They needed to improve customer service. They are quick to take your money for a service call before they even show up. We had a fire caused by a part that they had installed. We called to have the affected parts replaced. They came and charged us then took forever to give a partial quote after numerous phone calls. They did refunded the service call but lost a customer after a near 20 year relationship. There was something shady going on with the willingness to give a quote. They knew it was a fire and the insurance company would be looking into it. We had another company come out and within the free service call we got the quote and the job was completed within the week Seasonal World wasted half our summer and caused a delay with our insurance claim which included repairs to our house. They had no sympathy for our situation and were anything but helpful. read more

When I call to ask questions or tell them I need help with something they are always so friendly and helpful. Janice makes sure your always taken care of. Long honest review hoping to help someone who is thinking of building a pool in there backyard...here goes. If I can put a 0 star review I would, although I do have some positive comments. 1. The shopping part was extremely positive. The sales rep was thorough, patient, informative, professional and honest. I can't remember his name unfortunately but he certainly knew what he was doing. We chose an inground concrete vinyl liner pool. We signed the contract in 2021 and were promised to have the pool construction start in June of 2022 (1 year later which was common at that time). They came on time as promised and started construction in June. This part of the process went so smoothly that I recommended them prematurely to a friend who lives in East Brunswick and who also decided to build her pool with Seasonal World based on my recommendation. I feel bad, because she also had major problems and things didn't go well with her either. 2. Tony came to visit our backyard several times and things seemed to be going as planned. The pool was done by August, although the rest of the backyard still needed to be done. Aside from his horrible, stuck up, know-it-all attitude, there were very little hick-ups during the construction process. When completed, we had a beautiful backyard with a nice size pool. 3. Now the summer is coming to an end and we had a planned 1 week vacation. We hadn't entered the pool yet since it was still a construction site. We went on our vacation, came back, and noticed that the concrete around the pool had sunk in...completely unsafe kind of sunk in. So we contacted them, and they got the right people to come and fix it AT OUR EXPENSE. So we are talking about a brand new pool here...needing to be fixed before we swam in it. Anyway...on to the next part of the story. 4. Once fixed, we thought it was over. We covered the pool for the season and then in April, we had them come and open our pool so we can now begin to finally swim in it...only to realize that we had a leak; a huge leak. So now...they are telling us about all kinds of evaporation stories (which we believed) till we had someone come out to check it...and it was in fact, a leak. So after investigation they realized that when they had fixed the concrete the previous summer, some of those concrete rocks entered the pool ripping the liner which is what caused the leak. So they had to replace the liner. 5. You think its over? Nope...we had another leak. Again, they didn't believe us...weeks later they had managers, experts, blah blah blah come over. It was a leak. They kind of just plugged something up that was a temporary fix. 6. We had to fill water once a week as we were told since we live in NJ there is a lot of humidity which causes water loss. Since this is our first pool, we thought this is the normal situation. So fast forward till 2025 (we never had a summer without issues in that pool), we have moved to a new home with a pool which was built by a different pool company (I wish I knew they existed before coming to seasonal world). Anyway, we had them come to close out our new pool, in our new home, and told them the story. They told me there is no such thing as needing to fill your pool with water weekly. That's a leak. I asked friends who have pools who have confirmed that they only needed to fill their pool once the whole summer (if that) and was never part of routine maintenance. In summary, I don't care if the person reading this ends up going with Seasonal World or not (it won't be my money being wasted, it'll be yours). All in all, it was a horrible experience. Main points here - It doesn't matter if you have some nice people who work there (although the owner needs to go...his son, Anthony is nice though) - the final product is what matters. We could have put a 20% down payment on a million dollar home with a well built inground pool instead of investing in building this pool. Save your money, time and sanity. Use another pool company. Google helps. The others who gave 5 star review must be family. This is getting 3 out of 5 for a reason on yelp. If you are going to invest all this money, go with a 5 star rating. read more

