There are quite a few parking spots, including four…read morehandicap parking spots, and I was truly amazed that every single person parked in the handicap spots, except for one had no handicapped placard or handicap license plate. The store was an utter disaster. They had carts of merchandise sitting at the end caps to the point you could barely pass by. The shelves were in such disarray that items were in areas that they shouldn't have been. I counted five staff, and only saw two of the five working one was a checker and the other one was sitting on the floor, stocking shampoo. The prices are not cheap certain things you can find at a good price, but others are extremely expensive for the product and the products are smaller than what you get in the grocery store. I got in line for checkout. They had one checker for a line of six people and two people in line were employees buying a drink, and they were wasting a lot of time, talking and laughing with each other while they each checked out very unprofessional. The poor young lady at the check stand just look dead tired like she's been doing that for hours without a break. You would think the gentleman who was the general manager would be a bit more professional, and would've opened another check stand, but no, it was more important that he bought his drink and made the announcement he was paying cash and then when and sat in his vehicle. The whole place just needs a really deep cleaning.

My family has been buying oysters from this business for several years whenever we visit Ocean…read moreShores. My son owns a beach house there, and our family often gathers to spend time together. Between my family, my son's family, and my daughter's family, we have purchased oysters here more than 40 times over the years. We usually buy oysters while we are staying in Ocean Shores and often pick up another order on our way home. Out of all those purchases, only one order was less than satisfactory. The oysters from that purchase were a little smelly and contained more sand than usual. During our most recent visit, I mentioned that experience to the staff. At the time, they were out of the larger oysters I normally buy. Instead of simply telling me they were unavailable, one of the staff members arranged for someone to harvest medium-sized oysters directly from the farm. The oysters were freshly harvested and packed right away. I was impressed by the extra effort they made to ensure we received a quality product. That experience showed me how much they value their customers and stand behind what they sell. Aside from that one disappointing purchase, the oysters have consistently been fresh, delicious, and high quality. Based on our family's experience over many years and more than 40 purchases, I would gladly recommend this business to anyone looking for fresh oysters and excellent customer service.

I did a razor clam dig and it was one of the worst digs I have done, stopped by here and bought 2 lbs of Quinalt Razor Clams, 2 cans of chopped Razor Clams and 2 fresh Dungeness Crab (making head butter with rice) to go with the fresh sourdough bread I bought. But there is one person who is consistently negative, rude, unkind, and unhelpful. I think her name is Karen. She should not be in a customer service role on any level. She makes you feel like a bother regardless of how friendly polite and kind you are. Whether she is shipping a package, notarizing a document or directing you to a shelf location: she is consistently horrible to encounter. I never leave negative reviews but this is getting ridiculous.
