One thing to keep in mind is that this location is much smaller than many Walmart stores on the mainland, so don't expect a huge Supercenter experience. That said, it was well-stocked and easy to navigate. The most interesting part of the experience was the checkout process. When you select how many plastic bags you want, an employee standing nearby actually hands you the exact number of bags you requested instead of letting you take them yourself. It caught me off guard at first, but I assume it's a measure to prevent people from taking extra bags. It's a little unusual if you're not from the area, but certainly not a big deal. Overall, this is a solid Walmart and a convenient stop if you're visiting San Juan and need to pick up essentials. It may be smaller and have a few practices that are different from what mainland shoppers are used to, but the store was clean, organized, and served our family well during our trip.

Came during the week on a Tues and it was not too crowded, which was a welcome treat as I do not like shopping malls at all (nor shopping in general). I really enjoyed this mall, though, as it has a bit of everything including some non USA stores. Mall doesn't look like much from the outside and you cannot tell (at least from our entrance) that it looks like a mall until you get outside. Very clean, upscale, and has something for everyone.

Yup, this is a department store with dollar store prices. Worth checking out if you're on a budget or just looking to save money. I'd strongly recommend leadership team to visit this location as I'd never use the restroom at this location again. I'd stop at a gas station or restaurant before I visit this unsanitary area. Second the parking lot is a zoo to say the least. Watch out as others honk, weave, and pass regardless of pedestrian right of way. As for prices...look around, shop around. Food court is beyond long. Wait time is not even appropriate. Don't consider getting anything with in reason. 45min for an entire pizza. I'll go elsewhere. Entirely, if you understand what you're going for. I forgot a few things while I was on my vacation so I came here. Check-out was friendly and efficient. Next time I travel here, I may not pack as much. I'll just shop here and get a few items. Like all retail stores in the area, it is housed within historic buildings, renovated on the inside to meet modern standards. It is large, with 3 distinct stories. It had large sections of clearanced items, and a huge section of discounted luggage. This made that section very popular with cruise ship workers, who were picking up bags to prepare to go back home. My brother ended up picking up a chew toy for his dog and a couple of generic gourmet food items. The queue is the same as in the states: one long line until you get to the end, and then called to a particular cashier for checkout. I really like this system, though the Marshall's voice ("Cashier Number Six, Please") wasn't present here. That would have been awesome if the same voice, but spoken in Spanish.

Have you ever stepped into a store and quickly examined if you are in the right store somehow by…read moremistake? That's the vibe this Puerto Rico marshalls is, and in a GOOD way. I visited during second week of December so I should have seen this retail store at its worst. Instead, I saw every single skincare and bath product in place by color, no random pajamas mixed in with the shoes, nothing. No funny business anywhere which was a total first for me. Everyone I talked with in Spanish was helpful and friendly. Only gripe I have is probably a result of the buyers and not the specific store - I was looking for a cheaper suitcase under 50 dollars and they had nothing besides a Jordan backpack. I think it is based on what's selling so again not a total big deal but still. This store felt like a retail willy Wonka land of awesome!!

This time I kept my eyes plastered to the side of every building as I walked and that's how I found it. Simple, dimly lit signage on the building of a barely lit street. Once inside, it almost feels like a regular Marshall's, just much smaller. If you just need something quick and/or specific, this location is fine. If you're wanting to SHOP shop, go to the one in Viejo San Juan; it's massive in comparison.
