Monday 04-14-25 Sergio came out to diagnose the fridge. Said it needed a compressor. Previous technicians ordered parts to come to the house and one said the compressor was for the stove which the stove was already repaired. Another technician said it was a compressor for the fridge and previous technician did not want to do their job. Said I only needed a replacement for two ice makers; one located top of fridge and other in the bottom freezer. Asked technician, well why food is not freezing, said did not know. Said will order parts for ice makers and will do a temporary fix for top ice maker. Never worked. Sergio explained everything to me and told me what he was about to tell me, he would tell this to his mom. Get with LG since I still have a warranty before paying up front and fighting with LG later on being reimbursed. Plus, all of the parts Sears sent me to return so I don't get charged sometime in the future. My only son and grandson are deceased and when Sergio told me he would tell his mom what he told me; was so heartwarming. Thanks Sergio. I took your advice: someone will come out, won't be a charge and made sure to get an confirmation number. People like Sergio, you just want to can kiss them in the mouth. There was a problem with scheduling and he made sure it got fixed as when they rescheduled our washer and dryer maintenance checkups, they only set up our dryer check and the washer one fell through the cracks somehow. It was rescheduled but not assigned to anyone to actually do it. read more
