He was kind enough to answer a question of mine and went into detail how to verify the problem. Try doing that at boatshops. cant answer that its $185 an hour and we will go from there. No better repair shop around. I had a 12V trolling motor repaired a couple years ago at the Trolling Motor Doctor and it was like brand new. Present day, I thought my 24V Motor Guide was on it's last leg. The prop would spin and then slow down to nothing. I brought the motor in and as before, the owner and his wife were the most wonderful people to talk with. Instead of just taking the motor and charging me, the owner carried the motor to the shop, tested it with me present, and it worked perfectly. He told me it's probably a battery issue which was something I didn't suspect due to the batteries being fairly new. Not only did he tell me to check my batteries, he gave me the tool to test the batteries. What business has this kind of service nowadays? No other that I can think of. I went home, tested my batteries, and found that one of them was failing when under load. The Trolling Motor Doctor saved me a bunch of money and provided the customer service that I haven't seen in years.
