I had another great experience today with Seasons Family Medical in Rexburg. Travis (PA-C) did my annual back in September. He was thorough, friendly, and genuinely interested in my medical care. Today, I called his office, to follow up on some new medication we had discussed at my annual. His RN/Medical Assistant relayed the message to him and BEFORE the end of the day, my prescription was filled exactly as discussed. My care here has exceeded all expectations. This practice is a "5 STAR" group, I recommend to all my Rexburg friends. read more

I have come here for the majority of my first pregnancy and they have been so good to me. I am currently 39 weeks pregnant and called about some changes I was experiencing. They had me come in for a non stress test. They remembered that I had been in the day before and listened to my concerns. One nurse, Gabriela, made sure I was comfortable and that my bag and water were within reach during the 20 minute test. I plan to leave a full review of my experience after I have my baby, but so far, they have been great! read more

I'd been struggling with menopause symptoms for 8 years (hot-flashes, terrible sleep, weight gain, irritability, low "drive," etc), but finally found Suzanne Wilbrecht at Seasons Medical Center, and my life has changed in so many wonderful ways! When I approached Suzanne with my interest in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), she was well-informed about treatment options and dosing, risk factors, and addressing expectations. She was attentive, honest, patient, and professional. Three weeks after I started my HRT regimen, I was sleeping through the night, the hot flashes were almost completely gone, I've lost some weight, and my husband is much happier, too! I'm so grateful for Suzanne and for her excellent care and guidance. read more

I am not one to leave reviews that are negative a lot because I try to look at each situation as their own experience, but I will say I'm very displeased with the "head" nurse, the midwife Linda, and Dr. Merideth. I was going in to get my copper IUD taken out as I have been bleeding for quite some time. And despite them telling me it's normal, I have had it before and this was not normal for me. Haylee the midwife was supposed to do it but she was at the hospital helping with a baby. They failed to tell me that Linda would be doing it instead. After the nurse talked to me about why I wanted the IUD out she went out and I heard Linda ask why I wanted it out. I didn't hear the full conversation but she came in and immediately without even asking me told me the copper IUD doesn't cause bipolar that would be a mental health issue. I then told her no, I was saying hormones make me bipolar which is the reason why I got the copper IUD in the first place. Whatever, so then she is asking my husband if he can feel the strings and she opens me up to take it out. Told me I was going to be her "easy" patient because she could see the strings. Mind you I haven't ever met this lady. So whatever, I knew there was something wrong and she tells me to cough and cough and cough and she says the strings are slippery. She has the nurse go and get a new tool she was using and come back and she has me try to cough again and then just keeps trying to get it out. Eventually she pulls the strings off the iud with the IUD still inside me. At this point I'm panicking and telling her just don't touch anything else. Now, I have to go get an ultrasound and they have to try to get it out witch this other tool because it's stuck. I'm not blaming anyone for it being stuck, I had a feeling it was stuck or there was extra scar tissue from my c-section, BUT then they can't get me in until Tuesday which I understand appointments get booked over whatever. What pisses me off is when I called into the clinic to see if I can get an earlier date because I'm worried about this IUD causing long term damage and quite frankly I didn't know all the lawsuits against this IUD. The head nurse just tells me it's just emotional and she isn't trying to sound rude but it isn't life threatening. Ok these people deal with all this stuff on a daily. I don't and then she proceeds to tell me she saw my post on Rexburg moms and just completely dismisses my feelings and was rude. This isn't the first time. I'm sitting here worried about infection and fertility and they are acting like I'm so dramatic and that I'm blaming them when I'm not. I was told by Linda that this was rare and the nurse just totally dismissed me. I also caught Linda telling the receptionist details that went on while she was trying to get the iud out. I just think it was super unprofessional and now I'm just scared to even have them do anything because as long as it isn't their body, I'm dramatic and it's just "emotional " we will see how my appointment goes on Tuesday with Dr. Codd to hopefully help me get it out. I never said it was anyone's fault and they made it seem like it was my fault and I was blaming them. The head nurse kept telling me well, "that's the risk with the IUD"Totally dismissing me and then telling me she saw my post like she was saying she watches it and knows who posts on their. Dr. Merrideth just told me the obvious as if I was dumb and didn't know what was going on. I simply just wanted to know if I could get in sooner and they all made it this big whole thing that I'm just emotional and it isn't that serious but they haven't even seen the ultrasound or what's going on. I'm super irritated and am ready to just have this done with. We will see how disrespectful they are for my Tuesday appointment. It's unprofessional to be telling other people my personal experience and what's going on in a room that's supposed to be private and then tell me to basically get over it, it isn't that serious, etc when I'm concerned about many things. read more

