It was not just any pendant I wanted...I wanted something custom made off of a picture I saw on Etsy. They agreed to do it, taking copies of the pictures I wanted, and within a month between a quote and creation, it was completed. It is so stunning I almost cried when I saw it. They bought the gold from the band from me so that brought the cost down of the pendant and then sold a gold chain to me heavily discounted to compliment it. But the jewelry selection is awesome. Locally made, unique, and great quality! I wanted multiple pieces. Randomly found a top on the sale rack I liked, and as I was wearing a skirt at the time I asked the sales lady to find me any sort of jeans or leggings in my size to try on the top with. She miraculously found me the most perfect fitting and comfy jeans ever- as a tall girl, that's a nearly impossible find! Prices were a little lower than retail for that brand, they offer a rewards program, and the employee was so nice. I took my kids up to Pismo Beach for chowder and had to stop by Pier Gifts. There is a huge variety of unique items in addition to Pismo Beach themed souvenirs and beachwear. We picked up some beautiful quilled paper greeting cards, cute stickers, and hoodies when the temperature suddenly dropped. I had to rush out for an appointment before I could look through their seashells. It's a 4 hrs drive to get here so I called when we got back home to see if they could ship some seashells to me. I spoke to Minh who was so helpful in putting together a special package of shells to send me. This is such a quaint little shop that's filled with interesting curios and knicknacks. The staff is super friendly and it's easy to lose track of time when there's so much fun stuff to choose from. I love that my daughters will also have great memories of shopping at Pier Gifts.
