As a firearms instructor, I often have students asking where they should go after completing their basic training. WBA is one of the first places I mention. I do not receive anything for sending people here. I recommend it because it has been solid every single time I've walked through the door. The retail side is one of the strongest parts of this business. The ProShop is spacious, clean, and well organized with a good flow into the ammunition room. There is always plenty to look at -- firearms, holsters, parts, accessories, and gear. The staff are approachable and willing to answer questions without hovering or trying to push a sale. Ammunition is usually well stocked, including bulk options that many shooters appreciate. White Birch also has a full lineup of training classes taught by their own instructors. While I have not taken their classes personally, it is helpful to know they offer structured training for people who want to continue building skills. The range itself is run very well. It is clean, climate-controlled, and maintained regularly. As an NRA Certified Chief Range Safety Officer with many years of experience on different ranges, I notice the details that matter: attentive and professional RSOs, orderly lanes, backers replaced when needed, and a check-in process that moves quickly. It creates a safe and comfortable environment for both new and experienced shooters. Something worth mentioning is the feedback I hear from my own students. Over the years, plenty of them have reached out after visiting White Birch to tell me how much they liked it, whether they were renting a firearm for the first time, buying gear, or just getting some practice in. And like I stated before you came at me with the Mint Condition value ($15) which it clearly wasn't it was probably worth $7 so the fact that you couldn't give up a few dollars on a book that you most likely paid less then cover price 10 years earlier that's ridiculous all that aside I remember very clearly you saying oh that shouldn't have been in that box that should've been back here (pointing behind you on the wall) ! So your excuse isn't gonna fly ! Either way your a used item store so when you buy something from someone you only pay a price low enough so you can turn around and sell it for a profit right ? So what I'm saying here is let's say you buy an item for $20 and it's worth $40 at the time so $20 profit right ? That's good double your money so why is it so bad for you to just put that $40 on the item and leave it there your still getting the original profit you were originally fine with but your way of thinking is if that item went up $10 YOU need to get that extra $10 instead of letting what could be a loyal customer get a good deal and you still get the profit you intended from the beginning this is what I was trying to express to you in my last review I mean you have MANY items in your store that have been there for YEARS ! When my fiance and I walked up to the door, Karleen had signs to make sure that anyone entering was wearing a mask and was up to date with all COVID-19 precautions. She had a doorbell that we rang, in order to enter. She said that she has an autoimmune disease so she needs to be careful, and I respect the heck out of being careful - especially during this time. Let's talk about the store: It was filled with so many goodies! Karleen and her children made the majority of the items being sold in the store. They are all thoughtfully made and of great quality! I bought two bracelets for some friends for Christmas. I even bought a Darth Vadar keychain for a different friend, and Karleen told me that she had made a matching mask to go with it! How awesome!! She explained that her sons are on the Autism spectrum and how some of the items they sold were to help others who are also autistic. She said she helps families who have autistic children by sharing her experiences, trials, and tribulations. Her sons also work in the store when they aren't attending school via zoom, which helps them learn skills that can take them into adulthood. I think that Karleen is brilliant and between the combination of the goods they make and sell, how she helps others, and how wonderful she was to talk to made for the best experience ever!
