Five stars! Highly responsive and professional start to finish. Looking for professional window washing recommendations, I saw great reviews for Sea the Ocean on the Who Would You Refer in Sussex County on Facebook. I contacted Isaac who was personable and professional on the phone. I asked him to break down a bid into three parts for window washing inside and outside, power washing the house, and power washing the fence. He followed through and provided a job estimate within a couple of days. The contract proposal form shows the company business license and insurance policy before clearly outlining the proposed job details. When accepting the bid I was also able to indicate three possible dates that would work. I quickly received confirmation for the work to be done on a set date. Isaac and Cornelio showed up on time, got to work, did a great job, and kept me informed throughout the process. Everything looks so much better - even my porch lights shine brighter after being professionally cleaned. It's a pleasure to recommend Isaac and his well run local small business. read more

I needed my windows cleaned and made an appointment. Isaac showed up exactly at the time scheduled, reviewed the task, and provided a bid on the spot, which I accepted. We settled on a time and date and then I had to cancel. They couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating and we were able to reschedule. Isaac did a marvelous job and my windows sparkle. Exceptional services. They work really well as a team. The quote was fair and I ended up adding a few services which they readily accommodated. I did interior and exterior window cleaning and I was amazed at how perfect they all turned out. I actually almost walked thru the slider door! I will definitely use them again and again. My wife and I have a home in Bethany Beach with a steep roof. In heavy rainstorms water would spill…read moreover the gutters, so we looked on Yelp and had The Gutter Guys come out to give us an estimate to fix the problem. The result: I needed larger 6" gutters and downspouts, priced at about $6,000 for the job. We signed the contract on the spot, in the end of January (when we weren't here) they came out to do the work, sent the bill electronically the next day, which I paid the day I received it with the work sight unseen. BIG MISTAKE!!!! A few months later we got to our vacation home and could not believe the job. Yes, the gutters and downspouts were replaced, but the drip edge (running from under the roof shingles and wrapping around the corners of the roof) looked like an opened tuna can. Worse, actually. Pictures are attached. Upon reaching out to The Gutter Guys it took about 2 weeks before the sales rep who sold me the job could come look at it. He told me what was done to get the old gutters off the house was "normal." If that's normal, I wonder what abnormal would look like. He did note some areas that needed more work and told me the crew would come back to address the other issues. And he told me that to fix the problem caused by his crew I'd have to go to a roofer. That was in May. By August they had not shown up to fix any of the issues, though I did have two other gutter companies come to look at the work and advise me on how to fix it. Both of the other gutter companies said they'd never seen a roof drip edge left in that condition and that "normal" was certainly not the word they'd use to describe it. After repeated conversations with The Gutter Guys sales rep he did say his crew should have noted the problem and that, as a minimum, I should have been sent pictures so I'd know what to expect when we returned to the home in the spring. In late August The Gutter Guys refunded roughly 10% of the job's price for the drip edge. My wife and I just got the roof replaced -- many times more expensive than the 10% refund -- to fix the problem caused by The Gutter Guys. We're now having the house painted, and just found wood rot (see picture) under one of the downspouts that were replaced by The Gutter Guys. It's not possible that their crew missed this wood rot, but, like the other problems and substandard work, I wasn't informed of this. And I wouldn't have known as the problem became worse had I not been getting my house painted. I'm willing to guarantee that the owner of The Gutter Guys wouldn't tolerate this kind of work on his own home. And I'll also guarantee none of the crew who did this to my house would have done this kind of work on their own homes. Gutter Guys are perfect for your job. Provided that you're looking for workers who will damage your home, not let you know about it, cover it up, and have to be dragged kicking and screaming to take any degree of accountability for their shoddy work. Worst company I have ever worked with. Absolutely horrible. RUN, DON'T WALK, AWAY FROM THE GUTTER GUYS.

Also on the first floor lav sink replaced the hot and cold shut off valves and both supply lines. 3. Removed a leaking 1/2" x 3/8" supply valve in the kitchen cabinet which was supplying cold water to the R.O. filters. Also installed a new valve. 4. Did an overall visual inspection of the valves, toilets, tub/showers and crawl space and at this time found no active leaks or fixture failures.

We have a service agreement with your company, and I've left five messages since last night with absolutely no response. Our outdoor HVAC unit has been having issues. A technician came out five days ago and said the unit was rubbing against a pipe. He simply moved the unit by hand and told us everything was fine. Last night, the unit started making a loud buzzing noise that lasts about a second every five minutes. The only reason I even noticed it was because I was outside with the dogs. I have no idea how long it had been doing it because I never received an alert through my Honeywell app. Assuming 3-5 hrs because i did hear it in afternoon. The house was still cooling, but after researching the issue, it was obvious something wasn't right. I shut off the circuit breaker for 10 minutes and turned it back on, but the buzzing continued. I have now left the breaker off because I don't want to risk burning out the motor or causing even more damage. This unit is only a little over four years old. Compressors can fail, but it's certainly not something you expect this early--especially after being told just a few days ago that everything was fine. The lack of communication is just as frustrating as the mechanical issue. Paying $500 a year for a service agreement should include timely callbacks, especially when a customer may be facing equipment damage. If I don't receive a callback immediately, I'll be requesting a full refund of my $500 service agreement which we just renewed 2 weeks ago . I'm prepared to take my business to a company that actually stands behind its service. What am i paying for ?

Chesapeake installed the sump pump in my brand-new…read morehome. 15 months after purchasing the home (3 months after the builder's 1 year warranty ended) the sump pump failed. Since Chesapeake had installed the pump, I contacted them for service. After evaluating their service man informed me the pump was installed incorrectly causing it to become "air locked" which "fried" the pump. I had the pump replaced on the day of the service call since I already had quite a bit of water in the crawl space and then followed up with their new home group regarding reimbursement. Even though the initial installation was their error and the error identified by their service man, they did not take accountability for the poor-quality work and denied my reimbursement request. I would not use them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else.
