We rented a place through homeaway. Condo is great! Wall to wall glass looking at the beach. You can hear the waves crashing from your living room and enjoy beautiful sunsets. The complex has parking and a nice pool and hot tub which is not connect to the building. There are a lot of rules which are all reasonable and as young family we appreciated them. Our unit was a two bedroom with one bath. Living room was quite large and bedrooms were on the small side. We did NOT have air conditioning and it was a little too hot for my taste. The condo was about 80 degrees from 4 to 8pm. At night it dropped to about 72 degrees. Too hot for me!

The sublime ocean view took our collective breath away when we opened the door to this well-maintained, spacious condominium. The mirrors on either side of the floor-to-ceiling windows trick the eye into seeing a continuous view of the seas. The building is definitely weathered by the sea, but the location was perfect and the property was secure. When we weren't walking the Pacific Beach boardwalk, sampling the local fare, we building castles and attempting to boogie board with the beach play supplies we discovered tucked into closet. After splashing and freezing in the Pacific, we enjoyed a relaxing soak in the facility's hot tub on an adjacent property. We even took a quick dip in the pool, that was strangely refreshing even though the temperature was only in the mid-50s. At night, we were soothed to sleep by the smell of fresh air and the sounds of crashing ocean waves. We cooked the majority of our meals in the well-stocked kitchen, which definitely saved a lot of money. We ended our stay with celebratory brownies that we baked, while we inhaled our last sunset in San Diego. We were already planning a return visit before we even left. Tip: The laundry detergent dispenser in the garage only takes quarters. We are most grateful to M. Tracy, front-desk security, for his assistance securing a detergent packet. Excellent customer service!

BEST VIEW IN PACIFIC BEACH! These places are privately owned, but there is a property manager that rents out some of the units. Being privately owned the decor from room to room varies. -Walking distance to everything in PB -Beautiful views

For the price and location, this is as good as it gets in San Diego! My aunt and uncle have been staying here about two times a year for nearly 20 years and always had a great stay. We stayed here for 8 nights. The living rooms of the condos face the beach. Waking up and hearing the soft sounds of the waves crashing brought a peacefulness that cannot be beat. Each condo is decorated differently and you can view the available ones on the condos website. All of the kitchens are fully equipped with the standard kitchen appliances, utensils and cookware. This was an added plus for us because we were able to prepare breakfast, snacks and a few other meals at the condo. For meals that we did eat out there were plenty of inexpensive options nearby, some within a couple of blocks. The location is perfect. It is about ten minutes south of La Jolla, 10 minutes to downtown, 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes north of Coronado. We booked directly with the staff at the condo. The rates are a bit higher in the summer but still are cheaper than comparable hotels in the area. Each condo also comes with one parking space in the parking garage. This was a huge plus being that street parking was not always available. And in San Diego you cannot get around so easily without a car. There were a couple groceries in the area which included Trader Joe's and Ralph's. They offer one bedrooms, two bedrooms, and one condo has three bedrooms. Some condos are not rented out and are individually owned. Many of the bedrooms have two beds. It is true that they do not have a cleaning service daily but that is how it is anytime you rent a condo. The toiletries they offer are minimal but we brought all of our own. I do recommend getting a higher condo if the noise of beach goers would be bothersome to you. However, the bedrooms are in the back of the building so you cannot hear any noise from the beach when sleeping in the bedrooms.

So many things to say....first, you are paying for the floor to ceiling views. Simply put. They are great...but please read air b n b and Yelp reviews on unit #704. As a local resident who had a flood, I wanted to move down the block and live here. My insurance was covering the $399 a night charge...ummm however I would never pay $399 a night for popcorn ceilings, florescent lighting, broken shower, broken remotes, broken screen door, no outlets in only bedroom mispainted rooms, no cleaning/cooking supplies (ice cube trays, Britta, plates, etc). Stayed here for fives weeks and the owners tried to charge me with fumigation fees and made up lies. Literally. My experience was similar to those on air b n b and yelp previous reviews). They offer no cleaning supplies... and I asked for a copy of the "extra cleaning" bill, which of course never got (claiming they had to fumigate, which of course never happened. They refused to provide any documentation of the made up charge). Stay here for a weekend. Max. Otherwise spend your $399 at a four star hotel. Don't fall privy to their overcharging to redo a 1970s condo, claiming "you didn't clean". (Defer to air b n b website as well. Totally fraudulent place to stay)!

We just bought a timeshare here and it was the best thing we ever did. We have others as well but the location is amazing. There is plenty to do for the whole family from our 6 month old granddaughter to my husband in his 60's. Everything is within walking distance. Access to the beach is across the boardwalk. A pool, sauna and spa just 300 feet away. Fantastic view from our room but also incredible 360 degree views of the city to the ocean. I understand through other reviews you can rent the units. You will not find a better location. Hands down. Also the security is the best. You can sleep with the sliding glass door open and hear the crashing waves all the way to the bedroom in the back. Posted a picture of the sunset on 2-18-2015. Incredible!