I had a pool installed n my home on Deal Lake Point Rd in Wanamassa. I researched pool companies and selected Seasonal World mainly for the Vanquish System. I was totally thrilled with my pool, their services and professionalism. The Vanquish System was flawless, my pool was gorgeous, cleaned itself and I never vacuumed once. Tony the owner was great, when the truck hit bricks on the side of my house he replaced them immediately. I moved to a new home in Freehold and the owner had a pool installed by Seasonal World! Unfortunately they did not have the Vanquish System installed and it has to be done on build. Pool is great, we have a separate pump for Polaris Vacuum and it works great and looks beautiful. This is for the service that I have been receiving since the installation. No matter how many times I call or send emails they always respond quickly and guide me through whatever the issue is that I am having. They are an amazing team. What prompted this update was that back in Jan we booked them to open our pool the 2nd week of May. Come to find out we are now hosting prom pictures the 1st week of May and my wife really wanted the pool open. I get on the phone immediately and was met with a very slim possibility of meeting the new request. These schedules are made well in advance and strategic to their customer base's location and really no one ever cancels I was told. I explained how desperate we were and to please try. Sure enough, a few days later I get a call from Janice and of course, she was able to do her magic and they got it open well in advance of the prom. While I am pleasantly surprised I shouldn't be as they consistently overdeliver. Janice and the team continue to impress us with their customer service. We are extremely disappointed in this company. We bought a doughboy pool from them in Mat 2020, we just rec'd the phone call that our pool was in Nov 25. I know this was a crazy year but Seasonal World never kept us inform of any of the delays! Firstly, I am not a person who usually writes a review. but this establishment pissed me off so much I think it deserves some acknowledgement. My wife and I were shopping for outdoor furniture. The salesperson had steered us towards a 7pc sofa set that we weren't originally interested in. But the price made it attractive to us. The salesperson told us the price was low because the set had been there for a long time. We purchased the set at $1,500 and change. After signing the receipt, we noticed that the receipt only included a sofa, a chair and a table. The salesperson assured us that the price was for "ALL" seven pieces. We agreed to pickup the set at a later date. When I got home, I asked my son if he could borrow a vehicle so we could pickup the furniture that day. he was able to find a vehicle to borrow. At which time I called the store, spoke to the salesperson and said I'd would be coming to pickup the set. The salesperson told me that help would be provided to load the set on the pickup truck. As my son and I arrived in the BORROWED vehicle, we were met by the salesperson who told me that they would not be honoring the sale. There was no further deal offered, just the three pieces on the receipt for the $1,500. I asked to speak to the owner Anthony, But was told he was in a meeting (on a Sunday, really???). I hope you all got time, because I got time today! Invested 50k on my home with this company, wether it was financed or paid cash, It was $50,000. Not even 40 days old Pool, equipment doesn't work, I called and emailed Tons of times and never got a response until they realized their accounting dept made a mistake and there is a $1800 outstanding balance. Then everyone and their sons were quick to call me, email me, voicemails etc after weeks of calling to complain about no chlorine being in the pool, not a soul cared to listen to my service request, even blamed it on a chemistry problem when I have done everything at third party company told me to do until they finally said "something must be wrong with your equipment, valve, something". The City inspection Is not even completed. Only nice person there was Jenna(customer service) not Felix, not nick, not hector, NOT ANTHONY "the COO" Who tried to belittle me and commented that "$1800 is a Clearly problem for me if I haven't paid it and I had to finance" I'm not paying $1800 until I get a functioning pool. This is by far the worse costumer service But wait for their response "this review seems rather odd and not like us, blah blah blah" bullshit! The minute they received final payment they done with you. So either go somewhere or if it's too late make sure you have a functioning pool before you make last payment. read more

