What a great way to see different angle views of False Creek. I've had guests staying over from overseas & they just absolutely loved it. The next time you're at Granville Island & have some extra time to kill, I'd highly recommend doing the round trip from Granville Island & back. It costs about $15 return & it's worth it. A day pass is also available for multiple trips as well - I highly recommend this option if you have a few hours to spare. Pay onboard. Do this during a clear blue sky summer day. If it's cloudy or overcast, don't bother. Staff are friendly & helpful. The seating is comfortable & you can get up to take pictures as you move through False Creek. Like I said I experienced the Aquabus twice this summer & found it so relaxing to be on the water after dinner. Kinda had sea legs after my last trip, when I got back & started walking. LOL. It's a great way to see False Creek along the water. Open daily from 7am till 915pm.

We bought our tickets at the Capital City Station on Douglas Street in Victoria, and Sandy was absolutely wonderful, friendly, helpful, and patient. She even got us seats for October 13, 2025, which was Thanksgiving. Every company needs a Sandy, she deserves 5 stars for her service. Once we boarded the bus, things went downhill. Our driver, James wasn't very approachable. His responses were short, and he came across as a bit grouchy. It was a holiday, so we understand, but as first-time passengers, we found his instructions unclear and he seems to not welcome questions. When the ferry docked at Tsawwassen, we didn't hear it was time to reboard the bus to continue to downtown Vancouver. We missed the announcement and ended up being left behind, but our checked bags and personal items were still in the bus to Vancouver. Thankfully, the staff at Tsawwassen terminal were great. They guided us, called ahead to Pacific Station BC Ferries, and made sure we could retrieve our bags. When we finally reunited with the bus, James didn't seem particularly concerned or empathetic, which made an already stressful situation feel worse. We blame ourselves for missing the bus. But for future improvements, clearer announcements and louder overhead speakers would help first-time travelers. Even a quick name call for missing passengers would go a long way.

When you arrive the check in process is smooth- you pull through a kiosk then wait in line in your car to board the boat. Once on the boat you can hang out in your car, sit inside by a window, visit one of their many dining options or my personal favorite hang out on the upper deck. We booked morning options so it was fun to watch the sun rise (with a coffee from the dining area). We also saw a few whales in the distance. It's pretty hard to tell which direction the ferry is going next though unless you're very familiar with the routes, so make sure you ask the driver just in case. I find that the ones I've interacted with all ask you where you're going before letting you on, so at least I haven't taken the wrong boat yet. They have a zone system for ticketing and at first it was a bit confusing for which zone ticket was needed to go where. But they have nice maps at each stop so it wasn't too hard to decipher after awhile. The boat drivers were also pretty nice and were happy to answer questions about tickets. I took the boats during the Big Picnic event at David Lam park. There were other people on the boat but it was not crowded at all. Boats also came all the time and so we didn't have to wait much before ours came. The boat doors were left open when I rode the boats and so it was really nice to be able to take pictures and videos without obstruction from the windows or clear screens. The creek is relatively calm most of the time and the rides are short, so most people probably won't get sea sick.

I don't think it should be named a "ferry" terminal when it's a CRUISE SHIP TERMINAL. Well, we learned quickly and drove about an hour to this Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal. We didn't have reservations, but luckily we're able to board as "walk-ins". The ride was uneventful. There was a gift shop, cafeteria, and restrooms available. We had brought snacks, so we ate on board. We were able to walk around the outside of the ferry after we parked our car and made a note of what level and what stairway were closest. Overall, it was an alright experience. We know what to do next time!

(I have my reasons so calm down to the people that may huff and puff) Securities walk around multiple times to remind passengers of their mask use. I've seen a captain tell a lady and three kids to kindly put up their masks. It is a transportation so other guest are going to be unruly and others are going to be nice. Weather will vary the travel time so please be patient. They do have reservations in which it guarantees almost 200 vehicles in 1 berth. The first come first unfortunately does not guarantee a vehicle's place on the ferry when it's full. I hope anyone who visits gets to enjoy the ferry! Also watch out for whales they can swim by and not that close.

Rebooked with a 7 hour delay, thus delaying my trip back to Seattle. Employees at the both terminal check-in booths seem miserable and agitated. The car loading process aboard is smooth. The ferry interior has ample seating with great views. There's hot food on board which adds more comfort, but those employees seem to hate their jobs too. The most real ones are just the ones on ground at the (Langdale) terminal responsible for lining up cars in cue to board. From a frustrated parent traveling with a child who has exercised all the patience as much as a toddler can, BC Ferries you suck.

However the officer closed the gate for the amount of seated passenger. I understand they needed for safety but we could see, lots of room to stand inside of boat. Next Seabus was 30 min later. For walk-on, the waiting area is very close to the entrance to the terminal and so you can arrive quite late and still make it on to the ferry. There is a free luggage check-in service from Swartz Bay to Tsawassen that I use all the time. Just weigh the bag, attach a heavy tag if necessary and slide it down the baggage slide! I love it as I don't have to carry luggage onto the ferry. Luggage arriving from Vancouver get put on the carousel outside - it can sometimes take awhile to arrive. From the vehicle side, it's very easy to get on with a ferry reservation. If arriving early enough, there is very little lines to get in and service is very fast. There is a small cafe once in the waiting area to use the washroom and grab snacks. The terminal staff are all very nice and informative. Everything is well labeled so visitors won't get lost. It is also pretty clean considering how many people travel through each day. On holidays and weekends, it can be crowded. There are two bus lines that go to downtown which are very slow and get crowded quickly. Sometimes it won't even be able to fit everyone and people have to wait at least an hour for the next one. There are taxis that typically wait outside the terminal, but there are usually very few so be sure to get outside quickly.

Finding the correct one was the challenge! This is the one to get from Victoria to Vancouver. We didn't have a reservation. We missed the 7pm ferry; paid for the 9pm ferry (2 adults and one undersized vehicle less than 20 feet); and waited to board. We locked the car and used the restroom at the restaurant. There was an announcement that told passengers to get their vehicles ready to board. The process was very organized and the staff waved vehicles into the designated lanes and motioned vehicles to get closer to the car ahead of them. On board, we used the restroom, walked past the cafeteria and restaurant, browsed the gift shop where my niece purchased a magnet, and found seats to wait out the hour and a half trip. Overall, it was a pleasant experience! We probably will do this again some day!

They claimed smoke in the engine room and limped back to port before we even turned into the Arm. Other reviews have reported unexplained itinerary changes that eliminated the main part of the trip. One has to wonder if they don't go up the Arm simply to save money when it's not fully booked or if their boats are that unreliable. While I understand mechanical issues, their compensation policy was completely inadequate. They offered a free drink on board and a coupon for 15% off a future cruise. Anyone booking on the internet can get a 20% discount off any cruise! After much back and forth they finally offered a 20% refund. The final price after this discount was approximately double the price of a narrated harbor tour. We received an un-narrated tour of the container port instead of a tour of the natural environment, which is what we were promised. We feel cheated by Harbour Cruises of Vancouver. Sail at your own risk!
