My extraction was just unreal - honestly, I did not even realize she had pulled the tooth, which was a second molar on the top. She gave me novocaine because she didn't anticipate any issues and explained with general anesthesia it would cost a lot more. I'm grateful for her honesty. On top of the painless extraction I had minimal bleeding (I mean, I did not even need any gauze beyond the piece they had put in my mouth after the extraction!). I also had four implants done by Dr. Overbeck with little to no discomfort AT ALL and again, minimal bleeding beyond the surgical procedure. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking oral surgery treatment. There is another female oral surgeon in this county who is barbaric, by the way. I won't post her name here, but trust me -- stick with Dr. Overbeck!!

Dr. Scott had her own practice in Port Charlotte but sold it and was about to retire when Dr. Kaufman asked if she might help out once or twice a week. If you should get Dr. Scott do not worry. I just had a local for the procedure and once my mouth was numb, Dr. Scott extracted the cracked tooth in under a minute and then completed a suture and I was ready to go. Of course, I was placed on an antibiotic as Dr. Scott determined I had a slight infection. It has been five days and the gum area has healed up and I feel fine. Should you find you too have Dr. Scott. don't worry as you are in good hands. Plus Dr. Scott is very personable and has a good sense of humor.

That I had a knee replacement then didn't matter because Dr. Carbone focused on the dentistry; he was even sorrier about the root canal than I. Although it wasn't yet three years old I guess they don't expect dentures to last more than three years. It would cost me anywhere from $900 to $1700. 00. I also had the top two teeth separate from the base. The office told me it would coat $175. Per tooth plus the cost of the visit. I would expect the dental practice would stand by the patient and make the lab accountable. And no, I was told, I cannot see Dr. Dorciak. I can come to the office for a fitting. I refuse to give Dr. Dorciak's practice another penny and many more months of my time to have the bridge repaired. I went to another practice. Within two weeks and two trips my bottom bridge was made. They fit perfectly. I went one time had the impression taken and one time to pick the bridge up. Dr. Oyola was calm, highly skilled, and extremely thorough throughout the process. She took the time to carefully evaluate the tooth and explained what she was seeing as she worked. It was clear that she was using advanced imaging and microscopic techniques to locate and treat all of the canals -- even a very small, curved one that could easily have been missed. The office itself is modern, spotless, and very well-run. The staff were professional, kind, and efficient from start to finish, especially given that this was an urgent add-on appointment. While no one looks forward to needing a root canal, I felt confident I was in expert hands the entire time. I'm very grateful they were able to accommodate me so quickly and provide excellent care when I needed it most. Highly recommend Dr. Oyola and her team.
