This is a solid spot for all you can eat sushi (you can also order a la carte). As with most all you can eat places, it's not the highest quality sushi, but if you're hungry, it's a good deal. They have an extensive menu with a little bit of everything, from hand rolls and sashimi to pad thai and other noodle dishes. We ordered quite a few rolls, some sides (fried rice, takoyaki, beef teriyaki, fried dumpling, cheese wonton), and dessert (ice cream and a little mango cake). The ordering is easy; you'll get an iPad with the menu and you select what you want as you go. Some dishes are brought out my staff, but they also have one of those little robot servers that brings over some of the dishes. Overall we were happy with our meal here and get our money's worth. EXTREMELY upset right now with this restaurant and their service, we ordered dinner at 5:40pm online through their app to be delivered at 9:30pm.. we got a call at 9:00pm (over 3 hours later) to say the delivery guy is too busy and can't deliver our food today. How you find Seasons Sushi depends on your experience with Japanese food. Pros- Service was good, the robot serving food was neat, I liked the ambiance (you mileage may vary). We were looking for a good sushi place near by and this one came up. I'm staying near Niagara Falls so the drive wasn't too long. About 20min or so to get there from the Marriott Fallsview. We parked in the structure next to the restaurant and walked in. We also had free parking, not sure why or how but that's a plus! We went in on a Saturday and there was no wait, they sat us right away! We're first timers here so they showed us how to order and we went with the all you can eat sushi. For the price and quality of the sushi, coming from a person who lives in HAWAII and is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean full of tuna, this place HITS home. There are many sushi places where we come from and nothing can compared to the amount of food they offer here, from sushi to Thai food, to fried rice, desserts, and more. You can really get your moneys worth if you know what to eat. We loved the torched salmon, torched ebi, the Sakura roll, and for dessert try their creme brûlée! My wife and I crossed the border to Burlington to pick up a few things from IKEA and after 4 or so hours of frolicking through the aisles and buying a few things for our apartment, we were famished. I remember going to Real Sushi many years back for some fine AYCE sushi, so I looked them up with my trusty Yelp app only to find out that they moved and changed to be "Seasons Sushi." They only had a few Yelp reviews, but I was a fan of their old location so we arrived here hungry and ready to indulge. The first thing I noticed when coming in is the purple and neon lighting which changes colors and the comfortable looking booths. The ambiance is a huge update from their old location and we both felt very comfortable here. Next is the technology! You're given an iPad when you come in and you place your order right on the iPad. As soon as you hit "send," a server comes over to review your order and send it to the kitchen. The menu is HUGE! Lots of specialty sushi rolls, sashimi, and even a full Thai menu with pad thai, fried rice and delicious ice cream desserts! Service & food is where the place really excelled. There was not a second when our water wasn't filled, food came out really quickly as it was ready (our sushi roll first order came maybe 5 minutes after we placed it!!) and an empty plate did not stay at our table for longer than a minute! It was almost eerie, because the second I finished off a roll, a waiter or waitress would come by and lift it off the table. There were quite a few people here too, to have such prompt and excellent service while it was a full house on a Saturday night was quite impressive. Another reason they earn huge props from me is that they never skimped on the sashimi pieces. I ordered at least 30-35 raw salmon sashimi and each piece was hefty! They must have fed us at least a pound of salmon with their cuts. I was also a huge fan of their dragon rolls -- very tasty and their beef sashimi was pretty good. Unfortunately, they do not have any ahi tuna sashimi on their menu -- only white tuna, but I guess it wouldn't be economically feasible for them to offer it. I loved the seaweed salad, all the sashimi (mostly feasted on salmon and mackerel). I was not a fan of the chicken wing (I ordered a single one to try), so skip that and save some room. The "crab sashimi" is imitation crab so don't bother with it. One minor note of disappointment was that the California Roll I ordered, they seemed to have messed up and put crab meat in there instead of salmon, but it was my last order and I didn't mind at all. I did not indulge in any of the Thai dishes as I wanted to leave room for sushi, but I was a huge fan of the fried banana + ice cream dessert. It was so delicious, it took some serious self control to not order more despite being very full from the meal. Come here while the exchange rate is hot ;)! It's seriously delicious. 