I've had the best experience at this facility. My appointments have always been on time and Dr. Linda Webster is the kindest and most professional doctor I've seen. Of course I had loads of questions to ask her, and she spent as much time with me as necessary to answer all of my questions without being condescending or rude. Any interaction with the rest of the staff has been nothing but positive as well. I'll continue recommending my female friends go to the women's center! read more

Things with this place started out great, but gradually I became less and less impressed. I used the women's center to monitor my pregnancy, and the pediatrics for my son when he was born. They repeatedly brushed off concerns I had (mainly fainting randomly?!) while I was in my third trimester. They messed up my son's circumcision. They left too much skin behind, and now he has an incomplete circumcision. As an exhausted new mom who had no idea what to look out for, I didn't really notice it for a while. The initial circumcision cost was about $250, and getting it fixed on my son would cost me around $1500. Dr. Meredith once mocked me when saying I wanted to delay getting an epidural until right before. Madison Memorial doesn't allow patients with an epidural to walk around, and I didn't want to be stuck in bed for a while. When I said that I had a high pain threshold, he made fun of me when I said that I had painful periods for years. It was very belittling and I kinda wished I had a different doctor, but didn't want to switch so close to the end of my pregnancy. (P.S. I had since had my appendix burst before I went to the hospital because I thought it was just cramps.) read more

I originally picked the women's clinic because it was really close to my house, but I've had a wonderful experience with every office here. Suzanne Albrecht, my midwife at the women's center, was incredible in prepping me for my delivery. She was very attentive to mine, and my baby's health throughout my pregnancy. The pediatrics office has been great to take him to since he's been born, and the family medicine office was able to perform a circumcision promptly, as well as answer all of her questions when we thought he might have an infection. Every office here is incredible. read more

Unfortunately there aren't a lot of people in Rexburg who use yelp, so you are getting the handful of horror stories about this business from the people who do use Yelp. I've never had any issues coming here. The staff is very friendly, they stick well to their schedule so I'm not waiting in the waiting room forever and I their building is beautiful and always so clean! I have never seen a medical office that is so consistently awful. Their OBGYN is one we certainly will not recommend due to uncomfortable experiences rude doctors and degrading staff. The general doctors/nurses have lost/forgotten my wife's prescription almost every time, have failed to give her adequate care, and have mixed up her blood tests so she has had to come back so they can redraw. Every time I feel like the staff just wants her in and out so they can get to the next patient, I see a total lack of professionalism. read more

I gave birth with a midwife from here twice. I loved Marie Horne and still do. But something has happened to this place and I no longer feel comfortable going. I've called before trying to get a quote for bloodwork and the person I needed to talk to was never in or available. Trying to call to set up an appointment in the women's center takes at least three attempts. What are they doing that now makes this a common occurrence? I love this place. Doctor Merideth has always taken such good care of me and made me feel incredibly comfortable. I am not a huge fan of the midwife here but that is personal preference and I know many people that think she is wonderful. The pediatrics is wonderful as well. All the doctors and PAs are very kind and accommodating. I have had one nurse that I didn't really like but all the others have been great. The billing department is kind of a mess and I'm not sure why. However, I've been taken such good care of here that I don't mind dealing with the billing. read more

