I have been dragging my feet on doing our siding project for several years now. Finally my wife got tired of me procrastinating, and picked up the phone herself, and scheduled an estimate. The first company we had out was a guy that was in the phone book. (I know who uses phone books any more? That's my beautiful, technologically challenged wife.) He came by one day when I was at work and measured our house and left a price. His estimate literally said this: "Install Vinyl siding on whole house $21,000" So logically, I had questions. What did this all include? I called the guy and he explained further into detail of how he would install the siding. It was extremely simple. I even thought to myself, "Heck, I could do this!" One question bugged me though, why is the price so high? Maybe I should get a second opinion? So I called 8 more siding companies the next day, LOL! Mostly the reason why I called so many is because the companies said they wouldn't just stop by my house while I was at work and leave me a price. They needed to show both my wife and I all the options to give us a price. At first I thought this was ridiculous... Then I got schooled. My wife and I met Corey from Continental in their showroom, so we could see the siding in person and in much greater detail. After he explained the way Continental installs siding, I was left totally blown away about how much more sophisticated and advanced they were than the other guy I had talked to. I received a world class education on siding installation and all the options that were available. I say all the above to say this: I went through 7 other grueling estimates with siding salespeople after that. We called Corey as soon as the last guy left and ordered our siding. We have zero doubt that we made the best possible choice hands down when it came to siding. Our siding installers became our family when the project went on, they were true craftsman and kept their work area really clean. The final product has now made us the best looking house in the neighborhood. As a side benefit to our beautiful house, our energy bills are a lot lower. After 27 years, we finally decided that we could finally update our house with siding and windows. We had always said we would get Continental Siding to do it. Jerry O'Neal always projected the image that he had great employees and an even better product. Raul and his crew came out and did our windows. Was suppose to take a day and a half. Only took them one day and they didn't even take a lunch. I asked if I could fix them lunch, they said not until we're finished. I told them to let me know when they had about 30 minutes left, they probably though they had to humor the fat old lady, but I told them my windows were F***ING AWESOME! Richard came in and he was supposed to have a crew and one quit do to the heat. His other helper was on vacation and for a majority of the project, he was working alone. Tore the old stuff down and put the new product up almost entirely by himself. Got on to him for not wearing a hat because it was to hot and the next day he had one on. We wanted to make sure they had plenty of water. We gave them the remote to the garage so they could get water. They were very trustworthy. I thought Richard should have gotten extra money since he did so much by himself. He deserved a big bonus! The siding on my house looks just a F***ING AWESOME as my windows. My Polymer Siding job was completed on March 5, 2015. The installation crew assigned to this task, Rahul and his assistant have been complete professionals. My house looks like it is new, and the look is beautiful. I will have my insurance company come over, and provide me with an appraisal. I believe that the value of our home will appreciate by 30%. This crew has been professional, on time, cleaned up before they left each day, and trustworthy. We have often left our home with the crew working because we have developed a trust relationship that let me know they would not skip or leave out any needed materials. The work was done thoroughly and with dedication. Not only was our installer competent in their work, they had a level of pride in their work that you do not see in contractors. We have had work done on our home before, and past workers have been interested in getting paid and leaving with a less than desirable product. I cannot wait until they complete the deck! We have had less than desirable weather-even so, the crew showed up and worked on our siding every day. Not only have this crew been competent in their work, they are proud artists. We looked at all of the available products and companies out there, as this was a decision that would impact our home for many years to come. We looked at the polymer siding versus the wood, vinyl, and aluminum products on the market. We read customer review after customer review to learn about products, installation methods, and overall company perceptions. When we were done, there was really only one choice, and that was Continental Siding. The polymer siding from Continental is truly a premier product, that is made to stand up to our Midwestern weather. More than anything else though, their installation techniques are what differentiates them from everyone else. From an additional home wrap, to the insulation layer and even the tracks that helps fasten the panels to the home, each step is very well thought out and executed. We were able to watch it happen, and the installation was fantastic! We do not normally do reviews but felt this one was important. You may find less expensive products and installations out there, but in our opinion, you will not find anything better. We have noticed a great difference in the temperature of our daughters room upstairs. It used to be cold all the time and now it's fair temperature. We also noticed a huge difference in the amount of noise we hear inside our home since replacing our siding. Tristan gave us a lot of information with the samples he had. He was very knowledgeable and personal which was part of the reason we chose to go with the company. He had many options to show us and he showed us how everything worked during the installation. The