What a fantastic job Tony did repairing my canvas cover ... new double stitching, new turn keys for the entire cover, canvas added which matched the existing cover. Here's a business that is concerned about the quality of the work and customer goodwill. The repair took less than one week and "it's better than new." Earlier this year, Tony replaced all the StrataGlass and canvas on our 41' sailboat. The job(s) included a complete replacement of our dodger, fly and bimini, along with 9 hatch and window covers on the topside, a new helm station cover, new aft rail seat cushions, new engine control panel cover and new side enclosure panels for the cockpit. It was a lot of work. Tony was great to work with, and visited me at the boat multiple times to get my requirements and discuss the work and flow time required to complete it. He often made suggestions that helped keep costs down. He also returned to the boat and reviewed details of the fit when I had questions, and made changes to get everything perfect. The quality of his work is excellent, his pricing is reasonable (good value), and I've received many compliments from friends and dock neighbors. I needed a company to replace my isinglass on my 30-foot Boston Whaler as well as make a canvas enclosure for the cockpit and back of the boat. This guy does great work and is really friendly. I really should have done a review before now but when I saw a low review from someone not getting a call back I had to write this. His shop is out of his house but his work is great. So if it takes a bit for him to get back to you it is most likely a fluke or he is busy since he doesn't have a huge shop of people with staff to answer just his phone. People kill me with what makes them upset. Perhaps some boating folk are just impatient and difficult. He is affordable and easy to work with. Im about to see if he can recover my Seadoo seats immediately after I finish this review. Thats actually why I came on to Yelp today, to find his number again. Almost 2 years ago Tony made a new bimini and side curtains for our 60' trawler. It was a very big job. I am super picky and want all the canvas perfect (no wrinkles). Tony did the job - perfectly, in good time and with a good attitude in spite of me being a pain in the butt. We used StrataGlass which is awesome but hard to work with and again all the windows are flawless. We've had canvas work done by other supposed excellent tradesmen. They weren't even close. He won't be the cheapest, but you'll get more than what you pay for. read more

Tony did a great job on a cockpit bimini for my Catalina 30. It required some complex cutting around the backstay as well as incorporating a clear cutout on top for being able to see the wind direction. He came out to my boat and did direct measurements, and also talked with me about exactly what I wanted. He gave me a quote on the spot (which was around $2,700). In the end, he was upfront about some modifications and the final price ended up being less, about $2,300. My only critique would be the timeframe (took over a month to finish), but I think it's worth it for the quality of the work done. It really does look professional, clean, and durable. I didn't shop around extensively for quotes due to time purposes, but I think the price-to-quality is definitely fair. There may be cheaper out there, but to have a custom and high quality job Tony is a great bet. read more

Tony's is great craftsman, but not reliable for holding any schedule or commitment to start or complete work. His prices are fairly high and he uses good quality materials. We could not find a time when he could complete the last section of his upholstery job despite having scheduled the work six months in advance. read more
