Today, 12 months later after the project was finally completed, Porch Outfitters is removing the awning because they did not get approval from our HOA- a process they said they would take care of. They did not submit the proper paperwork and if they had, we would have known from the start that an awning was not permitted. They have reimbursed us for the awning, but we have no itemized bill for the purchase price of the awning or the labor we paid for it to be installed. WE WARN YOU NOT TO USE PORCH OUTFITTERS. The year long process was horrible, the office unprofessional, and was in no way worth the final outcome. Our entire house was built quicker than this sunroom conversion. One quality/safety issue to note: when they were moving the sliding class door to the exterior wall, we were unable to lock it. After speaking to both the head of the crew and the office manager, it was finally fixed after 6 weeks. The owner asked us to write in our review that the quality of the work was good which it was with the exception of the door lock, but the lack of professionalism of the office was worse than you could imagine. Do not take a chance on them. Please understand how disappointed we are. From the salesman saying it would take 6 months "start to finish," and then later saying "we have made one idiot mistake after another." The "Production" Department is run by a very young man who is easily frustrated and incompetent. Workers in management come and go, and there is fine print in the contract, "no verbal agreements will be honored." Buyer beware with this company. Heed this warning and those given by others.

Not only was there zero communication from within the office, but the Project Manager never communicated what needed to be done to the crew. As a result they installed the French Doors in the wrong place and had to start over. They also damaged our interior flooring. When we finally went directly to the office to see if we could get some results since the owner repeatedly refused my phone calls and I (rightfully in my opinion) was extremely frustrated and upset. The owner treated me as if he was doing me a favor by correcting their mistakes. When I raised my voice in total frustration he had the nerve to tell my husband, "I'm so sorry for you that you're married to her". When I complained to the "new office manager, she said, "well he is going through a difficult divorce and he's very stressed!" How is that my problem? This is not a good business man! A job that was suppose to take 5 weeks from start to finish took 11 weeks to complete. They made so many errors I could go on for several more paragraphs. But I think you get the idea.

And, they delivered what they promised. The job was finished just yesterday, and I can't see how it can go bad; but, stuff happens. Given my experience, I'd recommend them.
