!