There was decent selection for seasonal items but not cheap at all. Also, some of the costumes smelled like they've been sitting in boxes in a dingy warehouse (which I understand is the only way to keep a seasonal store running, but it should not smell like a muggy basement). The employees were also very rude (I think every one of them was annoyed at questions or to other customers). Also, The cashiers were not being upfront about combining coupons for items .They were not helpful and I don't think I will be back. Also they charged for an item we didn't buy (or could even fit in our bag for how big it was) and was not apologetic about the mistake when we went back after realizing. Rather, he looked annoyed. I am presently giving Seasonal World a 5 star review. (Hoping they live up to it in their Service Dept) It's been a awesome experience to have our pool built, our pavilion, tons of pavers and landscaping. Tony (owner) has checked in with us in person multiple visits just to make sure all was going well. The crew(s) have been here every day working long hours to get our yard transformed. Hector makes a weekly phone call to assure that the schedule is on target and answer any questions. Bill's Landscaping same thing...regularly checking in, giving advice, etc. crews were awesome. We love the landscaping! I highly recommend Seasonal World. If you're looking for a company that takes charge of everything from Permits right through to finished product, this is the way to go. The worst customer service I've ever encountered. They built my pool three years ago. Problems since day one. They verbally promise the world to get you to sign then retract what they said. Fine. It's not in writing. I've had problems with my cleaning system since day one. Every year I've needed repairs. This year my warranty ended in June and by July I started having all kinds of problems. They charge 150.00 just for a service call plus parts and $55 every half hour labor. They made a mistake opening the pool this year and caused all kinds of issues and I have to pay. They obviously have no intention of doing anything about the problem. A 2-minute service call cost us $195! We have been long-term customers; unfortunately, that will change based on an experience with a service call in the summer of 2022. It was noticed that the pump was not running properly. I called SW and spoke with Ir-- in the Service Department. Based on sounds that I made to imitate what I was hearing, she suggested it could be the capacitor. She indicated that she would do her best to get us on the schedule promptly, as the pump wasn't running at all. I expressed my gratitude for her assistance. Later that afternoon, Ir-- called to let me know that a tech would be out the next day, most likely in the afternoon. I thanked her again for her assistance and informed her that in the interim we were able to get the pump running. After confirming with my husband, I indicated to Ir--that we did still want the tech to come, as the pump was not running appropriately and we wanted to talk to him. The next day arrived. I was home all day. Around 3, I called SW to ask if the tech was coming. Imagine my surprise when Ir--told me that he had been there. I expressed my surprise and dismay at the fact that we did not talk to him. I was told that "no one needs to be home" for a service call. I acknowledged that but reminded Ir--that I had said I wanted to speak to the tech. It was clear that I was not happy. I checked my security cameras. The tech pulled into my driveway at 11:57 am and left at 11:59 am. At this point, I called back and really lost my cool. I was accused of "just not wanting to pay" and was told, "I told you how much it cost for up to 30 minutes of travel time and up to 30 minutes of on-site evaluation." Eventually, after some hostile exchanges, I was passed off to a manager, Ja--. She was equally as unpleasant as Ir--was. When I asked why the tech never knocked on the door or rang the bell (SW has opened and closed my pool for about a decade...the employees have always alerted me that they are on the property), Ja--told me she didn't know why that didn't happen. I told her that SW should be ashamed and embarrassed by this behavior--almost 2 hundred dollars for a less than 2-minute service call. She said the tech looked at the pump and it was running, so that was that. In his notes, he wrote that the pump is old (it is) and there was a leak (which we had just discovered). There was no acknowledgment that I had stated the day before that I wanted to speak with the tech. Ja--then basically tried to intimidate me by stating that SW was doing me a favor by even servicing my pool because their policy was to "only service pools they built." When I reminded her they never minded taking my money for opening and closing in addition to selling me a new cover and hundreds of dollars of chemicals, she had no response. The conversation ended at that point, as I thanked Ja--for nothing. I'm really disappointed that a long-term relationship had to end over this; however, $200 for 2 minutes is just not good business. read more

