The one downside: I have to be real about the produce section, specifically the fruit. It's usually pretty hit-or-miss (mostly miss). The berries tend to go bad quickly, and I've had bad luck with apples being mealy. I usually grab my fruit elsewhere. The Verdict: If you just avoid the fruit section, this is easily a 5-star store. It's why I drove…read moreall the way from Columbus to this store and bought hundreds, more likely thousands, of dollars worth of their merchandise in past years. Today I finally got a refund and walked out angry over the poor customer service policies and/or personnel. I will not return. Maybe it's the way they handle purchases in building supplies...The problem is they DON'T handle purchases at the building supply counter. That's definitely not customer friendly. Maybe it's the dead-eyed apathy of some of the staff. Maybe it's just that I am too old to walk back and forth across that huge store three or four times just to complete a purchase and arrange a delivery while staff stand around refusing to help (even after I specifically asked for help.) I guess they don't realize who ultimately makes it possible for them to have a job...or to keep a store going. It's all about good customer service for good customers, baby...and you blew it!
