Five stars for the technician, "Ram R". Timely, efficient and knowledgeable. Repair was completed. The Sears Repair Service however leaves a great deal to be desired. First, I expected to hear from "A&E Repair", so when a technician from Sears called I thought they were phishing and told them no. With some "digging", I learned "Sears Repair" was in fact the legitimate service. Ram R came out, diagnosed the problem, ordered new parts. We were rescheduled for an appointment after parts arrived, usual "8-5". An email update showed expected arrival 4:16pm which came and went with not call, and no show. We checked the "track your appointment again" and it had changed to a time after 5 pm. We waited until 6 pm. We checked again and the "tracker" said a technician had arrived but "no one was home." I will not go on, though there is more. Suffice it to say had we either received a call from the technician, OR been able to call and speak with a live person, much frustration and time, both ours AND the tecnician's, could have been avoided. There should ALWAYS be a human back up to these automated systems. They are great when they work but endless source of frustration and anger when they don't. Happy ending, Ram R was eventually re-scheduled and the "fix" did not take long. Hopefully this is the end of it! read more

Christian was an excellent service tech! He was prompt on arriving, very friendly and courteous. He provided us with excellent service. Actually, I would have to say that Sears Appliance Repair has, so far, been the very BEST service provider we have encountered since we have had a contract with First American Home Warranty, and this has been over 4 yrs, now. We were kept informed every step of the way on matters concerning when the parts would arrive, when our service tech would be coming etc. I would welcome Christian and Sears Service to come out to repair anything we need repaired again and again! Mohammad Haroon was the service technician dispatched to look at my Kenmore refrigerator (6 years old) that was not cooling. I was given a time frame, he called and showed up during that time. He was able to diagnose the problem, order parts and fix the problem after the parts arrived. He was knowledgeable, professional, polite and a happy person. The cost was far below what I expected and much better than getting a new appliance. I would highly recommend Sears and Mr. Haroon for appliance repair for efficiency and professionalism. :) read more

Sears automated scheduling system is extremely user friendly but the logistics when verifying parts delivery to the customers was virtually impossible for me resulting repair four weeks later. This must be updated to customer satisfaction. Otherwise Sears service has been very good to me for almost thirty years. The technician who repaired my washer was excellent . Thank you SEARS!!!! Caesar is always fantastic when comes to our home. I love how he cleans up after himself. He is professional and is a great teacher. He takes his time to explain everything to us. However, Muhammad who came on Monday, was rude and unprofessional. He refused to take my dryer apart to look at it. I asked for him to call someone in the office. He grabbed his bag and left and told me not to call him back. Muhammad needs to be fired!!! read more

The technician, John, was very professional, knowledgeable, and kept me informed. He found the problem, but it wasn't the washer. Now I know which direction I have to go to fix problem. Thank goodness I have a Sears Protection Plan on the washer, great value = free. My only gripe is with the incessant emails and texts sent to tell me when my appointment was. the technivian did not call me when they were on their way. I was home upstairs and no one rang the door bell. I just received a message telling me to rate my technician because the job has been completed. Technician left a note saying no one was home. Did he ring the bell? This is ridiculous . You guys don't call the customer? You just send a text message and show up? That's awful! read more

The Tech. was very courteous & efficient. Your Tech. are very good, but your scheduling from 8AM to 5PM is not very good. Waiting all day for a service call, and texting at 4:45 Pm that Tech will not be there day, rescheduling is not good. Most people do not has all day to wait. Technician notified me of arrival time. I had service requested for range, refrigerator, microwave and water Softener. Technician thoroughly checked all appliances. He was very pleasant. I am very satisfied with his service. The cost of my Master Service Agreement more than doubled for the annual renewal. I felt the cost was simply too high and so I have not renewed at this point. read more

this rating is for our technician only!! He did a really good job and was really nice and super careful not to break things. The scheduling of the repairs was not so great- they came out Dec 18th to diagnose and order parts. Cancelled on me Dec 28th, no showed on Jan 9th and then finally arrived and fixed today. They are impossible to get a hold of an actual person too. read more

Vincent was excellent. He was on time, gave me a heads up when he was on his way, was kind, and efficient. He was here for just a few minutes to diagnose the issue and order the appropriate part, then again only here for a few minutes for the installation. We're still covered under the appliance protection plan, so it was included at no extra cost. read more

The technician was great to work with. Was able to install the part that was ordered and explain what the issue was. Sears on the other hand was horrendous to work with. My original appointment was requested 2 months ago and they rescheduled me 4 times!!! No urgency on their part and very difficult to get a hold of. read more

Jeff was very professional yet friendly and analyzed and fixed our LG refrigerator quickly. Appreciate his service. Wish Sears Home Services could have responded quicker to this problem. I had to purchase a Mini Refrigerator to avoid losing any additional food. Hopefully this will be covered under my warranty. read more

Vincent, was earlier than expected, checked everything I had told him that was wrong. He went to work I had two different issues and he fixed both of them in no time at all. my dishwasher didn't work for 8 months, endless repair attempts, rescheduled appts and promises for replacements and at least 10 orders of parts that didn't work. daniel was the only person who could find the problem, ordered the correct parts and fixed it. read more