I am writing to warn people that I did not have a positive experience with Seasonal World and that I cannot recommend them at all. Seasonal World did not follow up on anything that they were supposed to do. I had to chase them for over a year to get them to come out and check on my issues. I have found their work and crews have been sloppy and unprofessional and when I have contacted them with issues they (The owner Tony) have ignored me or told me that the problem was either someone else's fault or not under the warrantee. When they completed the pool, they left a big pile of dirt on the property. I got rid of it. They told me it was cleared and sent me a photoshopped photo of clear land. When they opened the pool they did not point the jets in the right direction so the cleaning system wasn't cleaning the deep end and they also left a number of their tools behind. They had to come back and adjust the jets and pick up their tools...After multiple calls The pool was completed in September and closed the first week of October. Seasonal world closed the pool and then opened it in April of the following year. When they opened it the lining was creased badly. They blamed the people who built our retaining wall. That wall has flashing and drainage pipes and photos to prove it. Then they blamed the property. Only after complaining and calling them for a year did they come out and look at it then after further calls they then agreed to fix it. I checked with other pool companies and they all said it should not have creased after eight months. In the middle of the second summer, the cleaning and filtration system was not working properly. After two months of requests they sent someone out and told me that the entire system had to be re-plumbed to the tune of about $750.00 and that it was not under warrantee, it must have been something I did. So to recap: after 15 months my system needed to be re-plumbed and my liner was creased and none of it was covered by any type of warrantee, and the repairs would have to be made at full price at my expense. I have moved on to someone who takes responsibility for their work, shows up when called and fixes things as requested. Lastly, the only time there has been a Yelp response to their work is when it is positive. read more

First of all, don't complete your satisfaction survey right after installation--wait a while to see if problems develop. I made this mistake. We chose Seasonal World to design and install our pool and also used all of their contractors for fencing, retention wall, decking, landscaping etc. When we first met, they showed us an online presentation of our house and we could see exactly what our pool would look like and theywere very accomodating. Our inground pool has a liner and during installation, holes were made in the liner due to debris and fencing pieces falling into the pool. When finished, pool was beautiful, along with everything--landscaping, pavers, fencing, etc. Before our first swim, we had 8 plus patches in our pool liner. Soon after we began using the pool (1st and 2nd seasons) several leaking incidents with pool liner bubbling up on the stair and decking area--more patches and a leak under the pavers where they had to remove the pavers and fix. I contacted SW and their owner personally and expressed by concern about all of the leaking and patches--the owner, Anthony, said it would even be stronger with the patches (???really???) Also, it costs us thousands of $$$ to get a permit and permission to proceed with the retaining wall due to hourly charges by Township inspectors who blamed SW for not getting back to them. SW blamed the township--we just paid the bill, we still don't know who to blame. Second season--here came all of the rain. Because not enough drainage was provided and the pool wasn't installed in the ground deep enough, we incurred terrible flooding. Pool flooded with dirt, retaining wall was leaking everywhere, water was pouring into our yard and into our basement (ruined carpet). What a terrifying mess--water was rushing in our basement door about 2 feet high. Happened 3 times before problem was finally fixed properly. They did come out and fix the problem, it just took 3 times to get it right. End of season 2 we noticed our deep-end liner was fading/bleaching out. We never added anything but salt in the shallow end and algaecide into the deep-end skimmer. They came out Season 3 and said it was chemical negligence on our part. I even contacted the liner manufacturer and asked them to come out and take a look that we thought the liner was defective or installed improperly from the beginning--this is not normal to have this problem so early on. Manufacturer never came out and just agreed with SW that it was our negligence. Also Season 2 or 3--needed a new pump installed. They came out and fixed immediately and no charge since it was covered under the 3 years. This was good. Here we are Season 4--started with losing water. We did the bucket test that they suggested with pool running and not running. Result for us was water was being lost while pool was running. We asked them to come out and do a pressure test. They came out and dove the pool and lo and behold--found yet another hole in the corner of the liner in the deep end (blaming us that it was from our broom)--bullocks! We don't brush in the corner of the deep and our brush is not sharp. They never did the pressure test that we requested. The same week, the cleaning system was leaking profusely where equipment is located--came out yesterday to