This is the absolute worst property management I have ever rented from for VRBO. Renter BEWARE!!!!! First they posted amazing pics of the property but it was a complete bait and switch. First of all they do not return messages. After 4 messages, two voicemails and finally a bad yelp review they replied back. We wanted to add pool heating since this was one of the reasons why we rented the house. They charged us $100 a day for heating to only find out heater doesn't even work! We have been swimming in a freezing pool. Upon arrival (checkin is at 4:00), we got to the property at 4:20. The house was still a mess and was being "cleaned". The property management stated the house is to PPE standards however it is not. The house is disgusting, dirty, bug traps around the house. Major cons: 1. No towels 2. No paper towels and trash bags - we had to buy our own at a local grocery. 3. Dishes and glasses are completely dirty with FOOD STUCK TO IT!!!!! Mind blowing. Please see pics 4. NO CURTAINS!!!!! It has been a nightmare sleeping on the mast bed. How can a place be so ghetto and cheap they can't even add drapes or anything. 5. All the mattresses are so used and abused they put cheap foam mattress pads on top of the beds to camouflage the mattresses that have been used for decades. 6. Pool- it was dirty and cloudy!!! The pool maintenance had to come twice to try and get the bacteria out and advised us not to swim in the pool for at least 24 hours. Well there goes our trip. 7. Railroad tracks are right next to the house and you can hear trains.. bells.. horns EVERYTHING. 8. Wires hanging everywhere in the house. Electric cords exposed. Complete liability For a 4 night stay for $10,000 this was an absolute rip off and the pictures are a scam!!!!! The house DOES NOT look like this and NOT up to PPE CDC cleaning standards as they are claiming. With COVID going on I do not recommend especially to rent from this company. They do not care about people or their experiences renting their properties. This company needs to be shut down. I have stayed many places in my lifetime and I can't believe how this company just doesn't care and has no pride. Shameful!!!!! I wish I could leave less than one star. This was an absolute disaster! Please beware of booking with this company as this is not a situation you want to deal with, especially on a vacation. We arrived at our unit to find that is had been grossly misrepresented by the listing. We couldn't even stay for the first night due to the following issues: 1) Overall poor and dirty condition. (Dirty floors, stained and dirty bath towels, cobwebs everywhere). 2) Bedding had hair and dirt inside and appeared to have not been changed. 3) Washer and dryer was completely rusted and not suitable for washing clothing. 4) Cabinets and drawers not functioning, broken, would not close, stuck. 5) ACTIVE LEAK AND MOLD under the kitchen sink, this is a potential serious health hazard. It is a huge issue that no one is available by phone to help with these issues. The phone representative was not able to assist with these issues and recommended I write an email to the company to officially make a request. I was told I would get a prompt response and we have yet to hear from anyone. COMPLETE DISASTER for a vacation. Please beware. read more

AWFUL experience. 200% DO NOT recommend. DO NOT rent from Sea Breeze. Read carefully, this place and Sea Breeze are not worth the cost. I rented a listing they have on Airbnb - https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/39275813?source_impression_id=p3_1623408188_a2lTTJcBERdqR7dA&guests=1&adults=1 Many things are wrong with the place - stains on the towels, cobwebs everywhere, barely any amenities, torn curtains, stains on the bed sheets. The pictures aren't even accurate. The space is very different, and older looking. The two rooms downstairs feel like you're living in the basement. The bathroom downstairs has a linen closet with a joint opening - one inside the bathroom in front of the toilet, the other outside in the hallway. You just push open the closet door inside the bathroom from the hallways and you have a complete view of the toilet... so much for privacy. The bathroom smelled like sewage, turned out the drains were clogged, we called Sea Breeze to send someone out to fix it because it smelled disgusting in the master bedroom due to the issue. It took them 3 hours to send someone and we had to be available in the house... we had to waste 3 hours on our vacation time waiting on the maintenance folks that didn't show up until I called Sea Breeze a second time asking for an update. After I called, they guy showed up in 10 minutes. They forgot about the issue. The biggest concern was in regards to our personal safety and privacy actually. Halfway through our stay random