The first order went OK but the second was just a nightmare from a communication standpoint. We had specific measurements we desired and those were not observed (we even put blue tape on the pilings to guide) then the delivery of the product took months over estimated timeframe. Communication for the actual install was abysmal. The owner's son told us a time and that time would just go by with no one showing up at the house. And NO communication on the status of the installers. The first time there was rain on the main land but none on the island so we waited and waited for these guys to show. When they didn't we called them and were told that it was raining so they decided to not install. Let me repeat this, we had to call them. The second try for the same shutter we moved our morning schedule around to accommodate them and, again we waited and waited and waited and finally had to leave. The response from the owner's son was, "well you don't need to be there for install". We had asked specifically to be around. One last thing, for the life of these people they could not get our names correct on any estimate or invoice even after providing corrective feedback. I know that may seem like a small thing but when you pay $5grand for a single panel you sort of want them to get your name correct. (Granted, we were told during our first meeting by the owner that he did not really care if we called him or didn't call him. He had plenty of business and didn't really need ours). There are lots of vendors in the area for shutters so customer service can really give an edge. So, the next shutter I purchase will be with someone else.