Becca, the midwife, is phenomenal! She answered all of my questions and made me feel like each of my questions were valid, even though I know they probably sounded stupid. Rather than jumping to minimize my fears, Becca explained the why of how different things can happen and talked me through it! I always have the best experiences with her and will keep coming back, even though I don't live nearby anymore. If you're looking for a midwife, Becca is the best. read more

This "office" is a joke! They NEVER answer the phone. Good luck getting anyone to talk to you about pricing/financing. They are not family friendly, not allowing children is unacceptable for anyone who has to work. COVID is not a curtain you can hide behind to disguise your deplorable office management. You think we can find a baby sitter or get two hours of work off every week in the middle of the day so my wife can sit in your office and NOT get the help she needs or not have questions answered? Don't waste your money or your time with these clowns. All they care about is sitting around talking, and what's easy for them. read more

I can only speak to my experiences with the womens center, but its been nothing but great. Friendly staff, clean and nice facilities. I have chronic illnesses that other medical professionals have dismissed but I have always felt believed by seasons staff. They have always listened to me and are willing to do what I ask. read more

I absolutely would not recommend this place for obgyn care. I have waited over an hour past my opponent time. Dr. Meridth is Smug, condescending, and dismissive. The midwife was pushy about the flu shot, and the other doctor (whoes name I forgot) rushed through my appointment. I called with a concern at 8am, abd a nurse did not return my call until two minutes before closing. I ended up just going to the hospital to receive care, and ended up giving birth early. Had the doctor payed any attention to anything I'd been saying, or if my calls were returned, perhaps things would have gone differently. read more

Dr. Packer and his staff are wonderful. They always make us feel so comfortable and I come away from every single experience happy with their service. The women who work at the front desk are friendly and cheerful and the nurses are patient and good with my kids. Dr. Travis (as my children call him) is fun and does his work very well. Dr. Packer is my children's favorite--they ask to have extra doctor appointments just to see him! We love this office. I also love the midwives who work in the Women's Health Center. read more

Don't listen to the nay sayers. The doctors at Seasons are experienced and phenomenal. They helped stop two of my babies from being born premature and have been extremely helpful whenever I've needed anything. I trust them with my life and will always have good things to say about them. They delivered three of my babies and I have always felt taken care of. They are wonderful! My wife (then fiance) came here for her premarital exam and to get on birth control. Here are the issues: 1. The doctor told my wife that if we weren't going to have kids right away that we should put off the wedding until we were ready. 2. He asked me to step out of the room for the exam, which I was happy to do, but she wanted me to stay and keep my eyes closed. 3. After I left the room, so did the nurse for 10 minutes of the 15 minute exam. That's not legal. 4. He told her she was a "very pretty girl" during the exam. It was not taken as a compliment given the circumstances. 5. He gave her an IUD (which is not recommended until after you have had 1 baby). It caused her pain for an entire month before they would take it out. And then charged her for the "removal procedure". 6. He told her that her insurance declined to cover it, so he gave her the "canadian equivalent" for $450 out of pocket. When we realized this was a bad place we checked with insurance and THEY COVERED ALL IUDs, including the Canadian kind since 15 years ago. 7. They charged my wife out of pocket and then billed the insurance company, which was declined because they waited 4 months to bill it. That was 2 years ago and we have been working with our insurance company ever since to get the refund from the IUD which insurance is ready to sue them over. They dodge the calls from insurance and us. When we do get through to them they say "we're going to pay. Look for the check in the mail in the next 4-8 weeks." I've left out the more emotionally troubling things that happened during the exam, but the above info should be enough to know you need to go somewhere else. Do not trust them because they are running some kind of shady operation there. read more

Don't go to this place. The didn't submit the bill to my insurance. After thinking we had it cleared up and even calling them back to make sure it still didn't get submitted. Over two years later they I found out they sent me to collections with out so much as a phone call. When I talked to the billing department about all this they told me that it was my problem and they don't have time to "call about every problem that comes up" if I can't count on them to call me about a problem with a bill how can I count on them to call me about a problem with my health. read more