1 USD = $1.25 CDN when I visited! Each of our meals cost $25.99 CDN each and with tax and tip I ended up spending $55 (American) on the meal which I thought was a steal considering all the sashmi we ate! Went to Seasons alone one evening to treat myself after work on a Friday. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, the food was delicious and the servers were okay. You would think that I should give them a 5-star rating because of these right? Yup, would have done that if not only for the extremely loud bickering between employees in the kitchen (I assumed those were employees because the noise was coming from their kitchen, and it was clearly not one of the patrons). It surely ruined the mood and ambiance of the place! I was trying to enjoy my dinner but couldn't because those guys were shouting at each other non-stop (in their native language), uncaring if they are bothering the customers trying to have a nice meal. One of my favourite places to visit every time I'm in town. Their service is top notch, and they have some of the freshest sashimi I've ever tasted. My family always goes for the AYCE sushi, and we've never been disappointed. On top of sushi, they have many Thai-inspired dishes that are extremely flavourful and fun to try. The prices have gone up, but the quality of food remains as excellent as ever. The servers are very attentive and you receive your food fresh and piping hot every time. Their lunch AYCE excludes sashimi and some Thai dishes, but their dinner has the most expansive AYCE menu I have ever seen. It really is a shame I couldn't give them 5 stars and what caused this was the actions and terrible service we received from ONE server in particular. The night started out great as we were seated promptly and brought our drinks immediately. Since I had already been there, I guided my partner, Rachel, and her son, my stepson,TJ, through the menu on the iPad tablet. We viewed the various offerings and I pointed out what I felt were the top choices to them. I then placed the tablet at the side/edge of the table as I had been shown in the past and we waited...and waited...did i mention we waited? So I hit the option to "Call Staff". And we waited...and waited...I'm sure I mentioned we waited. Each time 2-3 servers would walk by and glance at the tablet in passing and continue on their merry little way. I looked at the bar and could see what seemed to be the attention light flashing but no one came. After roughly 15 minutes(non exaggerated), someone other than our server finally cleared our order to go to the kitchen. Our dishes slowly started arriving and we enjoyed our first round of servings. Rachel and TJ made their way through all the different dishes and found the ones that they would like to have seconds of. So once again we get the tablet and enter our order. Low and behold, we wait...and wait...AND WAIT. What the hell? So I sit up tall and straight and cross my arms and begin to try and make eye contact with ANY server. No luck. Time is passing and this is getting ridiculous, Where is our server? Wandering around and sometimes clearing tables. At other times just standing around and not once looking at his tables to see if they needed attention. So I stare at the bar where the manager is standing. In a short time she sees me glaring at her and promptly sends over what I thought was the drink girl. She clears our order and it goes to the kitchen. Again our dishes make their way to the table and we enjoy the various dishes. Now you must understand something here. Each time as we were eating, there was never any issue of someone coming by to clear the empty dishes. So why is it so hard to get someone there to take your order? Maybe if they take longer to get to you, its less you will eat and therefore less cost to them for the "All You Can Eat" offering, I don't know. So back to our adventure... Dessert time. I'm going to make it short this time. Same crap service. Same thing. In fact I did look around a few times to find our server and I wish I hadn't. HE WAS STANDING AROUND WIPING HIS RUNNY NOSE UP AND DOWN HIS BARE HAND AND ARM. SICK, SICK, SICK. GET A DAMN KLEENEX AND PLEASE DON'T COME OVER HERE. Again, THANK GOD, our server couldn't even make an appearance to clear our dessert choices for the kitchen. He did finally show up when he came to the table and, what I felt was, pushed us out. I thought it was "All You Can Eat"? Maybe we (and we actually did) want seconds or thirds on dessert? He started to clear us out after our first serving was done. This is my second time going to seasons and I will not be going back. My friend ordered calamari and it was COVERED in salt. He ordered chicken pad Thai... received shrimp... sent it back to the kitchen and we received was appeared to be a stop sign red chicken