The wagyu had this terrible sauce. Would not recommend. Definitely a huge disappointment and a waste of quality beef.

My sister's medium boneless ribeye came out more rare than my medium rare and she finally had to settle for ribs! Which were actually edible. Biggest problem was the cutlery! The serrated steak knives were so dull and bent, you couldn't even cut a tender steak if you got one. If you can't even give your customers a decent knife, don't complain when they send back a steak. I give the manager credit for apologizing and doing what she could but Expats beware. If you're craving a good steak, save your $ and go to Wolfgang's. I understand that things are different here in the PI. I'm amazed that there is so much variety among restaurants. But it is not the fault of the locals when the restaurant company gives them cheap tools and products just to cut costs! Bad cooking is something else, though. A horrible experience at a Mesa restaurant actually made my wife go back in the kitchen and show the chef in training how to make adobo! Overall, I love the PI and the local cuisine. I think I'll stick to the chain restaurants that I know for certain are consistent.

But I still do have a social life you know, which is why I'm thankful to have friends who understand when I'm down and broke. When this happens, Chili's is the obvious choice. Not for their great tasting burgers, not for their quesadillas and not even for their mojitos. Chili's is the obvious choice for their unlimited nachos! Unlimited nachos is actually the best thing ever. I remember there was a time when my dinner group of 4 ordered just that and nothing else. We stayed there for more than 3 hours while we happily downed cold water for drinks. Nothing can really get in the way of saving for that adorable bag, so thank god for unlimited nachos. For good old American food, Chili's is always the best choice.

This restaurant also has a nice interior with its Southwestern theme. It's not everyday that you get a taste of Southwestern food here in the Philippines. Everytime I go here for lunch with my friends or family, I end up ordering their bottomless Tostada chips served with their tasty and flavorful house-made salsa. For additional dips, you can pay for their Ranch dressing and Queso. For my main course, I often have their Grilled Chicken Sandwich, which has crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, and their to-die-for honey mustard dressing. If you want something sweet after the main course, you can have their Molten Chocolate Cake, which is shaped just like a volcano. A look of this delectably delicious cake would make you drool. It might be a little bit pricey for some of us, but sometimes you have to pay money for good food!

The sauce is also quite different from the other sauces I've tried (in a good way). Slightly sweet and not overwhelming, you can add as many sauce as you like without affecting the flavor of the ribs. Each serving of ribs is good for two to three people. Their sampler consisting of bacon and cheese potato skins, fried cheese, and buffalo wings, all with dips offers variety without the steep price. A good choice if you want to try multiple dishes in smaller quantities. Their chocolate milkshake is also not bad. Will definitely try the huuuuge Milky Way Shake on my next visit!

It's like a dream house! We arrived late, prolly around 9pm, but the place was still abuzz with diners: families, friends, colleagues, etc. We tried a variety of savory dishes namely bacon & cheese potato skins, fried cheese, buffalo wings, the Count of Monte Cristo sandwich, and Brian's ribs. The first 3 are their best-selling appetizers, and I totally understand why. Even without their respective dips/sauces, they tasted great, especially the wings & potato skins! It was my first time to encounter a Monte Cristo sandwich, which has turkey, ham, and American cheese. They are inside battered and fried white bread, dusted with powdered sugar and best eaten with raspberry jam. I'm kind of torn about this because it's so sinfully good! I find the battered bread a bit thick, though. Finally, the ribs were tender and seasoned just right. They came with peppery mashed potatoes and corn-carrots (these were kind of salty instead of buttery, though). For our drinks, we had 4 kinds of milkshakes: chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and the mother of them all - the humongous Milky Way! I love how thick the whipped cream was, it's like cake icing already! The Milky Way is meant for 3-4 people or 1 chocolate addict. We continued our sugar rush with matcha ice cream cake, Bliss o' Berry cheesecake, and macchiato (?) ice cream cake. My favorite's the matcha because hey, it's matcha!!! A close second is the berry cheesecake, which has a subtle citrus-y flavor that doesn't taste like medicine. Coffee lovers would enjoy the macchiato ice cream cake for sure. Overall, it was such a great experience, accompanied by great ambiance and awesome company. Can't wait to go back with other friends! :D I have my eyes on their burgers and pastas!

It took a…read morewhile for me to find it but the reward of eating breakfast food on a hot Thursday afternoon was all I could ever ask for. It was easy to pick out your desired breakfast dish among the menu. There's at least one from each country tagged as Flavors From Around The World. There's French, American, Norwegian and Swiss! And of course, how could we forget about our Filipino favourites? There's arroz caldo, tapa, longganisa and bangus among those that you could choose from. And don't forget to try out their champorado (P180)! I'm a sucker for champorado so it was a treat to have their own take with it adding kesong puti and gourmet tuyo in the mix! A lot of the food they serve are around the P180-P250 range. The only pricey dish on their menu was their Swiss breakfast dish at P410. It comes with Crispy Potato Rosti and Smoked Salmon. You can also enjoy your breakfast food at any time of the day with beer! I know. I know. A bit odd for some but those two B's sure know how to knock your socks off. I want to come back one of these days just to try out the other selections. I've only tried two so far! It's not that far from where I work so it's easier to pop in every now and then. The road constructions along Hoover and Argonne (and the ones near Guevarra's) might throw you off though. Waze wasn't a huge help either but if you see an auto-detailing shop at the corner of Hoover and Argonne, you're on the right track. It's right beside it and Toast's very New York loft exterior won't be hard to miss anymore!

Limited lang yung parking slots (3 or 4 na sasakyan lang ata) and it's a little bit pricey for me (yung rice around P40-P50 na).