gardeners showed up unannounced in the private backyard area. I contacted Sea Breeze to ask them why we weren't informed people would be showing up and the representative told me "it was at the owner's discretion." Keep in mind Sea Breeze is a property management company, it should not matter what is and isn't at the discretion of the owner, since I'm not renting through the owner. You'd think since Sea Breeze is my point of contact, they'd know it's their responsibility to stay in contact with the owners of the house and provide essential communications to their renters so we're not disturbed or have our privacy violated... that's 100% not the case with this company. The representative I spoke with told me to send an email to the manager then gave me THE INCORRECT EMAIL ADDRESS. I called again to follow-up on the email the next day and was told to send another email to the correct address. They emailed me back and offered $100 dinner voucher if I agreed to their terms: "This refund will be issued to you via check upon agreement of acceptance. Accepting the refund will ensure that you have accepted this compensation as a fair settlement for your inconveniences and therefore will not begin, or continue to, disparage SeaBreeze or the owner of this property on any social media or review site. Additionally, you would be accepting no further action or legal action will result from this settlement. Once we have received your approval, we can proceed with issuing your refund to the mailing address you provide." $100 for my silence about their poor management, customer service, and lack of concern for the safety of their renters. They actually thought this was appropriate. For random men to show up unannounced and invade our private rental space is a violation of our privacy and safety. This was a sisters trip. As females we walk about in our towels and comfortably. We paid a lot of money to rent the entire space to be very comfortable and feel safe. Who would feel safe or comfortable after seeing random men in the private backyard? It defeats the purpose of renting such an expensive private residence if you can't have privacy or safety. Do not rent from these people. Horrible service and the house was lacking amenities listed! I only read the reviews of the house itself and not of the vacation rental property. My mistake. We rented a La Jolla house for 5 nights for a total of about $3500. The house listed capacity for 7 people and had strict quiet hour rules. We were a quiet family vacationing, not a party group at all and followed all rules. Before we even arrived, we were called and told one of the two showers at the house had a safety issue with the glass and could they come to fix it. We said yes. They never came and repaired itleaving us with a safety issue the entire stay. Unfortunately, the other shower had a 4" insect living in the glued on shells on the window ledge. Every time the shower went on, out came the antennas and the big and we were disgusted by it. We arrived to find the hot tub and refrigerator not working. We contacted Seabreeze immediately. They sent someone out for the hot tub that couldn't fix the issue. Later in the stay we learned the previous renters had caused enough problems to the hot tub so it was drained and refilled. They never sent anyone to look at the refrigerator and we purchased ice and kept our food in a cooler. Just like camping, only at a $3500 stay. One of the 3 bedrooms wasn't part of the main house, but a converted garage. The description didn't mention it was a shared a wall with the disgruntled neighbor. This neighbor went into the garage at 5:30am and banged on the walls off and on for an hour, clearly to disturb the sleeper. This same neighbor also sent a photo to Seabreeze saying we were blocking the driveway. Only it wasn't a current picture. The cars weren't even our cars Or in the driveway at that time. They were clearly unhappy the house was a rental and making it difficult for the renter. Ironically, Seabreeze was able to contact us quickly via: text regarding that issue, but didn't respond to us when we asked them for service. The house is lacking amenities for 7 people. It has 1 couch and 1 other chair in the living area. There was 1 wine glass and a total of 5 drinking glasses. We ended up purchasing kitchen items for our time there. There wasn't enough beach chairs ( the listing says beach chairs provided) and those that were rusted, making them unsafe to use. We purchased beach chairs. I could go on and on about the stay, but a lot of other reviewers have covered some of our same issues. We spent a lot of our vacation trying to deal with issues and eventually gave up. I asked for compensation and was told to fill out a form they would send me. I didn't receive the form after contacting them 3 