After 2nd cleaning. 18 month old, this soiling looks the same as it did prior to 1st cleaning.

Scheduled with Sears Carpet Cleaning, should have checked reviews first. The technicians fired up the machine in their van before they'd even brought out their hoses, because their bosses can see how long their machine runs for. They were actively cleaning the carpets for a little under 17 minutes, I know this because as soon as I finished showing them the rooms, I made a phone call that I ended when I saw the younger tech rolling up their hoses. Now, I've watched other companies clean carpets before. For the 600 sq ft I had to clean, they should have been actively treating, steaming, or sucking water out of the carpets for upwards of an hour at minimum. I questioned the quality of the work in one room, the lead technician told me it was due to the type of pad beneath the carpet, and brushed me off. When I was able to walk on the carpet only 45 minutes later and they were completely dry, I realized that I was ripped off. I had to argue with the supervisor in charge of scheduling to get them out the day after because I had to hand over the keys to the property the following evening. They finally came back out, and did a slightly better job, this time only working on the one room for 17 minutes, I used a stop watch on this job, but it still looked like not much had been done, but at that point, I didn't have another option but to hand over the keys to the landlord. Now I'm out the over $100 to this subpar service, and the landlord withheld $150 from my deposit to hire another company, and, surprise, the carpets look magnificent again. Still shaking my head at the "pad is too thick" excuse. The techs just didn't want to do a good job. Thanks for a subpar job that ended up costing me $250, plus about 6 hours of travel time to and from my old residence. Wish I'd just called ZeroRez or Stanley Steemer like I definitely will in the future.

Just had 4 bedroom carpets "cleaned" today. Wish I would have asked them what their definition of clean is prior to hiring them. We have 1yr old stain master carpet, that now looks like it's been in a kindergarten classroom for 10years. Thank god I made sure to take time stamped before pictures of each room prior to Sears arriving. Tech arrived, was chatty and friendly. I walked him to each room and pointed out a 2 spots of dried milk in my toddlers room, a dirty area where my teenagers computer chair was, and two noticeably dirty entryways in bedrooms, and a few dog spots in the master. I also informed him that we had stainmaster carpet and specifically asked if there needed to be anything specifically done for that brand. He said "no". He then told me "this (carpet cleaning) will work since your carpet is white it will come up nice. So I let him do his job without interruption. When it was competed I was told inspect the carpet from the doorways, to not step on the wet carpet. I told him it looks worse and some areas that didn't look dirty before now do. He said "it's because it's wet" and "it will get lighter as the darker dries". I was then told I had to sign inspection forms stating I verified the carpet looks good and he couldn't leave unless I did. I will be calling sears in the morning. Until then view my pictures and hire them at your own risk. Update: Tylor and Francis arrived the following day to "fix" the previous days cleaning. Tylor is the trainer who claimed it was an issue with the pre-treatment. He said he did as best as he could and that I could have picked the dried milk spots with my fingers... why when I paid your company to remove them? Is our carpet any better than the previous day, debatable. It's not smeared brown all over like it was the previous day, but areas that were originally clean (prior to hiring this company) due to furniture over it are still slightly brown. The biggest issue now is there is awful streaks throughout the carpets in every room. I can only wonder if this is due the carpet feeling crunchy from not being properly cleaned or rinsed after the first "cleaning"

This is a redemption and praise report regarding Daniel. Daniel returned to guarantee the customer satisfaction. Upon completion of my carpet and tile cleaning, I am 100% satisfied and I will highly recommend him. We will continue to be a Sears customer because Daniel and Travis (GM) stands behind their work with pride. Thank you both for the awesome customer service. We sold our home within two hours of being on the market due to the excellent work you provided.

If you have wool carpets or wool throw rugs, this is your go-to company. The vast majority of professional carpet cleaners in the valley wont even attempt cleaning wool because of the liability. I had the nylon carpet in the basement, stairs, children's rooms, hallway, and office cleaned. Additionally, three wool throw carpets were cleaned. Finally, our wall to wall wool carpet in the master was cleaned. That was the carpet I am always very concerned about. Having used Sears at least five times, I knew I would not have to micro manage the team. Chris and Leslie arrived promptly as per the time window, and I did receive a courtesy call 15 minutes ahead. Their equipment was clean and the various hoses did not leak. Other carpet cleaners have leaked water on my hardwood floors, a big no-no. They placed foam pads under the furniture where appropriate and used wall protection. (See photo) They took their time, did not use shortcuts, and were hustling and sweating the entire time. All the carpets turned out fabulous. I highly recommend.

