    Great seating

Plenty of space after the rush. Nice waitress very tentative. Our first fish and chips in London. Came recommended by an uber driver. Well the bites made my niece sick. My cod was slimy and undercooked a bit. The chips were excellent. Dessert was pleasant. Setting was relaxing

Excited to finally be hereMy first time here! I lived in London for years and I had never heard of this place before tiktok. I have to say it's really great. We were on a vacation so we booked a lunch on a weekday (had a reservation just in case) and we were the only people in the dining room until the very end of our meal. Totally private dining. It was pretty cool. Food was all great. My husband had his first mushy pees and fish & chips and loved it. Not my favorite fish & chips of all time in London but still very good. The spaced is really beautiful and aesthetic as well so I would absolutely recommend it to people. What I would do differently next time is go to the counter service bar (attached but next door) which has limited seating, but similar offerings for less money. So yes adding this to my list of London recommendation's.

A bit more expensive than your normal fish and chip shop but i think they are quite popular so that explains it. I love that they have sweet potato fries and outdoor seating!

I ordered the halibut and chips with the tartar sauce. Each order is made fresh and batter crispy. The meal definately hits the spot but I found the chips/fish bland. Adding salt was a must. Also, was not a huge fan of the fact that the skin was left on the fish, personal preference I suppose. The service was ok. I understand it is cafeteria style service but was a little turned off when a certain order number was ready and was yelled out aggressively knowing full well who the clients were. The restaurant was relatively clean.

    Huge portion.

We were staying in the neighborhood. So on the way back to our airbnb after the London Marathon we stopped in because I was starving. We got two orders of the fish and chips and I devoured mine. Delicious. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and the food was good. We went back another day and got the same thing. That day I didn't finish my huge serving so I took the leftovers to go. The breading got a little soggy but otherwise it was tasty even left over. We would def go again if we're ever back in the area!

I made a point to stop here when I visited London because I heard Dua Lipa say in an interview that it was her favorite place for Fish n Chips. So I made a point to stop here for lunch on the first day. It was fine, though I really couldn't tell anything that made it stand out as the "best". There's certainly nothing wrong with it. I got the standard fish n chips, you got a big portion, I couldn't come close to finishing all the chips. It was a good value for your money. The dining area was kinda small, I think people usually just get it to go. They had a few drinks available, including a few beers. Service was pretty fast, and staff were all nice. Again, everything worked out well, it just seemed like you usual fish n chips joint you'd find anywhere in the city. Maybe there was a different location Dua went to, I dunno. If you're in the area it's still a good spot for some fish n chips.

It was okay but not all the hype. We did get a ride so did not have to worry about parking. I did have the special fish and chips and it was good but I have had better. Everyone did enjoy their food so I would say it was generally good. I do recommend and will visit again if I'm in town.

This is my first official chippy experience in the UK. The chips were great, crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. We're really great once I added the vinegar. 4/5 The cod was good as well. Not as crispy as I'd have liked, but the fish was well cooked. Also better once I added the salt, vinegar and tar tar sauce. 4/5 Didn't care for the battered beef sausage. It was crispy but the sausage was flavorless. 1/5 Maybe it's an American thing - but I don't understand curry sauce. Whether with the chips or the fish. Made no sense. 1/5

Very tasty fish & chips in a diner setting. Food was very good, not oily or greasy at all. Only complaint is that the fish broke apart very easily, but not that big deal because it was not too breaded. You basically order at the counter and then pick up your food when it's ready. Minna behind the counter kept things funny and lively while we waited.

Fish and Chips place. No salt in their chips Lots of diners for a Wednesday night. Service is good.

Word on the street is that this is Dua Lipa's favorite fish and chips in all of London - TikTok brought us here! Seashell of Lisson Grove is located right off the tube near an elementary school. The restaurant is split into two: they have a quick service take-away side and a full service, sit-down restaurant on the other. We ate at the take away side. We came here on a Thursday for lunch - right as they were opening around noon. We ordered the battered cod with chips. It came out within 10 minutes. The fish and chips were piping hot and the portions were huge! I split my order with my sister and we could barely finish it. Paired great with their homemade tartar sauce and malt vinegar. The location is pretty far from everything but I would come back if I was in the area / had the time to do so. Thank you Dua Lipa + TikTok!

It is a farmer's type market with some prepared foods, which were top notch. We walked the entire thing and grabbed as much as we could to eat. There are plenty of food places just outside the space that are open later as well. I got some meat sticks from a vendor, sort of farmers market style. There was also another stand that had fruit in a cup with chocolate. Our best deal were some arepas that were half off because it was closing time and they wanted to get rid of them. This isn't the place to take pictures, but rather to immerse yourself in all the goodness that is here.

I had…read moreread about this restaurant in some top 10 lists for foodies visiting London and was dying to check it out. First, it's not in the busy part of London where you would expect a restaurant of this caliber to be but rather it is in a very blue-collar neighborhood on the south side of London. It is a VERY cozy place with only seven tables but that is how they keep the quality and experience so great. The decor is as if you are on an old fishing ship. Reservations are highly recommended but we got there right when they opened (7pm) and thankfully they let us have a table. After being seated the hostess showed us the days specials and they ranged from fantastic scallops to lobster with every choice as good as the last. My wife and I chose the Chef's Choice 8 course dinner. The dinner comprised of a delicious sardine sandwich followed by a fillet of night perch which was then followed by lobster that melted in your mouth. Then we had a pallet cleanser of a light peach sorbet with a shot of vodka poured over it. The meal resumed with a grilled piece of pork belly (I got the "meat" choice) while my wife had a grilled hallibut (she got the "fish" choice). The next course was a warmed cheese (I believe it was gruyere) in pastry accompanied by a small mixed green salad with aged balsamic. The dessert courses were a delicious crepe with creme bruille filling and the end course was a pear puree along with a chocolate pudding with a hint of mint. We loved this place even though the name sort of threw us off at first. When you hear "The Lobster Pot" I imagine a bunch of seniors getting off a day-tour bus to a casino at a truck stop or something but this experience was far from what I first imagined. I would highly recommend spending some of your tourist dollars here at this restaurant.

A delightfully decorative place complete with seagulls singing sea shanty classics on loop. Terrified but glorious goldfish adorning the cabin window walls, really every maritime detail had been thought of, even staff in cabin costumes, it was as cheesy as the lobster Thermidor. So fun. I loved being bibbed up too, I like knowing things are gonna get messy. The Meli, a melee of seafood; half lobster, sea bass, spicy grilled perch, razor clam (touch over done), squid kebab (could've been flavoured more) but all in a sea of buttery champagne and avruga sauce. No tide could hold me back from wanting to lick my plate or use this as a moisturiser, oh my golly so delicious. It came served with enough perfectly cooked veg that my mother would approve of too. Soft butter, less surprise from the proprietor at our arrival and this place would have had a perfect score. Overall our waitress was lovely and the food was really darn good.
