I had a Maytag dryer that needed repair. I went through my home warranty company home safe and they dispatched Sears appliance repair. They showed up diagnosed the problem. Charge me $65 to come out. Call. Home safe and got the approval to fix it. And every time they would schedule to come out and fix it. They would reschedule this went on for over 7 weeks. I finally had a plus appliance. Come out after calling them on a Friday. They came out on Monday and fixed it in 20 minutes. Sears had said they needed 2 people to unstack the dryer from the washer. It was a Maytag stackable unit. A plus appliance did not need to unstack it. It took him 20 minutes to fix it. I would not recommend using Sears appliance. Repair ever to anybody the worst company on the planet. read more

The service visit did not resolve the reported issues. The technician was expected to replace the capacitor, check the Freon level, and diagnose the cause of the AC not cooling properly. However, no documentation or explanation was provided following the visit to confirm whether the capacitor was replaced, and the Freon level was not checked. The repairman had a bad attitude. He left telling me he would order parts and return. Then I received an email with paperwork I had never seen before showing I had approved some estimate for work. And another email stating sears does not do the repair work I need and I have to call someone else and go through this whole process again. read more

After it was determined that we needed a replacement part, there was no visit scheduled to install the part. When I requested a date, there was no discussion. They soonest date was assigned. That didn't work for our schedule. I rescheduled for the next day. We were told the tech was to arrive at 12:30 pm when the clock time was nearly 5 pm. I could not speak with anyone to verify times. I'm pretty this is a scam business!!! Tech showed up with no truck and no parts!! I gave the person I spoke to all info he needed to repair my GE refrigerator. He never hooked up the diagnostic tool to determine what was wrong!!! Pretty sure I would have been charged piece by piece till he got it right. Told him he was done and to leave . I understood I would charged the $129.00 service like my email stated but it then changed to $136.00 because I'm in PA!!! That is NOT what email has!! Beware do not use this business!! They contracted our washing machine to a company the guy said he had a disability and couldn't cover his shoes on our carpeti told him our washer was leaking.He ran a cycle a told me it was leaking. He then said it would cost 430 dollars to repair. He never moved the washing Machine but said it was the water pump or a hose but it Might be neither. I made him leave and called whirlpool they came and Pulled out the washer and Showed me Leak in the hose that was a simple fix. I will never go through sears again read more

The scheduling process is horrendous, especially if you want to schedule washer and dryer for the same time. The arrival window of 8 hours is extremely inconvenient. And there was no notification of a shorter window on the day of the appointment. For 18 years I was very happy with your scheduling process and service. But no more. The technician called one time while I just happened to be getting ready for work after I'd been waiting literally all day long for them. He only called once and didn't leave a message or even give me time to get out the shower(not even 5 mins) to call him back before he cancelled the service and made a note that I declined service. He didn't do anything but look up parts on his phone then told us the price to fix everything inside of the machine. He said this without even opening the machine to take a look.