fix, which will probably result in another service charge. They should have pressure tested it the first time out (2 service charges for us). Still waiting to see if this fix works. I am still steamed about our liner that continues to bleach out and contacted the manufacturer,Merlin Industries again. Waiting to hear from them. I realize owning a pool that there will be issues, but this has been ridiculous. I will say that Seasonal World always comes out and checks out the problems and fixes most things (except the liner). I just think most of the leaks/holes, etc. should not have happened in the first place. I gave them a glowing review on the survey they sent to me when pool was just completed, I should have waited awhile. SW isn't all bad, they always respond, it is just we have had so many problems. read more

I just wanted to put a review out there. Selected Seasonal World last year to build our pool. Like any major project, there are always hiccups, what stood out to me is how they handled those hiccups. They've seen them all before and managed the process well. They also managed me and talked me through the issues and addressed them to my satisfaction every time. It was completed in the winter so this is my first season and the after opening service has been outstanding. The service teams answers every email, every call and basically walks me through all of my questions. I am very pleased with the final build and even more pleased with the post-opening support. Hello fellow yelpers! I'm new to the Jackson area and used Seasonal World for the first 2 seasons even after being warned by many of the neighbors no too but thought not everyone has the same experience. As with other reviewers I knew I was paying more than I should but convenance and a large selection of parts and supplies kept me going back. I needed to replace the grids in my DE filter and had shopped them online about $110 including shipping. I called seasonal world and got a price about $150 dollars. For an extra $40 it's worth it. (Again convenience factor). I start by disassembling my filter because I've been here before and wanted to match the parts in the store. Go to the store match the parts $230 dollars! I explained to the owner I was told @about 150 when I called and I could buy them online for 110. She wouldn't budge. I had no choice but to pay, as I could wait for the parts to be shipped. Lesson learned, there are other pool places in the area. read more

Seasonal World built a pool for me a few years back. I've had several problems which were never properly addressed or addressed at all for that matter. They've come out several times, which they've charged for, and never found a solution to my problem. When I call, I'm treated with extreme rudeness and there's a complete disregard for my problem. Thankfully, I visited Mystic Pools in Old Bridge who not only treated me with respect, they solved my problem the first time they looked at it. Imagine for a moment that you are from the east coast but living in San Francisco and you have flown into Philadelphia because it was cheaper and then stayed with a friend in Philly before convincing another friend to come pick you up and then drive you back to your family's house on the Jersey Shore. And now imagine that you have a proclivity for overindulgence, as does said friend, and you two are therefore terribly hungover as you're driving. And then suddenly you decide that McDonalds fries would probably make you feel better, so you pull off the highway at the first McDonalds sign that you see. Only, before you reach McDonalds you see this place called Seasonal World that has some really nice inground pools with diving boards and slides - but also a shitload of those incredibly tacky Christmas blow up plastic/cloth lawn ornaments. And since it's unseasonably warm, you start joking around about skinny dipping in the pools. So you get your fries and then you head on over to Seasonal World. You let yourselves into the pool areas, where nobody is since they're busy selling Christmas items inside, seeing as it's the day before Christmas eve. And you jump on the diving boards and climb up the water slides and pick up the skimmer and start skimming the pool. And then you get mad that nobody is coming out to yell at you. So you head over to the tacky Christmas lawn ornaments. But there's a bear holding a dreidel. And you grew up with lots of Jewish friends and you don't remember a story about a Hannukah Bear. So your friend gets mad and kicks the bear because it's a symbol of the commercialization of every fucking thing in our consumerist society. And then she kicks every other ornament. But then you find the power source that keeps all of these things inflated (did you know they were electrically powered?) and you point it out to your friend. And then she turns it off. And you get back in the car and laugh and go around the jughandle (it is NJ, afterall) to go back on the highway, pausing briefly for a moment outside of Seasonal World, with its now deflated lawn ornaments laying around the front like dead soldiers, so your friend can pull out her megaphone (yes, she drives around with one) and scream "Fuck You Seasonal World, you're ruining Christmas!" Well then, you're fucked up. And Seasonal World deserves four stars for putting up with your shenanigans. read more