different times. Next step, after writing a bad review, I did finally get contacted and given a form. I was offered $250 from the homeowner and a $250 credit from Seabreeze for a future stay, as long as I didn't post a negative review. Since I never plan to rent from them again, I happily forego the $250 from the owner in hopes to save other people from having my horrible experience with this company. As a property owner living next-door to many of this rental companies properties. They do a very bad job of maintaining the properties for example there is a lack of trash cans which leads to a huge fly problem in the house for the tenant. Please never rent from this Company! We reserved a property for a wedding planned for April 19, 2020 and the wedding was cancelled due to the pandemic. There is now no reason to travel to California, yet we are only receiving a 50 percent refund. Seabreeze apparently has no concern for the population and certainly no empathy for the people going thru the COVID-19 pandemic. This pandemic is a once in a lifetime event and Seabreeze is only concerned about its profits! I am on a crusade to persuade as many people as possible NEVER to rent from Seabreeze. Unfortunately, we had to cancel because the State of California is under a Shelter In Place order due to the Coronavirus. It was NOT our choice to cancel, we are not allowed to travel so we had to. In these unprecedented times for this company to hold us to the refund policy is just completely unprofessional. They did come back after saying they would provide no refund to saying they would provide 50% refund. For what? Again it was not our choice to not travel to this location...it is literally against the law at this current time. They then said we could reschedule our travel dates but it must be used by 2020...who knows if this virus will even be controlled by then - oh, AND we MUST pay the difference in rental rate, should there be one. Avoid at all costs. I rented a cottage in La Jolla Shores for 4 nights and had to check out after 1 night due to disgusting conditions. God knows what mess occurred to the living room couch but it was a mess and looked like they sloppily tried to clean it with bleach or industrial solvent. The photos are inaccurate. When I sent them photos of the couch, which is main furniture in living room, they first said it was fine. Then they sent someone out with a slip cover. No one in their right mind would sit on this couch without a HazMat suit. They acknowledged they knew about the lack of hygiene but blamed the property owner for not fixing it. Please beware of Seabreeze Vacation Rental Properties based in La Jolla, California as they misrepresented a property in Temecula (#4635109) which we paid nearly $800 per night for from January 12-15, 2018 for a very special family 75th birthday celebration. When we arrived we were met with over 20 problems: 1) dead, dismembered animal left in front yard 2) open trash cans full of trash and rainwater at perimeter of house 3) all windows and screens filthy dirty 4) cobwebs and insect nests covering window arches 5) pool and jacuzzi dirty with green algae around the perimeters 6) grounds full of debris and unswept with weathered, dying landscape 7) outside furniture dirty and in poor repair 8) pool remote controls dead and nonfunctional-even after replacing batteries 9) all propane tanks empty so no fire pit, heater, or grill use 10) outdoor entertainment system not working so no TV or speakers for outdoor music 11) no electricity/power in the front part of the house 12) kitchen fridge ice-maker broken 13) HDMI cable not properly hooked so no ability to access to TV, movies even after being told it was functional (by Jesus) 14) front bedroom shutters broken and secured with garbage ties 15) pizza oven not usable because of wet firewood and debris inside 16) kitchen vent hood non functional so smoke filled the area when we tried to cook dinner on the stovetop 17) security system disconnected 18) indoor fireplace malfunctioned due to blocked chimney (we first checked to make sure flue was open and clear) filling rooms with smoke so not able to enjoy a simple fire--not to mention this is HIGHLY DANGEROUS 19) volleyball net shredded so unusable 20) outside fireplace screen broken so unsafe to use 21) advertised horseshoes and pit not even visible 22) mold in showers 23) several bathroom sinks and toilets malfunctioned in multiple ways (leaks, stoppers wouldn't come up so sink could not be emptied, etc) and toilet roll holders pulling away from wall 24) all batteries for electric candles out-had to get new ones 25) dirt and algae in outdoor fountain 26) outdoor lighting broken and laying in yard in places While Jesus (a contracted helper from Seabreeze) came to help us (along with two people from the pool