warranty was also a huge selling part for us because of the no maintenance and the transferable warranty. Delfino was also very great. He communicated very well and made sure our concerns were addressed. I was very surprised by the attention to detail around the outlets, water spickets, and the utility boxes. They were very tedious. We've had neighbors pulling in asking us who was doing our work, even the mailman! It looks like a totally different house. The price was a little high but the insulation, initial estimate appointment, and all the perks made it very worth it. 1 out of 5 very bad do not recommend. Where do I start with this company? For the price I paid for my siding, my friend in Centralia was able to get new siding, new windows, and a new porch added to her very similarly sized home. What might possibly make this okay would be a different in quality. Guess who's siding is starting to fall off her house after just over a year. Yes, that would be me who paid 20,000 dollars for siding alone. We have been contacting the company for 3 months now to try and get it fixed. They were going to send somebody out, and after never hearing back we called again and found out the guy they were going to send got covid. This was over 3 weeks ago. (Very sad for him and praying for his recovery) That being said for such a large company you can't tell me there isn't somebody else they could send to repair the piece of siding that is flapping around in the wind keeping myself, my two year old, and my four month old thought the night. Do your research before settling with this company who clearly cares more about their bottom line than their customers. Don't make the same mistake we did. -signed one exhausted family. read more

While Continental was not the lowest cost supplier, the quality of the siding and its method of installation was superb and state of the art. The installation track does a super job of allowing the siding to expand and contract as temperature changes which prevents the siding from buckling as it expands The insulation that is installed behind the siding not only provides a firm backup to the siding itself, but also has enhanced the overall insulating values of out house. We have already seen a drastic drop in our heating bills even with an extremely cold period this winter. As an engineer, I am very concerned with detail. The installation crew was truly dedicated to their craft and did a very good job with close attention to detail in areas that even I missed. Everyone we have come in contact with through the Continental family has been very pleasant and eager to please. Their warranty is also best of class! My experience with continental siding was one of those once in a lifetime experiences where everything went right from the start. Shawn was the sales rep and he was very straight forward, with me. He was well educated on the products which was reflected on the whole installation process. He was very truthful and honest. The product has been on my home since 2019 and I have had no problems whatsoever. The communication between everyone at continental and myself between questions and concerns was fantastic. The crew was very friendly, knowledgeable and hard workers. They worked hard out here in the heat and i never had a mess in my yard after they left. They supplied everything they needed,even their own water. I watched them do some of the install and from what I know, everything went perfect. All the nails and materials were picked up after they were done. I've had my neighbors compliment and ask who did the work on my home. We had shopped around quite a bit before we decided to go with Continental Siding, mainly because of the appearance with the seamless siding and the quality of the materials. We were also impressed by the patented installation process that allows for expansion and contraction of the siding. The preparation of the house prior to the actual installation was over and above the competitors. We liked the added insulation value to our home with the styrofoam backing that formed to the exterior siding and also provided additional support. As the project began we were impressed by the professionalism of the installation crew and their willingness to listen to any concerns that we may of had, which were always resolved. We originally had our home sided 14 years ago by Continental siding and they did an outstanding job. When we decided to have an addition done to our home, we knew definitely we would have Continental Siding to do the siding for this also. We had a few bumps in the road at first, but the customer service we received went above and beyond and far exceeded our expectations. Continental Siding did an amazing job on our home, from working with the sales team as well as the scheduling and install team. The installation team deserves a huge shout out because of their attention to detail as well as making suggestions about how certain trim areas would look better if done a certain way. Steve came up and visited us after we gave him a call. My husbands sisters used Continental Siding and we enjoyed how it turned out on their home. I enjoy the new siding on my home. The wind doesn't come through like it did before. I had a few things that needed repaired a month after the install but the guys came out and fixed everything right away. The crew was very great. I actually donated some warmer clothes when we had a super cold day. They always listened to my questions, suggestions, and concerns. Our original contact with a salesman who thoroughly explained Continental's product and process started us off on a great path. We did visit the showroom in Independence, MO and were further impressed with the visual of the siding including the Coastal Sage color we'd chosen. Corey, the Office Manager came to my home and looked at the repair needed to be done and set up a date to do the work. Everything went very smooth. The installers did a very good job and got done in a timely manner. We had a positive experience with the company. The house looks so much better! When the salesman came, he helped us pick out a color we liked and one that would look good on our home.