pad Thai. Upon further inspection the chicken was actually flaky fish. When we asked the floor manager her response was that they "cut the chicken odd and that's why it looked the way it did". At this point everyone at my table had lost their appetite and were getting glares from the kitchen staff. the wait staff avoided us for a solid 15 mins before we finally went up and asked for our bills. When we asked for some kind of discount we were then left sitting at our table while she talked to her manager which resulted in an eruption of screams and yells from the kitchen. Our server than came back and told us she couldn't give a discount. When presented with the question of whether or not she would eat the "chicken" multiple times the question was avoided without fail. After about 10 mins of arguing she took 10% off our bill.... With two good sushi places around the corner you would think Seasons would want to stand out and have at least mediocre customer service. I wasn't asking for a meal comp just a genuine 20-25% would have been nice. We will not be returning. read more

Pretty Good place in St. Catherines to order AYCE Sushi and they even have thai dishes you can order as well. The staff were really friendly and accomodating to our party of 15 people. You have the option of ordering a la carte or choose all you can eat for a price of $24.99 for dinner. Everyone at our table choose the AYCE options because we all eat with our eyes instead of our stomachs. We ordered almost everything on the menu from their sashimi, sushi, special rolls, terriyaki salmon and beef, and a ton of other dishes that came faster than we could inhale them. You order from iPads and the food comes out as soon as your server hits the "order" button. I was expecting subpar sushi for AYCE and subpar service due to the fact that this place is in St. Catherines but I must say they exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this place if you are craving Sushi and Thai food. Where to start where to start ?!?!? Ok, I'll start by explaining how we found the place... We moved from Orange County California to Rochester NY, and no IKEA in Upstate NY, so we decided to take a drive to IKEA because our online order was going to cost us $80 in shipping (total of $380)... I read other readers reviews and off we went to IKEA in Canada and on our way back we stopped at this sushi place... Here we go: 1) this place is not at 259 St Paul... They are at 55 Carlisle St... So if you punch in 259 St Paul into your navigation system you won't find it... Entrance door to this place is on Carlisle... Parking was a pain. 2) so we were given a iPad to place our order, which is a neat idea, ONLY IF YOU WIPED DOWN THE DAMN IPAD SCREENS !!!!!! So many people touched the ipad screen, then ate sushi with their fingers, then back to scrolling on the ipad screen... I could feel my finger stalling and sticking on the screen when scrolling!!! Sick ! Sanitation issue there... My wife and I are both med students, we took Microbiology way way long ago where we tested growing microbes on a petri dish and both of us wanted to get a petri dish out and get a sample of the ipad screen :) 3) every order of sushi, had rice that we could barely chew, seems as if it was made/prepared a few hours ago, if not a day ago !!! Rice was like a rock. Rainbow roll was only with salmon and tuna... I'm not Japanese but I have had plenty of rainbow rolls in other parts of the world, and I recall that it should have; salmon, tuna, white tuna, albacore and avocado (possibly other seafood as well)... And wtf is it with sushi with mayonnaise?!?!? Are you all crazy !?!?!? It's like asking for a burger with strawberries on a burger ! 4) this number 4 should be number 2 probably... We had 4 different servers come up and serve us, which was nice, great service to pay attention to your customers, ONLY WHEN THEY LEANED OVER TO TALK TO US AND WERE 2-3 FEET AWAY FROM MY FACE, EVERYONE OF THEM HAD REALLY REALLY I MEAN REALLY BAD BREATH !!!!!!!!!! I shit you not, our 9 year old son who sat against the wall of the booth could smell the employees breath from that far away ! 5) I noticed a glitch on the ipad ordering system a few times... We placed a order, server comes up to your device to confirm and sign off on the order... Server left and I check the order and somehow 2 extra things we NEVER ate or would never order were added... Second time we placed our order, I checked over our order again (by scrolling up and down), then I pressed the send button and now server has to come up to sign off on the order before it goes to the chef... Cool I checked the order it was what was ordered... A few minutes later this guy/server stops by, takes our ipad, we are eating as he stands over us (wipes his nose a few times and then touches the ipad screen, sick)... Places the ipad back down and walks away without saying anything... I right away check the ipad and see 2 extra items that it's obvious that he ordered for us, confirmed and signed off... So I get them right away and say; WTF is this, wtf are you doing, trying to get me items that I don't/won't eat so you could add it to my bill as left overs ?!?!?!? 