service) in the first few hours, remediating 6 of the 26 items, no one returned, as promised, the next two days. We went from feeling as if we were hostage in this very misrepresented and run-down home, to feeling simply abandoned and discarded by Seabreeze. After the first few hours of upset exchanges, they offered us a full refund to leave, but where do five couples on a holiday weekend find housing together? They had no other property to offer us and the hotels in the area were heavily booked and very expensive because of the holiday weekend. So we were really trapped in this situation and had to stick it out...but we did so with the absolute promise more workmen and repairs would be forthcoming. Now at first, we refused this offer, but then we agreed things were so unusable, that even at the expense of our privacy, we had to agree to have all the workers they could send come as soon as possible. So we gave permission and stayed home the entire next day waiting...and to our shock and dismay, not a soul showed up for the next two days and there was no communication back to us as to why. Even our most basic requests like bringing us dry firewood and butane were completely ignored. So beyond living amidst all the remaining unresolved issues for the remainder of our stay, the greatest impact of this very substandard home was on our ability to enjoy the many activities we had planned on doing together for this celebration. The very reasons we chose to rent THIS home was because of its amenities....NONE OF WHICH WERE AVAILABLE TO USE! The 10 of us were 1) not able to swim in the pool, 2) play volleyball, 3) play horseshoes, 4) have an outdoor fire, 5) have an indoor fire, 6) use the outdoor fire-pit, 7) use the outdoor pizza oven, 8) grill our food outdoors, 9) use the outdoor entertainment unit, 10) get automatic ice, 11) cook on the indoor stovetop, or 12) watch any TV, cable, or movies. Seabreeze took away the opportunity for our family to savor any of these activities and that is simply morally wrong and illegal (false advertising/misrepresentation). We can't get this time or this celebratory occasion back, but we are going to pursue getting a half refund of our money back ($1178.00) while posting our story and this warning on every appropriate vacation rental website out there. I live next door to a Sea Breeze Vacation Rental in La Jolla.It is a revolving door of guests with barely an hour for cleaning in between. It is so poorly maintained. I would be extremely worried during COVID-19 as there is no way they are cleaning and disinfecting well. It must be very unhygienic inside. The exterior is full of weeds. Major hotels offer cleaning to CDC standards this is not the case here. 1 hour to clean a 4 bedroom house! read more

Unprofessional can't send a confirmation and will not answer an email unless you want to cancel your reservation. I had to call twice just to get a copy off the reservation then realized it will not work so I asked if they had something that would work for us or I would have to cancel. They sent back and email with no resolution other then it will cost me $400 to cancel.... for a reservation I had to ask if it was confirmed and it was lest then two weeks old. We rented #339 Endless Summer and it was amazing, clean, and the outdoor space was perfect. The house is a bit older but exceptionally clean. The location could not have been better, a short walk to the beach, and a nice walk to all the restaurants and shops of La Jolla. We walked everywhere and spent the rest of the time on the roof. Hot tub is very nice, beds were comfortable. It was great for 2 couples and could have 2 more if they dont mind the couch. Check-in was easy, was a perfect vacation spot. read more

I stayed in one of their vacation homes for a giant family vacation (20+ people.) Much like all of the other reviews, we felt completely duped based off of the photos and descriptions on their website. The photos were taken years ago and at proper angles to make the place look bigger. Everything in that house needs to be updated. We had issues with everything ... broken beds, no water pressure, bird poop everywhere, wifi not being able to reach the entire house .... and when we called to speak with someone about it we got the run-around. I may not have enough space here to share our incredibly bad experience with SeaBreeze but I will share as much as I can in order to save anyone else from experiencing what we experienced with this host who we dealt with through Airbnb. First off, my family and I have used Airbnb for years and I can honestly say, other than a few hiccups here and there, we have had wonderful vacations in Airbnb properties. This one however, could not have been a worse experience and ruined our family vacation. I reserved a SeaBreeze `beach property