My whole family has been going to Dr. Hale's office for several years. We all loved Dr. Hale, the office manager, and techs. Fast forward to our first cleanings with a quick exam from Dr. Perez, the new dentist. My poor daughter went in for a cleaning and was told that since her last cleaning she had 9, yes 9 cavities plus needed all her wisdom teeth out. That the wisdom teeth had to be x-rayed first with this special 3D machine that is not covered by insurance. So it would cost an additional 300+ dollars. Now mind you, all her visits before this no unusual amount of dental work needed, no pain from any teeth, and her wisdom teeth are not crowded or impacted. We reluctantly agreed to do some of the cavities. She had 5 done one day. That was extreme for sure, especially since it took almost 3 hours because the doctor kept leaving the room to deal with other patients. Fast forward to 4 days later and my daughter was in so much pain from one of the teeth that got filled, she contemplated an ER visit. We called the office and they got her back in right away. The doctor determined that one of the teeth she worked on needed a root canal now and referred us out. She said her tooth was not infected but will become infected if root canal not done. So we went to another dentist for a second opinion. Needless to say she does not need a root canal and is on antibiotics for what appears to be a sinus infection. Again, the staff and techs are all great. However, in my opinion that really doesn't matter if a patient has no confidence in the new dentist. Luckily, we found a dentist that we personally have more confidence in. read more

Fact: I was a patient of Dr. Hale Fact: Perez is the new dentist Fact: I went in on May 29, 2024 for a cleaning with Myra who is very good, gentle and thorough. An appointment that was scheduled at my last visit with Dr. Hale. I had and still have no pain or discomfort anywhere in my mouth. I felt good about my teeth! Fact: Perez did a brief exam and told me all 7 of my crowns needed to be replaced. SEVEN that's pretty much all of them. I asked why, she said that they were old and could become infected. All SEVEN! I simply do not believe this. I felt traumatized I am afraid to go to the dentist now. I totally trusted Dr Hale and his staff. Dr. Hale never say anything about this and I believed he said I was doing really good on my last visit. It has been a month now since my visit to Total Dentistry. Still have no pain or discomfort. Gums are healthy pink and not bleeding. Of course now I have to wait to go to another Dentist because she charged my insurance. This is a revised version of this review. I was threatened with a law suit but I believe in the freedom of speech. I'll kept you all posted on when and if my seven crowns become infected and need to be replaced. STOP THE DENTIST INDUSTRY FROM UNNECESSARY WORK ON YOUR TEETH! Look it up, its a thing... read more

I had a wonderful experience at Total Dentistry! They made me feel welcome and at ease I tend to have high anxiety going to a new dentist. Dr. Hale and his beautiful wife greeted me along with the staff I was seen before my appointment time which was nice.
