And NOW- A friend of mine recommended Dr Yi.... from the very first visit I felt at ease. His staff at the front desk and the hygienist were welcoming, personable and professional... then I met Dr Yi. He's friendly (great sense of humor), thorough, professional and I've never felt like he was trying to sell me on anything or dental work I didn't need. I'm grateful to have found a dentist that I trust and I no longer get anxiety or the spins when I sit in the dentist chair!

WHAT THEY DO WELL…read more The staff are professional and helpful. I've never has any issue getting an appointment in a reasonable mount of time. They are also good at working with insurance providers. The exam rooms are clean and provide ample privacy. (The same is not true for a competitor just down the road) ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT I Seemed to be at the mercy of the dentist on shift whenever I went in. I prefer a little more consistency for the sake of patient continuity. Unfortunately, while the service I received seemed great at the time, I ultimately ended up with 2 failed crowns, and each time was referred to an Endo for a root canal. In both cases, the root canal was halted mid-procedure due to the fact that the tooth was cracked to the bottom of the root in multiple places. The Endo claimed that in both cases the DDS should have seem this in x-ray and never crowned in the first. The only good option from the beginning was to extract and get an implant (or denture). Since this office doesn't perform those services, one can only guess they wanted to get paid for the crown work, costing me the patient thousands of unnecessary dollars and much discomfort. To be fair, the crown did postpone the extraction by several years. SUMMARY If you are just looking for cleanings and basic dentistry at a convenient location that is clean and accommodating, this is a great place. If you require any care of a more serious nature and want to work with someone you can trust, look elsewhere.

What I really like though, was Dr. Howard's very thorough examination, the equipment seemed to be modern and high tech, and he didn't magically find a mouth full of cavities or "work" just to earn a paycheck. They are extremely reasonable on payment. Yes, Dr Parks makes his own crowns, and I have a few. Love it. He is creating the shape with his own mold. I think that is a plus. I have never had any problems. I have never seen him mistreat anyone, all employees I see look respected and well trained. Also, when I am in waiting area, I hear people who have moved away from West Seattle but continue to come back and drive quite a distance to come back to this clinic. When I am in the chair, I have plenty of time to listen and never have I observed any employee getting treated disrespectfully and my observation is the various assistants who work with Dr Park very much respect him and he is able to kindly explain (or train) his crew to get what he needs.

The office is kind of tucked away in the 3rd floor of a building in between some apartments and QFC. I don't know if it's just Covid related, but I waited all of 2 seconds before my apt in the waiting room before they took me back. The intro apt is long, 90 minutes where they go over your dental history, any concerns, etc. But the hygienist I had was very kind and explained everything to me as she worked and took X-rays. Overall, by the time she brought the dentist out I was pretty relaxed and feeling positive about the whole experience. Dr. Holliday was very soft spoken and advised me about my options after taking a look at my teeth. I don't feel pressured to get certain things done. It's more of a - you have this option, or this option, and this will happen if you do X. I like that she just kind of waits for you to make your own decision before saying anything else. It also looks like I won't be paying a ton of money out of pocket here with my insurance, it's a pretty small practice with only 4 chairs and mostly women appear to be working here (just a plus for me personally). I'm happy to continue coming here as long as I have good experiences. A good dental place is hard to find.

The microblading queen…read more Changing your face seems like a big deal. We do it everyday with make up. But the idea of (semi)permanently changing your face was something I daydreamed for several years before finally making the plunge. When I found Lindsey via her instagram account, it was a no brainer. Her skill, quality of work, and taste is extremely clear. So I decided it was finally the time and booked an appointment - after weeks of waiting to finally get a slot in one of her coveted bimonthly booking sessions. Again, though it felt a bit like booking a Coachella ticket, I luckily got an appointment on my first round of attempts. The fact that she can pull off this way of scheduling is legit #goals. The day of the appointment was also fabulous. Her spot is clean, fresh and lovely. The appointment started with a consult for the process of microblading - reviewing the styles of "blading," how the treatment would go, healing process, etc. We then drew on shape before she started the official process. Lindsey made the entire experience great and was a pleasure to chat with. I'm excited to go back for the final "touch up" in a month. Hugely recommended!