in San Clemente California. Paid in full, received confirmation, and then was contacted the following day by Seabreeze informing me that particular property was not available. They apologized and asked me to cancel my reservation and sent me three links to three other properties they host and told me they hoped one of these other properties would work for me. One of the three properties seemed nice so I chose to accept their offer figuring it was an honest mistake on their part, and we still had about three weeks before our vacation time so, no fowl no harm. When I tried to cancel with Airbnb, I was instructed that the host should cancel from their end since it was their mistake. What I learned is, Seabreeze was trying to get me to cancel so they would not be penalized by Airbnb. I refused to cancel and told them I expected them to initiate the cancellation since it was their doing. They ended up cancelling on their end and I received a $179 "inconvenience" credit from Airbnb to book another rental. I booked another Seabreeze property (from one of the links they sent me). I again, paid in full and received the confirmation from Airbnb. I had family flying in from out of state to join us on our vacation and they had already booked their flights so having accommodations was imperative as my home is not large enough to accommodate the amount of family that were to join us on this vacation, hence, the Airbnb rental. Now we had about three weeks until our vacation. Within that time, I had regular communication with "Devon" who is Seabreeze' Airbnb liaison and Devon was good at getting back to me when questions arose regarding some of the amenities and supplies the property offered. There was no reason to question the availability of the property as we had already received our receipt of payment and confirmation email showing this property was paid for and reserved to me. Finally, the first day of our vacation had arrived and my family was in from out of state. We had a check-in time of 4PM. When that time was approaching I logged on to my Airbnb account to find our check-in instructions and code to get in to the property but could not find this information. I called the host, Seabreeze and I spoke with Matt. Matt apologized and said the property was not available and he could find nothing showing this property was reserved to me. Needless to say, I FREAKED OUT! THIS WAS THE DAY OF CHECK-IN! I explained to Matt that the property was surely reserved to me and I forwarded him the proof. Matt put me on hold and tried to find out what was going on but when he came back on the line all he could say was he could not get hold of anyone and kept apologizing for the inconvenience! Matt ended up hanging up on me because I refused to simply accept his apology for the inconvenience and kept insisting we be accommodated with another comparable property, explaining through my tears that I had company that flew in from out of state. He had nothing to offer so he just ended up hanging up on me. Remember, this was Seabreeze property #2 that was pulled out from under me when I already had it reserved. My family and I lost that whole first day of vacation just trying to find another place to stay. I literally got sick to my stomach. I felt so terrible for the family that traveled from out of state as I had to have them sleep on our couch and make shift beds on our living room floor as I was not prepared in the least to have overnight company. Oliver from Seabreeze messaged me the following day, again, apologizing, and sent me one link to another property at a slightly discounted rate for the inconvenience. This property was entirely too small for our party and would not work for us. It was like being sucker punched in the gut and like I told Oliver, entirely too little, too late. The very least we should have been offered was a comparable property or a much better property FOR FREE after all the problems they caused us. I have learned some very valuable lessons from this whole ordeal and I made an official complaint with Airbnb. Seabreeze should no longer be allowed to host on Airbnb. If I would have researched them before hand, I would have learned to stay clear of dealing with them as they have terrible reviews on YELP and I will be adding this one on YELP as well. read more