These guys are the best by far. Recently we had a pest control company come out for preventive maintenance on a number of units. The pest control company assured everyone that no special care needed to be taken to protect our belongings from an all-day heat treatment of our units. Well the treatment ended up damaging a lot of property, both belonging to individual tenants like me (shoes, computer monitor, etc.), and also belonging to the property owner (such as warping plastic blinds). I've been working closely with Sean and Laura at Advantage Team to resolve the issue. Sean came out to see all of the damage in person and could not have been more sincerely apologetic and reassuring that I would be made whole. And today, Laura e-mailed me to ask whether I'd like a check or a rent credit for my damaged property. While the liability does seem to lie with the pest control company, Laura said her team would prefer to take care of me now so I don't have to wait, and that they'll pursue the pest control company for reimbursement on their own. Really an above and beyond gesture. My experience with virtually every other management company is that you need to be prepared to go to small claims court to be made whole in a situation like this. So it was a huge relief to realize I would not need to do that. Sean and Laura have been nothing but honest, friendly, and helpful throughout this ordeal. And that's also been my general experience over the last few years they've been managing. I expect to be here a few more years and I really hope these guys are the managers for the rest of that time. But our property is old and of modest quality; it has several quirks. Initially, we went with Cal-Prop b/c of Melissa Kleifgen, one of their V-Ps. She knows about property management AND construction; she has helped coordinate improvements. She is friendly, direct, straightforward, and a solid communicator. She knows when to show her formal side, and when to reveal her sense of humor. Later, we discovered that they have an outstanding handyperson, Dirk. He must have a magic wand in his tool box. He is versatile, resourceful, and adaptable. He does quality work, with an eye to longevity. Example: We wanted to replace a back door at a vacant rental. At a yard sale, we found a gently-used "Hollywood" door. It's the kind that has little windows that you can slide up and down. Although it was too tall and too wide, he trimmed it to fit. It opens and shuts SMOOTHLY. He also notices things that need attention that we have overlooked. For instance, after the appliance company had replaced a gas stove with an electric one, he decided to cap off the gas line so that it could not be opened by accident. Dirk and some others did a fine job fixing up our vacant house. And Melissa and her team found us a pleasant new tenant. All within 27 days of when the former tenants had moved out! And they have been prompt about sending out a variety of people when repairs have been needed. We were nervous, but we didn't need to be. We are relieved.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of service and professionalism provided by this company,…read moreparticularly by my assigned account manager, Angxxxx, Throughout my experience, I found the communication, responsiveness, and handling of my property matters to be unacceptable and below professional standards. My tenant moved out on May 22, 2026. However, I was not notified promptly and only became aware after I contacted the account manager for an update. In addition, I was provided with an incorrect lockbox code, which prevented access to the property. Because this occurred over a weekend when the office was closed and assistance was unavailable, I had no choice but to change the lock in order to access the property and begin necessary repairs. After gaining access, the company proposed charging me more than $8,000 for repairs. I disagreed with the assessment and chose to have my own contrator to complete the necessary work. The repairs were completed properly, and I provided receipts and documentation within the required 21-days period. Based on my understanding, the appropriate charges should have been processed against the tenant's security deposit, but I received no follow-up communication or documentation from the company. Instead, the company refused to return my security deposit funds, claiming the money was being held as a reserve for repairs. This explanation was unreasonable because the property was vacant and I had already paid for the repairs myself. After multiple discussions and continued follow-up, I was finally able to recover the funds that should have been returned to me. Due to these ongoing issues, I terminated the company's management services. Following termination, the company failed to return my spare keys and parking permit. When I requested their return, I was told that no spare keys or parking permit were in their possession. This statement is incorrect. I personally provided the company with the keys and parking permit, and they were responsible for returning all property belonging to me upon termination of services. The overall handling of my account demonstrated poor communication, lack of accountability, and a failure to provide the level of professional service expected from a property management company. I am concerned that my requests were not handled appropriately after I ended the business relationship, and I expect the company to take responsibility for its actions and improve its procedures to prevent similar situations from occurring with other clients.

And this is just what I could see in 20 mins!!! As a dog owner, I knew I couldn't bring my pet to this place without significant repairs to the yard, which was supposed to be the selling point of the apartment. As a tenant, I've experienced firsthand what can only be described as negligence and unprofessionalism. They attempt to charge fees that appear to be unlawful under California tenant protection laws, and there's absolutely no sense of urgency when it comes to critical habitability issues--like being without hot water. After reporting the issue, one plumber came out and claimed a part was needed but never returned. Rather than escalating or sending a different plumber to resolve the issue, nothing was done. I had to reach out multiple times just to get an update. Eventually, I was told the problem was a full water heater replacement--but this wasn't acted on with the urgency required by law. Even more concerning: when I asked why additional help wasn't sent sooner, I was told by someone named Buzz that I didn't know what I was talking about. He literally hung up on me. His dismissive tone and refusal to accept reasonable questions is exactly what's wrong with this company. As a property manager myself, I can confidently say this is not how urgent maintenance or legal compliance should be handled. This wasn't the only issue. It took four separate visits to fix a porch light, with different workers coming each time--none of whom seemed qualified. One even installed a sensor light on a unit that wasn't wired for it. Shore Management is a liability waiting to happen. Their poor hiring standards, lack of professionalism, and disregard for tenant rights make them a terrible choice for both tenants and owners.