My wife came here to visit her OBGYN which was a great experience for her, but then she needed to call back everyday for almost 2 weeks before the prescription was sent to the right pharmacy. Calling them to talk with them took over a half hour on hold to only to be told everyone was busy and a nurse would call her back. The nurse called back few days later and told her the prescription would be sent in the next morning. The prescription wasn't sent to the pharmacy for 2 days after that call. read more

I have come here for pregnancy and for pediatric care- The first time I came here was after I had my daughter for pediatric care. They were timely, friendly, and took great care of her and gave me great information. For older children I am sure this place would be comforting compared to other places because of the fun atmosphere of the waiting room and exam rooms. They call back promptly, get us in on time and treat us well. After my good experience with them I decided with my next pregnancy I wanted to try their Women's department instead of where I went before with my first pregnancy. I set up an appointment but a week before the day I started bleeding- panicked, I called them worried and not sure what to do, I left a message. Within an HOUR I got a call back, FROM THE DOCTOR himself (Dr. Merideth) who compassionately addressed my concerns and explained what was happening. Though I was having a miscarriage, which we weren't entirely sure of then- he talked me through it and was kind and patient. When I came to the appointment a week later, almost entirely sure I had miscarried, (which was confirmed by a very gentle and kind ultrasound tech) Dr. Merideth came in and talked with my husband and I. He did not belittle our grief but instead told us it is okay and normal to grieve and struggle, but that whenever we were ready, we would be safe to try again, which gave us hope. We moved after that and my next pregnancy also ended in miscarriage, which was a horrible experience at the hospital in twin falls where we were living at the time. The doctor there gave me outdated and false information and she was much less patient and understanding. After that I drove all the way back to rexburg to see Dr. Merideth when I got pregnant again, who explained everything in detail and told me about the more recent research done on advice I had received from the other doctor, but still left EVERYTHING up to me. He gave me full reign in making care decisions and even left the room to let me and my husband discuss some options. We were not rushed at all and he did everything he could to help us. Even though I was only about 5 weeks out and hadn't scheduled an ultrasound- when I said I would really appreciate it if he could do one and check on things and see what he could see- he said absolutely. My husband was there, along with another nurse. He was able to see a tiny sac and fetal rod and even with such a small amount that he could see, he tried to zoom in and find a very early heartbeat just for our comfort and peace of mind. He even sent us home with a picture. Though we will be living several hours from here for a few more months, I am going to drive here to get the superior care I have experienced. Never have I felt so in control of my own and my children's medical care as I have here. I'm not normally the type to write a review, but I feel that in the uncertain time of choosing a doctor in a new place, I want others to be able to have some idea of what to expect and where to go, because as I have seen the results can be vastly different. read more

The receptionist was very rude to my newly pregnant wife and was totally un called for!

I LOVED my obgyn. But everything else I've been thru is not worth it! A midwife made fun of me. A receptionist refused to let me talk to a nurse, then acted like I was dumb and such an inconvenience to her. The pediatric center refuses to test anything when my infant was sick. All they did was "it could be this sickness but I doubt it, but just in case here's this prescription" sorry, I'm not drugging my baby because you're too lazy to actually test to get a proper diagnosis. He had whooping cough and that could be DEADLY if not caugh on time! All in all, my great obgyn was not worth it after everything else. read more

This place is disrespectful and has low quality service. It took over 2 months to get an IUD and even then they didn't really care about me. I feel like I was an object that spits out money more than a person who should be cared for. I was never informed about ordering information for my IUD and I had to do everything else. The doctor never gave me a prescription for the IUD as well. I think the only season they embrace is a cold cold winter. I think they prey on a Mormon community and people that tend to expect more out medical doctors than to be objectified. read more

The midwife here is wonderful. She goes out of her way to help you and will give you her cell number. That being said... the receptionist are terrible or nurses or there is a missing link somewhere. I called asking if the midwife who I saw for my entire pregnancy could write a prescription for a medication which we had previously discussed. It's an urgent prescription too and they said they would leave her a note and if she couldn't write it without seeing me they would call me back. They never didn't. This has happened a handful of times during and after my pregnancy. I will call them tomorrow and update with whatever excuse they give me. But the pediatric center is great and I've never had a problem with doctors, nurses or receptionist there. read more