Um, not sure about the previous post, but all I have to say is that although they might have a bit of a selection, they are overpriced when compared to a national retailer or other small places in the area. For general commodities for the holidays(lights, figures, etc.) you're better off going to somewhere like Target or HD where you'll not only find a better selection but a more reasonable price. Even with the sample o ring with me, he gave one excuse after another as to just why he will not look for the o ring, I have hundreds of o rings it will take for ever, don't you have the name brand for the pipe union??? Don't you have a picture??? One sarcastic comment after another, then this so called manager says "do YOU want to go back there and look through the parts bins? I could not believe how this guy was talking to me, I'm there to spend money at his store and he has the nerve to escort me back into the parts room and WATCHES me look through the bins for the right size o ring and doesn't even help me! Seamless project from start to finish! From my original inquiry to final completion of the pool, the process was completely organized. We researched a lot online first and were honestly very confused. With the amount of money we ultimately spent, we wanted to be sure the pool company knew what they were doing and Seasonal World does! Any way you slice it, an inground pool is a major investment in your home and the original amount we wanted to spend was not what we ultimately spent, but at the end of the day we have the pool and backyard we always wanted. The staff was very responsive and upfront with costs in my opinion. The scheduling of work and inspections was amazing and our total project was completed (pool, decking, fence and patio) in 8 weeks! I would recommend Seasonal World to anyone in the market for a pool. WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!! Where do I start. The salesman explained when installing the pool they would take a piece of my fence down to fit the equipment in my yard and put it back up the way it was. Also there would be a little dirt from the hole in my back yard left around the area. The fence had to be replaced and there was so much dirt left I had to plant a new lawn. I called and said to the owner a customer should be told he is going to need to plant a new lawn in half his back yard when making this buying decision and budget for a new fence. . I told him he should come and plant it. His answer was "I dont have time". well I didn't either. Never a "I am sorry you were mislead" nothing that a business owner should say. This should be explained before someone buys a pool. The side of my house was hit and damaged by their machines. The owner couldn't have cared less. He told me the company they contracted out would pay for the repairs. Get an estimate. I got one for $1500.00 and another for $700.00. I gave him the $700.00 estimate. 7 months and 40 phone calls later I told him I was going to file a law suite and call the BBB if he didn't pay for the damage that month. He finally did. Warranty issues. NOTHING seemed to be covered. My pool cover had a tear in it. There was a 5 year warranty. They told me to tale a picture, send it and than told me it wasn't covered. What kind of tears are covered? Since the pool was still under "warranty" I wanted to use them for service work, however no one seems to EVER call back. I would call, leave a message saying "I want to spend money with your company and no one is calling me back" and no call back. The pool had a leak. Big surprise it wasn't covered. They told me they couldn't send someone in until the water got warmer since it was the winter. They said they can come over and "probably" fix it without even going into the pool. I said to them it sounds like your going to come here, charge me $200 and tell me you cant find a leak. I was told they can fix these sort of problems all the time by sending someone and looking around the pool. Well they came, charged me more than $200.00 and said "cant find the leak". No kidding. No one there ever cared about the customer. I have been in sales more than 15 years and if I treated customers like they do I would be out of business. I would never use them for anything ever again. Seasonal world built my pool 2 years ago and the experience was Great. I planned this project in the winter for the Summer and it all worked out step by step. Their 3d department, Fencing, Electricians and Pavers are absolutely the best!!!! Building a pool is a HUGE Project and its not going to happen overnight there is NO magic way for Seasonal world to see the future. When digging out my pool we found a tree stump the size of a small car. It left such a hole it cost over 2k in gravel to fill it in!! An underwater fresh water supply was another expense. Again absolutely no way for seasonal world to "fix these things until they start digging. A lot of people are on here giving negative reviews but I am very sure they didn't plan for these things. Dealing with the town is another aggravating factor. You cannot move forward with your pool until the town comes and inspects. The inspection might take 2 days or it might take 2 weeks it was completely out of Seasonal world's hands. Tony the owner is an absolute gem, through a personal tragedy he pushed through my pool project and those guys never quit. He was in my backyard pit full of clay and dirt in Armani shoes digging !!! What else could I ask for? He wanted to finish my pool more then I did !Professional, Respectful and treated me like family the entire time. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. I did my research for over a year. Again know what you are getting into when you plan to build a pool and expect some set backs. Plan very early and you wont be so disappointed. The man behind a company matters and if your just looking for a "good" pool builder then this won't matter to you. I hope that it does: I faxed Seasonal World a survey at their request and was told they would create a design and let me know what size pool could be installed. I also filled out a financing application and advised them that I have other means and do not need their financing but want to weigh all of my options. 4 days later the sales associate called me and told me the size that would fit. I asked if she had a rendition and she said yes she would e-mail it to me that day. I never received it so I called the next day. The sales associate was not in and I was told by "Tony the owner" that they don't do designs over the phone and have nothing to send me. I said that I wished I was told that before and that I could have been working with other companies that have been calling me this whole time, but I waited for Seasonal World. Tony said "Why don't you do that; I don't need your business" and hung-up on me. To me $30,000.00 is a lot of money, but I gather by what "Tony" said, "Tony" doesn't appreciate the hard work it takes for his customers to earn that money. "Tony" should have realized that I was disappointed in his sales person's lack of knowledge and advise me on what I have to do in order to get the rendition done, but instead he got angry when I said that I could have been working with other companies, but that is the reality. Any business owner that says that they don't need your business does not care about their customers, whether it's a potential customer or otherwise, and believes their business is invincible. Tony your business is not invincible and I know that everyone that reads this agrees that no business is. Start acting like a respectable business man. What you said and hanging up on me was uncalled for and shows very poor judgment and business skills. read more

This business is unprofessional and unreliable: the construction of our in-ground pool kept being pushed back due to schedule conflict with other projects they had. They finally completed the work almost two months after the due date. Yet, their work did not pass inspection. Furthermore, by regulation, a safety net should have been placed around the excavated area. They did not. When we asked to, please, put the net up, they replied that we can do it ourselves. This unprofessional attitude was also the norm when communicating over the phone. They were supposed to keep us informed about the construction steps, dates, etc. by weekly phone calls. They did not. When they called, their responses were apathetic, rude and dismissive. We decided to call on the individual subcontractors ourselves -the fence company, the electrician, and and the company that poured cement around the pool- to save us grief and time. No problem with subcontractors. When Seasonal World came to excavate, they plowed over the area carelessly, damaging pine trees and digging up bushes that were not even close. In addition, they said they will pick up the extra dirt, but instead, they spread it over our healthy lawn, making it necessary for us to replant an extra 200squared feet of grass. I was contracted with another local pool company to fix the floor and install a new liner, in fact this was the company that originally built the pool. But it turned out that this mickey mouse of a company couldn't handle the scope of work and didn't finish the job. It was probably my own fault for going with a cheaper price, so lesson definitely learned on this one.. My buddy recommended checking out Seasonal World as he built a pool with them about 8 years ago and had no problems since day 1. After a few minutes of meeting with them I knew they were the right guys. Although I had an unusual request and the job was actually abandoned by the other company (Holiday Pools ... Buyer Beware) I was able to speak with Anthony the owner and he listened to where I was at and worked to put me on track to get the job done right. Seeing as this request came in in the middle of May, I was shocked that they adjusted the schedules and fit me in. Within 10 days of meeting with Anthony my job went from abandoned to pool ready to swim. Lesson here you get what you pay for! read more
