I had previously DIY box-dyed my hair from blonde to a dark brown, which washed out within a month or so, and she brought me back to the dark that I really wanted. I wanted to really love this place, and I thought it would be my new go to. The service is wonderful and the owner is so nice and accommodating! The waxing service was painless and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. The only problem I had and the only reason I will not be coming back is that I ended up with a horrible painful rash/breakout on my neck afterwards. It's been about 2 weeks and it's still there. I'm one of those people who live by reviews so I want to contribute to this business's ratings plus rave about what an awesome job and how great of a stylist Makaylah is! I wanted a cut, putting a priority on my dead/split-end parts of my hair. I expected to go home with dramatically shorter hair and I prepared myself for that because it was that bad. Knowing my concerns, Makaylah immediately knew how much to cut and she explained why, because it is at that point where my hair starts to feel straw-y (the dead/split-end parts). Along with that she also recommended a protein mask ($15) (done during the shampoo part) to add onto my haircut service ($45) as my hair needs protein to help it recover from the dyeing of my hair and all the other heat damage my hair has. She finished off with cutting the split ends that were sticking out along my hair. After the whole thing, my hair was SOFT (and fixed) and she did my front layers perfectly! She was so attentive and literally explained how I get split ends what I can do to prevent them and what products to use and why, especially if I dye my hair--she really knows her stuff. She's like a doctor but for hair. Best haircut ever! Oh! I'm not sure if this is correct but I think each stylist sets their own price so if you want to get a quote, make sure you keep that in mind! read more

Updating as I've tried their new airbrush spray tanning service. Once again, Kasey knocked it out of the park. She custom mixed a color for me that was completely gorgeous for my skintone (I have yellow undertones so it's tough to get nice color). No orange for me! The application was perfect and even. It was a great shade and lasted SO much longer than any other airbrush I've gotten. It was a week and a half ago and it only started fading a few days ago - everyone thinks I'm so tan from a few days in Cabo ;) Kasey is super professional and easy-going. I had my back sugar waxed by one of the Sugarist/Estheticans there name Jeannie. I'd had my back waxed before and decided to give this place a try. Unfortunately, I won't be back. I feel it's very female driven, which is great, but first off, the service I received was priced at $65 on the website and I was charged $75. Another thing, when I've had this done before, my full shoulders were waxed as well, making it look natural. The job looked incomplete. Beyond that, Jeannie made me feel uncomfortable, a difficult feet, as she chose to continually chat about very judgmental topics throughout the process rather than keeping things lighthearted or just relaxing with music. If this establishment receives other male clients, I would suggest a better esthetican that knows how to work well with men and an update on your website if pricing has changed. read more

I bought a Groupon to get my hair cut by Ashly. Initially, it was kind of a mess. I called her and left her a message. She texted back to make an appt. I showed up at the appointed time, but Ashly was not there. I was told by another woman that she had just stepped out and would be back shortly. 15 minutes later, the lady returned to tell me she doesn't know where Ashly is, but is sure she'll be back soon. I texted Ashly with no response. After having waited for 35 minutes, I finally gave up and left. A few minutes later, Ashly texts to inform me that she was actually at a memorial and her friend had passed the day I made the appt so she forgot to put it on her calendar. Ok, understandable. We make another appt via phone. The day before my appt, I thought about texting her to confirm, but didn't want to seem petty. The day of the appt, I was stuck in traffic and I texted her to inform her I'd be a little late. She called immediately to tell me that she wasn't working that week because her son was on break from school. So I turned back around and headed home. You'd think after two misses, I'd just return my Groupon, but Ashly had great reviews so I really wanted to check her out. I made another appt, confirmed it with her the day before, and actually got my hair cut! She even offered me a free cut to make up for the two missed appointments. Even after all that, I thought Ashly did a great job cutting my hair. She added more layers to frame my face more and I thought it looked nice. read more

Unfortunately missed my appointment and Ashley never again responded to my attempts to set up an appointment or at least to see if she would accept my voucher or not so I could look for someone else.