We found the rental on VRBO and did not know we would be dealing with Seabreeze Vacation Rentals. There is a reason they have you pay the full amount and charge it before confirming your reservation...they know if you find out more you would cancel ASAP. We had a BAIT AND SWITCH experience and were disappointed with their refusal to fix the issue. All the amenities detailed in the ad were not available in the unit. There was FECES on the master floor waiting for us upon our stay. Sadly with how unhelpful they were over the phone and our persistence of wanting the bait and switch resolved (to no avail) we would not be surprised if it was on purpose....to let us know how they view us as a customer...like shit. Worst experience I have ever had! First off, I booked through VRBO and they quoted me a 25% discount, however, when I got the confirmation from Seabreeze by email the 25% discount wasn't there. I called Seabreeze to make sure the 25% discount would be applied and they assured me it was applied. Just so I had written confirmation, I also emailed seabreeze directly confirming the 25% discount. They replied back saying yes they would honor the 25% discount. After my stay I realize the 25% discount was not applied. I emailed them multiple times about this and they consistently said they cannot honor VRBO prices. I understand they don't have to honor VRBO prices but they have to take accountability for the fact that Seabreeze verbally and in writing told me I would get the discount. They said they would still not honor it! Unbelievable! Considering the stay I had, they owe me way more than 25% back. When I got there, I did notice the place was newly renovated and very nice. However, that came at a cost. After telling them that some of the lights flickered in the house they told me I just didn't understand how to use the controls properly. Until one night, all of the power went out. I was there with my one year old son so this was incredibly inconvenience. I called them to let them know and they sent someone out to hook up the fridge to an extension cord to at least have that run but they said they wouldn't be able to do anything else until 10 AM the next day! After they hooked up the fridge, the power went out on that as well. I tried to contact them but there is absolutely no after hours maintenance crew with this company!!!! If you have an emergency past 9 PM, you are going to have to deal with it yourself. We ended up having to leave the apartment and book another hotel. To make up for it they offered me a mid state cleaning. I asked them to book the cleaning for Monday but on Friday in the middle of the day someone just wandered into the apartment while I was not properly dressed. They didn't even knock!!! I told Seabreeze about this and they said that they accidentally got the unit number wrong and it was for another apartment. They reassured me that they did book I made for the time that I requested however the maid actually came 4 hours earlier than they were supposed to! I have never dealt with a company that was so on organized and unprofessional. I am not big on writing reviews but I felt like I had to write this one to try to help other people not make the same mistake I did and book with this company. read more

We had to do laundry and dishes before we even settled in -toilet leaked and when notified no one came out -all outdoor furniture was BROKEN and covered with cushions, really? -not a true rental, someone lives there when its not rented and stores his CRAP in all of the closets so that you can't use them. Nice. -the art - let's just say that if you are into blood and darkness, this place may be for you. We had to take it down because it was so disturbing. It became part of the entertainment--who would find the scary art in their bed next?? and the clincher, -customer service. There literally is none. After I filled out the requisite paperwork for a refund (just for the cleaning, mind you) the manager emailed me with a totally rude and unprofessional response. I threatened to notify the BBB (which is next) and they offered me a 500.00 rebooking credit. It's almost as though they have had to do this before..... Never, never again. read more

VACATION NIGHTMARE at $16,000/week!! We have rented many vacation rental properties over the last 10 years. Seabreeze is the worst vacation rental we have ever experienced. We rented 417 Sea Ridge Drive in San Diego. What we rec'd for their most expensive property was a nightmare. The home looks fantastic in the photos, the sales rep was great but what occurred during that week should never happen to anyone!!! Day 1 We arrived late in the evening so we didn't really get to experience the property until the next morning. We went out to the pool and terrace and the sliding glass door's locks were clearly broken. Day 2 We were awaken by a screaming noise and louding banging above our heads at 5 am. Those wonderful skylights in the pictures, covered in bird poop and seagulls bouncing up and down on them that sounded like someone hammering. As you lay in bed you look up to see the bird poop dripping over the skylight! We opened the master bedroom terrace doors, thinking ok, let's enjoy the Pacific Ocean. Rusty furniture and bird poop all over the terrace and screaming birds attacked us. We