I wanted to go seamlessly through the house so we bought vinyl plank flooring that could go in every room including the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry since they are waterproof. Matt started to work after we agreed on a VERY FAIR rate, better than most installers. He cleaned up the floors where we had removed the nasty carpet in our newly purchased home and then leveled the floors out in the spots that needed it. After a week's work, which every day we came over to see more and more of a dramatic shift from the previous to the new, Matt finished up the work including putting down the shoe molding and edging around the fireplace. Matt's work was excellent and I highly recommend him for any projects. I also really liked that when we made it to my new place, we went through the condo and gave each room a name. So as the crew brought boxes and furniture in, I simply had to tell them which room to put it in. They even helped me assemble the furniture and centered everything. I hired Ted and his crew to unload a 22-foot rental truck in the Charlotte area. On move day, as I had requested, Ted texted me 30 minutes in advance that he was en route. Ted and his 2 helpers, Vlad and Jeremy, showed up on time and started work as soon as I parked and opened the door of the truck. Ted brought all the required equipment (dollies, carts and a handtruck + straps for the mattress) and even provided a battery-operated fan for me to use while I waited on the back of the truck (to keep an eye on all of the stuff), where temperatures in the summer can exceed 100 degrees. That fan kept me cool throughout the move. Ted and his helpers worked very hard for 4 hours to get all of the items into the elevator and up into the apartment. They honored my requests and never once complained about any aspect of the job, including an additional 150-foot walk across the parking garage no one knew about. Everyone was professional, friendly, and very easy to work with. I am happy to report that all items made it safely into the apartment. Ted, Vlad and Jeremy made sure to unwrap all of the items, place them where requested, and to put all of the boxes in the specific room marked on each box. They also re-assembled a table and removed all of the tape from the moving blankets. It was a stress-free experience from start to finish. We hired CertaPro expecting a clean and professional experience, but it was the complete opposite…read more During the estimate, Oswald wore blue shoe covers and gave the impression that they cared about protecting the home. Unfortunately, the actual painting crew did not use shoe covers, did not properly cover our floors, and tracked dirt throughout our house. We have brand new LVP flooring and brand new carpet that was less than a month old, and there were paint spots all over both. I had to scrub paint spots off the floors myself, and there are larger paint stains throughout the carpet. Instead of properly protecting floors, they dragged around a dirty plastic sheet and seemed to only use it when we were visibly watching. There was also paint splattered on our furniture, bathroom vanity, sink faucet, refrigerator, and kitchen countertops. The ceiling edges were painted lazily and unevenly, looking like they only received one rushed coat when more coverage was clearly needed. When it came time for the final walkthrough, they attempted touch-ups using the wrong paint color. When we pointed it out, they claimed it only looked different because it was wet, but once it dried it was obvious it was the wrong color. They also painted our windows shut. They offered to come and fix the issue but I didn't want them dirtying my floors anymore. They left a snack wrapper in my kids room. And sodas on my floor. It really upsets me that these people didn't care about my home. I don't even let my kids eat in the rooms upstairs for them to come and leave trash. And step on my carpets with their dirty shoes going in and out all day when no one in our house even wears shoes inside. The outside of our house was not saved from the mess. There is a puddle of white paint under my pine needles that we just cleaned today and that was the last straw. I was not going to leave a review but it's amazing that after almost a month I keep finding stuff they did wrong, and they also splattered on walls and stairs outside. Too expensive and looks like I painted myself. I even had to do cleaning myself because this crew was too lazy to do it.

After finding my move would be more difficult than expected, (Alec) asked if I would be flexible to reschedule for the following Monday between 8 & 9 am to have a "fresh" team. I agreed. However, he apparently failed to reschedule me at the time HE suggested. He never contacted me to inform me they would not be coming between 8-9 am nor did he inform his team that would be moving me at that time. He instead scheduled them to be at my home that Monday between 11 am and 4 pm, which was not the agreed upon time not to mention was a ridiculous gap of time. I tried to contact him after no one had shown by 9 but, of course (according to Travis) Alec went out of state for the weekend with his family and could not be reached even though he gave me a number to contact him at any time. Travis said he would look into it and try to talk to Alec and get back to me ASAP. I never heard from either of them and still have not. The team ended up getting to my home that Monday by 2:30 pm after having moved another customer which is exactly what Alec said he was preventing by doing the reschedule for the morning. Having said all that, the team that arrived that day did an outstanding job. They were friendly, courteous, worked steadily, hard and very carefully. They were extra careful with the items I mentioned were of great importance to us. I give them 5 stars and would have them move us again without hesitation. The workers were outstanding. The office management could/should definitely learn a thing or two from them. I do recommend them based on the workers but I suggest you speak to someone other than Alec or Travis when scheduling or setting up your move.

I told them about having 3 autistic granddaughters in the home and that the upstairs smelled like a old folks home because of "potty" issues. They asked, like no other movers I've ever used before, the number of items they had to move.... EVEN THE NUMBER OF BOXES! My assumption is that once they reached that # they were either done or would charge us over and above the $243 an hour they quoted. So Saturday morning comes, 3 guys and their moving truck arrive. They want to waste time going through the house as I point out that EVERYTHING IS GOING. They retreat to their truck. After 15 minutes I go out to find out what the hold up is. The driver tells me his boss is trying to call me. I answer his call and he tells me that his guys refuse to do the job because of the smell and we're not even ready for them. There were 4 bedrooms and 2 living room of furniture to load from a 2 story house. The refrigerator and washer & dryer that they sited as not ready to move, took me less than 20 minutes to disconnect!!!! THEY LEFT US HIGH AND DRY!!!!! I'M 65 AND BECAUSE MY 2 SON IN LAWS AND I TO DO THE MOVE OURSELVES, I'M LOOKING AT SURGERY ON MY ALREADY DAMAGED ELBOW THANKS TO ALL MY SONS!!!! The "boss" that called to cancel on us said that they usually don't refund deposits on a cancelation but he would because of the circumstances. WE DIDN'T CANCEL......THEY DID!!!! AND THEY KEPT THE $100 DEPOSIT! DON'T GIVE THESE ASSHOLES THE TIME OF DAY!