UPDATE: my doctor tried to get me to induce because "I want to go college shopping with my daughter this weekend" my doctor KNEW I was so scared of needles and getting induced for no actual medical need is SO dangerous! She told me it would just be the greatest thing to be in a controlled setting while artificially being put into labor for no reason. WTF. She told me if I didn't induce then I would have to have Dr. Meredith (the worst) as my doctor. I told her no and then that night I went into a stressed induced labor. While in labor I felt like she did nothing to help me and would not stop talking while I was in agonizing pain. I gave birth naturally and tore soooo bad....from all the stress probably. At my checkup afterbirth she basically just badgered me the entire time to get a Pap smear. I didn't get one. Everyone in this office is either plain rude and not sensitive to patients AT ALL or are way two faced like my doctor was. These doctors are just there for the money and if ANYTHING is even a little annoying or inconvenient to them, they won't deal. Just go somewhere else. Have a home birth honestly you won't have to tell your doctor to shut up through gritted teeth while a head is coming through your birth canal. read more

The OBGYNs here are phenomenal. I will use them every time. That being said the adult medicine makes me wait 30+ minutes later than my appointment time. And this is every time. The receptionists are rude and never have a nurse call back. Only one of them is extremely nice and understanding. They always screw up appointment times and never let me talk to a nurse in emergency situations. The pediatricians are also phenomenal (unless it's the older guy) I would recommend only the OB and peds nothing else!! read more

I am a fairly new patient to Seasons but so far I am very happy with the service I've received. It was recommended by a couple different friends who say they won't go anywhere else because they love how the Dr's treat them. I even had a friend from out of town that became ill while visiting say she wished she could take the OB Dr she saw back home with her to be her full time Dr as she and her husband were so impressed with how he handled her case. Each time I have had questions the nurses were quick to return my call and were very knowledgable. They don't always call back immediatly but, they have always gotten back to me that same day. I have met with a couple different doctors, each in different clinics for different reasons. They were all very professional and knowledgable and put me right at ease. I felt I could ask any questions regardless of the sensativity or seeming silliness of them. They took my question seriously and addressed each concern I had. They have a beautiful facilty that is warm and welcoming. The staff has always been helpful and seemed eager to help. You do sometimes have to wait a little if their phone lines are busy and schedules seem to fill very fast so you have to plan ahead if you want a certain Dr, date, and or time but they have always seemed to do their best to try and accomodate me and my schedule. read more

Worst medical office in Rexburg. I was switching my insurance at the time I went in and they weren't understanding at all. I went in for a premarital exam and they didn't check anything. Instead they talked to me for 5 min, wrote notes on a piece of paper and then charged me $180 for our talk. Everything they told me I could have found on the Internet and I am extremely disappointed with their services. They didn't help me at all, instead they stole $180 from a poor college student. read more

I was trying to call to get in touch with a nurse to let her know I was experiencing a miscarriage and had some questions a week before my first prenatal appointment. I called three times and never got a call back. So I wound up going to my appointment and the nurse seemed shocked that I had to go there and tell her in person that I was experiencing a miscarriage and said, "It's terrible that you have to tell us this in person" when I could see the nurses at their stations, phones ringing but no one answering them. Then, I had to wait over an hour to see the doctor in the exam room, who spent 5 minutes with me and all the while I was treated like my miscarriage was contagious and kept off in a corner of the building without someone checking in on me, for over an hour. Also the front desk lady seemed to naturally assume that I was going to need billing for a month to month basis, as if everyone who comes in continues a full pregnancy. I felt that I was not wanted and ignored and almost looked down on because I had a miscarriage and no one seemed to care or give me the time of day. I will definitely never be coming back and telling everyone I know never to go to Seasons. Worst experience of my life. read more