decided to explore the house and pool area. The Pacific Ocean is right there and beautiful but what awaited us was bird poop all over the furniture and bird poop and birds floating in the pool. So we thought, ok, we have to deal with this, let's hose it off. A hose was not readily available. I found a bucket and cleaned for an hour only to have them pooping again as fast as I could clean. The electric went out in one section of the house where our guests were staying. We called SeaBreeze and a guy came out only to discover the circuit breakers were in the locked part of the garage. He finally got someone to come out and get the electric working. He also told us that he could not get a locksmith to fix the sliding glass doors which secured the house from the pool area until the following week, when we were gone! A very creepy part of the house. There are several cameras in the high ceilings. Someone is watching you and your guests. Totally creeped us out. DAY 3 - Wake up again early morning to the seagulls screaming, this time it sounded like a fight. We opened up the master terrace sliding doors and there was a dead bird with dripping blood. So disgusting, I can't begin to describe. That night went into the kitchen to start cooking, lights in the kitchen were burnt out except for one, lights above the stove were burnt out. I got my travel flashlight and did my best to cook. We once again called SeaBreeze and they did send someone out to replace bulbs. Day 4 - Same wake up call with the birds. My friend got pooped on by a bird and then the birds started attacking us. We decided to leave the house and go exploring SD. Came back that evening and decided to make dinner on the grill. The last tenant's dinner from week's earlier was still on the dirty grill. It looked like petrified chicken, so disgusting. Day 5 - Late guests arrive and take downstairs bedroom which by the way was only accessible from the bird-pooped pool area. They got settled in and only to find that the rusty sliding door that was their only way in and out of their bedroom was broken. They could not lock so they didn't feel comfortable leaving any valuables in their room. Speaking of valuables, I've never stayed somewhere where you could not lock up your jewelry or other valuables. This place has a safe in the master bedroom, but lo and behold, guests aren't allowed to use. This is the worst place we have ever stayed at. Have I left anything out? Oh yes, where to park. We were told by SeaBreeze that we should park in front of the locked garage. Yes, you guessed it, all 3 cars got tickets because parking in front of the garage in that neighborhood in not allowed. Our small rental cars hung over the sidewalk by a few inches. Also, the neighbors have signs posted that they hate vacation rentals by home owners. It was NOT a welcoming neighborhood. Day 6-7 The birds awoke us every day, pooped everywhere, could not really use the pool area and certainly not the pool where the birds brought their live fish to clean and then regrigitated the fish, the electric went out again in that part of the house where most of our guests were staying. We called SeaBreeze and they told us to write a letter & attach photos, which we did. It took 9 months for them to respond to us and then it was given from one representative to the next. Finally after calling and calling, a girl said she would be on top of it. She sent an email and said birds are part of the habitat of 417 Sea Ridge and never addressed any of the other issues. No partial refund, no reimbursement for our parking tickets, not even an apology. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, FIND ANOTHER RENTAL AGENCY! read more

I would have rated SeaBreeze 0 stars if that was an available option. My 5 siblings and their spouses, ranging in age from 60 to 75, booked a rental home in La Jolla, California for the week of May 2 through Seabreeze Vacation Rentals. The full cost of the rental, slightly over $10,000, was paid in advance, as required. Due to the stay-at-home mandates in California and all 4 states we would be traveling from, as well as the health risk to ourselves, we felt we had to cancel our reunion. Fortunately, most travel related businesses have been very accomodating and have readily issued refunds. However, Seabreeze Vacation Rentals has refused to issue a refund. We are all very unhappy with the total lack of consideration shown by Sea Breeze. We initially contacted SeaBreeze through VRBO and they have been unhelpful in resolving the issue. Neither I nor any of my siblings will use VRBO or Seabreeze in the future and would caution anyone in using their services since the lack of consideration during these exceptional times is certainly an indication of their incredible ambivalence towards their customer. read more