6) continuation from 5, looks like the owner and 4 other employees gathered around our table looking at the ipad trying to figure out the glitch (which is really not a glitch it's just restaurant employees adding shit to your order hoping you won't notice it... I call it "the chef needs to get rid of old fish so lets creat a few orders to go out to customers and hope customers won't notice") and then they spoke Chinese ! People of St Catharine these are not real Japanese employees making your real sushi !!!!!!! I even told my wife when we walked in, that this was not a Japanese place... I know my Chinese hommies from my Japanese homeboys :)! 7) people of St Catharine Canada ! I am sorry that you have to eat fake sushi and that you'll probably never try real sushi ! I just finished my 3rd visit to Seasons since it reopened. It's a great atmosphere and the food is terrific, but the experience was absolutely terrible. Trust, I know not to have high expectations being a sushi restaurant and all, but this was without a doubt the worst service I have ever experienced. The waitresses are not friendly whatsoever, they're rather pushy, inconsiderate and just not happy to be there. We started off ordering from a sticky iPad, that only decides to work half of the time and constantly adds random things to your order that you never chose. While in the middle of our second order, our waitress came to the table and demanded the iPad to place our order at that moment, as if she was rushing us. I was unable to actually check our order which resulted in us getting 3 dishes we both never wanted and do not like. When she placed them at our table we kindly apologized and explained that we never ordered them. She immediately rolled her eyes, grabbed the iPad and showed us our order which read the items. Then turned and walked away leaving all the dishes and neglecting to reason with us. After ignoring the bad service, we continued to finish our food and went on to order dessert, as soon as our waitress placed the order she seen it was only desserts and just assumed we were finished with the iPad and took it away with her. Even though we were finished, it is an all you can eat restaurant and its not like it was a busy night and the iPads were in demand. Again just seemed to be rushing us out. We had ordered a variety of desserts that were all delicious including 3 of the crème brulés between the both of us. Everything we ordered came to our table relatively fast, except instead of the 3 brulés we only got 1. Weird, but we patiently waited for the other two to come. After about 10 mins of there not being any food on our table, our waitress arrived with an odd looking roll that we never ordered. I tried to explain to her that we didn't know anything about that roll and that we were only waiting on the 2 crème brulés. Since she had already taken our iPad away, she was not able to rudely bring up our order and point out to us that their iPod had messed up yet again, so before I could even finish my sentence she was already walking away from our table. After that she and all the other staff completely avoided our table at all costs. We tried numerous times to make eye contact with any staff we could, which wasn't difficult considering all of the walls are glass but not one server came to our table to bring anything, refill our empty drinks or even inquire why we had been waiting there for the passed 20 mins with no food, no iPad and disappointed looks on our face. Finally after a half hour of nothing we gave up. The only words spoken to us when we walked to the front counter was "together or separate bills?" It's safe to say I will never return to this restaurant and I will not recommend it to anyone. I am a St Catharine's resident and I will continue to drive to Welland's Sushi 8 instead. My husband and I were traveling home to Illinois from our fourth of July vacation in Niagara Falls, ON and happened upon this place by pure accident! We stopped in St. Catharine, ON looking for a deli that didn't exist and decided that we'd try to find something to eat. We walked around for a bit, checking the few various restaurants that exist in the little downtown area and happened upon this one. We walked in and sat down definitely not expecting a true all you can eat sushi menu with no limits! We are avid sushi lovers and immediately fell in love with this place! The portion sizes are amazing to be able to try everything. We don't have anything like this in Illinois! Sushi places usually rip you off with sushi wrapped in nothing but ride even if you ask them not to. If we ever come through again we will definitely be stopping here! This is my second time visiting Seasons Sushi, and