This Japanese restaurant is in the Ridley Square strip mall and run by a husband and wife team. To…read moresummarize the food, it is extremely fresh with extremely thick cuts, hence very filling. All ingredients are sourced from local farmers' markets. There are five tables (they accept reservations), seating four people each. There is an open kitchen so you can watch the husand chef at work. The vibe is modern, with a few large prints. There is a little scredn at each table allowing you to self-order. We will have do dine-in next time. If you want takeout, you can easily order on their website and pay online or at pickup. You can choose a pickup time but it calculated when they could make it by, and then they email you when it is ready for pickup. It was actually ready 15 mins before my pickup time! During hot weather, they put a bag of ice cubes in your takeout paper bag! We ordered the Sashimi & Sushi Combo ($25.99). It consists of sushi (6 pcs) and sashimi (6 pcs). Because the pieces are twice as thick as from other restaurants, you are getting twice as much! 12 pieces is enough for 2 people! Where can you eat good quality sushi for 2 people for $25.99?! We were lucky because one salmon sashimi was an end piece and was 4 times as thick! One tuna sashimi was an end piece and was 3 times as thick! We lucked out! For some reason, they included 8 packets of soy sauce. They do sell other items like appetizers, tempura, classic Maki rolls, big Maki rolls, special Maki rolls, chef special sushi and sashimi, poke bowls, and party trays. Service was very courteous. When asked for more ginger, they gladly have 2 more little containers of ginger. This location opened on 2024-09-27. There was no free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutralwashroom which is also wheelchair accessible. There is free parking in the shopping mall parking lot. Review 2025-146

We were in Niagara Falls and decided to visit Niagara on the lake. This restaurant is located in…read morethe basement of a building off the main road in Niagara on the lake. Lots of paid or free parking in the area. When I stepped into Masaki Sushi, it felt like entering a new calm and peaceful environment compared to the bustling and busy streets of Niagara on the lake. Service was friendly and quick. Sushi and sashimi we had was all fresh and delicious. Good amount of fish. The rice is perfectly seasoned for the sushi and maki. The beef rice bowl was delicious. The meat is tender and seasoned well, sitting atop a bed of fresh greens and rice. The tempura was freshly deep fried with a light yet crispy batter. A variety of vegetables and shrimp to try. The udon was good as well. The noodles had a nice bounce and chew to them. The broth was flavorful without being overly salty. All in all, an amazing meal with great ambience at a higher price point. Definitely a place to treat yourself for delicious Japanese food.

We were able to get in without a reservation on a week day at 7 pm (1 hour before closing), but I would recommend reserving a table. Their sake selection was very tempting - quite a few premium options, so if sake is your gig, you should not be disappointed. Most of our order contained salmon as this is the fish of our choice, and the quality and freshness were on top. We had to search for a server at times, but in general everyone was very attentive to our needs. And yes, it's totally worth a drive from the Niagara Falls, which is a food desert if you ask me!