I strongly urge you to NOT use this company to "clean" your carpet(s). The tech was nice, and I want to be clear - I have no issues with the tech. I had my carpets cleaned my carpet because I have doggies. Prior to the cleaning, the tech and I walked around with a blacklight to identify the doggie stains. In addition to the doggie stains, I also had a "ware path" in the living room and down the hallway. The areas I had cleaned were the master closet, the hallway, and the living room (which is actually a great room). When the tech was finished cleaning (6/10/20), the living room did not have the standard "clean paths"; the "ware path" did not look cleaned. The tech did tell me "I did my best", which I thought was odd, but the carpet appeared to be cleaner than it was prior to the cleaning. He told me it could take up to eight hours to dry, but the usual time is between three and four hour; and if I turn down the AC (to make it colder) that would help with the dry-time. As I walked on the carpet to get to my office, the carpet was wet - wetter than other times I had my carpets cleaned, so I placed fans in the hallway, and in the living room to help with the drying. The carpet was still damp in several places when I went to bed about 9:30 pm; the cleaning was finished around 10:00 am. Prior to going to bed, I took my own blacklight to check if the doggie stains were gone. They were lighter, but still there. The next morning, I used my brand-new (never been used) Bissell carpet cleaner to clean the areas that had the doggie stains. I was surprised that the water from those areas was dirty - like the carpets have not been cleaned in a year or so...it had been less than 24 hours since the areas were cleaned - by a professional cleaning company. I sent Sears Carpet and Air Duct Cleaning an email June 11, 2020 - the day after their cleaning. After not receiving any communication from Sears, I called them June 13, 2020 and spoke with Mary. She was kind and really seemed to want to help. I found out the email address I used was typed incorrectly by me; once that was figured out, I was able to successfully send my email along with pictures and Mary confirmed receipt of the email. During my conversation with Mary, I explained to her that I would need help moving the furniture because my helpers (from the first furniture move) were not available to help me. She told me Sears would send out two techs to help with the furniture move - so we rescheduled to have them out June 16, 2020. Yay!! I was going to have them come and redo the cleaning. The morning of June 16, 2020, I received a text stating the technician was on his way; when I saw it was the same tech from the first "cleaning", I immediately called Sears. I told the gentleman who answered the phone I did not want the same tech as the last time because the carpet wasn't cleaned the first time and I did not want Sears out a third time (yes, third because I was not convinced the tech would do it to my satisfaction the second time). He told me he could have techs out sometime in the afternoon. I agreed to that; I also agreed to hearing from a manager by the end of the business day. A manager (Theresa sp??) called me back and we discussed what was told to me. She said that due to COVID-19, they were sending out only one tech; that her "...carpets were cleaned by {same tech - leaving out his name to protect him} three weeks ago and he did a wonderful job; carpet was dried in three-and-a-half hours..."; she also said that I did not ask for the sanitizing spray. I was not offered a sanitizing spray, but rather an enzyme spray. I told her I had pictures of dirty water from some of the exact same places that were allegedly cleaned the day. She did not address the pictures but went on to defend the cleaning. I told her "This is what's going to happen. I will either have two techs out to move the furniture and reclean the carpet. Or, want my $98 refunded." She told me she would talk to her supervisor and that he would call me back by the end of the business day. I asked his name and she said it was "Will _______" - I do not remember the last name. That was a Tuesday, by the end of the day on Friday of that same week, I still had not heard from Will. Additionally, the original tech showed up (6/16/20) to clean my carpet AFTER I let Sears know I did not want him to return; obviously either Sears did not inform him, or Sears thought they would send him anyway and that I would allow him to enter my home to redo his job. I did not allow him to enter my home. I sent one more email giving them until noon, Monday, June 22, 2020 to contact me or I would escalate to a myriad of agencies and consumer helpers. Because you are reading this review, they did not return my call. I may not receive a refund, but I will utilize every outlet possible to share my experience with Sears Carpet and Air Duct Cleaning. Pics are a redo of livingroom.

This is the patch job Sears will do if they come for a dryer cleaning and claim you have a clog. Your walls will never be the same.

Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

I asked him to let me know when he was on his way so I could notify her. Not only did he do that, but he notified me again before he knocked on the door to make sure he wasn't waking her up! The cleaning was textbook; he cleared the lint the size of a ball from the vent, did NO upselling, charged exactly what I was quoted and was done quickly. And my clothes now dry on the first load! I just bought this house so I'm sure they haven't been cleaned in ages (if ever), but King Air Duct Cleaning got us rolling again quickly! Thank you-would highly recommend!