will most definitely be my last. I decided to to go this restaurant on my birthday because my usual sushi restaurant (Wind) was closed for construction, I found out by surprise that Seasons offers a half-price birthday special. When we were seated, the waitress didn't say a word and set up our tablet. We then selected all of our food, and clicked the call waiter tab, and waited, and waited some more. We waited ten minutes, and no waiter came to "verify" our order to send to the kitchen. We got sick of waiting and clicked "send order" ourselves. Our food started arriving, however, food we did not order arrived as well. At first, we thought it was a small mistake until four plates total arrived that were not ordered. We pressed "call waiter" on our tablet, and no surprise here, no one came. We were making eye contact with the waiters, and were being rudely ignored. It came to one of us having to wave down someone to come over, we told the waitress that we were getting the wrong food to our table- she picked up the plate we were pointing at- and left without a single word. We were annoyed by the terrible customer service but carried on. The sushi rolls were not appealing at all, the rice was so overcooked that it didn't even taste like rice. The chicken pad thai I ordered was cold... the best thing at Seasons Sushi was the coconut ice cream. When we finished eating, we pressed the "order Bill" tab, and waited fifteen minutes ... we made eye-contact with waiters and were rudely ignored. I was so frustrated that I walked up to the counter where you are seated, and asked the waiter on the system computer for my bill, he looked up and said "Cash or credit only" and I asked where the ATM was...... he replied, "across the street"...... so my friend paid for me because I don't have a credit card. We told the waiter that we wanted two bills total (one with myself and one friend, and the other my one friends separate bill). He nodded his head and asked to see my ID, he handed it back and the phone rang. He answered the phone, and we waited a couple of minutes, he got off the phone and gave us three separate bills... I was so frustrated that I just took ou the calculator on my phone and told him how much to charge for my friend and I's bill. To my surprise and my friends and I were leaving, people lined up behind us at the front desk to receive their bills... because no waiter was using the tablet system. I have been here couple of times with my kids ,the first time was great, 2nd time ,I am sorry to say was horrible ,the worse service i have ever received at a restaurant ,my son did not get one thing he ordered for all u can eat,and most of the things my daughter and i ordered came late or not at all,finally a waiter came to ask did we get our food,no we did not ,so he looked at orders ,and we still did not get what my son ordered..I was so upset with the service that i will not go back,,I treated my kids ...and felt bad that they could not enjoy their meal :( read more

I've gone there right after they opened and was rather disappointing. decided to go back again as victory dinner and to give it another shot and it was disappointing once again. the food from time to time and i go with someone that has been there a few more times can agree that the food from time to time is rather inconsistent. there's this red spicy sauce that they will put on various items that don't need it smothered on top, example cheese won tons. I for one can't stand spicy stuff and they don't even put it on the side its all over the won tons. a bit of advice when your doing mango cheese rolls don't cheap out on the cream cheese. i shouldn't have a gritty taste in my mouth. i know a few of the rolls when we got them the nori was rather toothy so it had been made into a roll and been sitting around for awhile. needless to say i wont be going back and victory dinner was very lack luster. i'll be returning to my normal places of sushi from now on. read more

My party of 8 people came in on a thursday afternoon around 3:30. It was completely empty, there was no one else except for us. First off, i asked the waitress for a diet coke and it came out tasting like water, she told me there isnt anything she could do after she tasted the diet coke coming from the pop machine and said it tasted "normal" to her. I remember specifically her walking away in frustration after i asked for a water and could hear her throwing the ice away aggressively and sighing loudy. After that nonsense happened, i could see the waitress and other workers laughing and looking right at us. Extremely rude. Our food was not that great, the tempura came out cold, the beef was EXTREMELY chewy and also cold, and when we asked for a bowl of spicy mayo for all of us, they gave us a little spoon sized serving. Overall, this restaurant may look nice, but if their servers are rude and food is okay..not good, then i'll 100% go to Sushi Ai or Wind. read more
