I've been going to Dr. Smith now for a while ( wife as well). He has always been a good dentist, we became his patients after Dr. Dunham retired . Today he became a great dentist in my eyes, the best in fact . I had to have an implant done that I'd been putting off for a couple of years. I've never been a fan of the dentist ever since having some bad experiences as a child. Dr. Smith was excellent from start to finish . The preplanning appointments a few weeks ago, the actual implant process today all of it was smooth and dare I say fun ! Dr. Smith was very conscious of making sure that I felt nothing during the procedure and we even had a nice conversation as he took breaks from drilling a titanium screw into my jaw . Literally could not have asked for a better experience. Shout out to his assistant Trish who was in there helping him today as well. Oh and did I mention I had my procedure this morning .. it's a beautiful sunny Friday and as he promised he would , Dr. Smith called me at 645PM on a rare sunny Friday In Seattle . He was calling to check in and see how I was feeling. I'm blown away and I would highly recommend Dr. Smith to anyone who is looking for the best of the best . read more

The call was routed to a recorded message. I left a message with a call back number. I did not receive a reply. 2 more business days after I sent the phone call, I again called their direct number. The call was again routed to a recorded message. I left a message with a call back number. I did not receive a reply. 2 more business days after the 2nd phone call I called back again. This time I selected one of the phone extensions for a doctor's office. The person I spoke with was unprofessional to the point of being rude and condescending. They said in the end they would have their intake person give me a call back so I could provide information they requested. Here it is 10 business days after my initial call and again no call back. Is this the kind of service what you want from a dentist or any medical group? I recommend you look further. read more

NEVER go here. Dr. Parks makes his own "in house" crowns. The ONLY crowns I have had a problem with are the ones made by him. One in particular was shredding floor it was so poorly made. I let Dr Parks know that. He pushed around on the edge and considered it 'fine'. Turns out the tooth became so infected that I actually had to have the tooth extracted ! The remaining crowns done by Dr. Park (in house made) are garbage as well: catching floss, holding food and are made poorly. DO NOT GO HERE AND AVOID DR PARKS ! read more

Once again I go to my dental appointment with a great deal of stress. Once again, I thank Roma for making my visit almost enjoyable! She is pleasant, friendly, cheerful. She knows what to do, how to do and when to do it. She answers any questions. Without a doubt, Roma is a real asset to WSDC. As a long time patient of Dr. Dunham, I was hesitant about his replacement, Dr Kyle Smith. I cant say enough about the quality of care I have received at the WSDC. I hadn't been to the dentist in nearly 15 years and have tremendous dental anxiety. I literally put it off for as long as I could going back, I hadn't eaten a steak or crunchy vegetable in nearly 3 years due to several large cavities in a couple of my molars. Everyone in the office has such a calm and professional demeanor. They are so patient with you and focused on getting you through each appointment as quickly and comfortably as possible. Dr. Smith over charges. With other dentists, my cleanings are covered 100% even when out of network, yet his are almost $100 out of pocket and his bills always need adjustment. Plus frequent X-rays. Fillings, even worse. 33% higher rates and my last one hurt for 2 weeks. Not to mention quality of cleanings and service. I changed to a better dentist in West Seattle. read more

This review is long overdue as a longtime patient of Dr. Park! I have seen Dr. Park for probably close to 10 years by now and he has taken excellent care of my teeth which have at various times required root canals, crown replacements and more night guards than I would like to count! His office is clean and welcoming, and his staff is kind and professional. Jan who handles the scheduling is amazing and always manages to fit me in despite how busy Dr. Park's calendar is! My daughter recently graduated from her pediatric dentist and she has been seeing Dr. Park as well - he is great with kids and the hygienists are very gentle with her. Dr Park is an excellent dentist. I am very comfortable following his recommendations and treatments. HOWEVER, do not visit the office for dental cleaning if Dr. Park is not in the office. The service I received this last time was not worth a single penny. The dental hygienist took a total of 20 minutes to do her job and no one checked her work. More importantly she was more interested in pushing her services of deep cleaning (scaling) which she performs and directly benefits her. I double check with other dentists (2) and they both agreed that I was a long way from needing that services. read more

I have anxiety to go to the dentist and have not been in well over 10 years. After moving to West Seattle, I knew I needed to see a dentist as I had an infection on a tooth that I have been dealing with a long, long time. I chose West Seattle Dental Center as they were close to my home. After my initial appointment (I had such anxiety I didn't sleep the night before), it was determined I needed a root canal on a few teeth (again it has been a long time). The root canal process went off with out a hitch, as well as, my next appointment for a crown. I just want to say the Dr. Smith and all the staff are amazing. They are all very friendly and I truly felt the compassion, and professionalism of all. They were VERY understanding about my anxiety. They made me feel safe and like I have known them for ever. This office is a one stop shop. I didn't have to go to other offices for different procedures they were all done on site. The crown process was competed during my visit. I didn't have to come back. I recommend West Seattle Dental Center for all your dental needs. This from someone who has major dentist anxiety, I look forward to my next visits to fix my teeth. Best of all???? West Seattle Dental Center provides excellent dental care. I've found the entire staff to be very gracious and highly competent. Dr. Wilcox had to treat one of my teeth that proved to be extra nervy--in other words, it HURT for a part of the procedure--but she and her assistant were extremely patient and made sure the work got done with my dignity intact--and the new crown fitted perfectly. Wow, Dr. Luke Park is the best dentist I have ever had. His staff is also excellent as well. He is extremely professional and caring. Everything was explained to me as they were performing throughout the process and frequently checking in to see how I was doing. I really appreciate how advanced in technology this office was, and definitely saved me from making multiple trips to the dentist. (I moved away from West Seattle, but will trek out of my way for good customer service!) I had a partial crown done, and everything was done in-house, from the x-ray to the molding of the crown. It was amazing to see the whole process from A to Z. In addition to this, he called me personally after an appointment to check on me! i began going here before dr. park joined this dental center. i had only seen the previous dentist once, for just a routine cleaning, so it's tough to make an impression and write a review about her. but i have seen dr. park now a handful of times and i am sticking with him despite my insurance considering him out of their network. i believe he is THAT good that i am willing to pay for some of the work he has done out of pocket. that should tell you something! plainly put, dr. park is a perfectionist and that means he only has exceptional people on his team and together they handle each patient with amazing tact and respect. from the hygienists to the bookkeeper, these people are skilled at what they do and it shows. i've had dr. park himself replace two crowns in the past couple of years and i've been extremely pleased with his work ethic, his concern for patient pain during the procedure as well as follow up within the first week. he is very informative and willing to answer questions. he is also well versed with the latest technology so that crowns are milled in house and fitted the same day! i could easily chose to see a different dentist and avoid incurring out of pocket expenses, but i'll choose dr. park every time just so that i'm assured that the work that is done is the highest quality. read more

My experience started here with just a routine teeth cleaning and check-up. The exam room that I was in was FREEZING. Then I was told by Dr. Dunham that I "was going to pay the price for not flossing." He found two cavities in the very back of my mouth. When he filled my cavities, I was struggling to keep my mouth open wide enough(my mouth is really small,) and he was acting frustrated and annoyed, and never even offered me a bite rest, which seems like an obvious solution. I had to go back 3 times to have my cavity adjusted and it still wasn't right, my teeth were really sensitive, and my bite was off. He also didn't offer me water or to rinse my mouth out after they grinded on my tooth and filled my mouth with dust. I ended up getting an infection in one of the cavities, which required a root canal. I will say that the front desk staff and hygenists at West Seattle Dental Center are very nice and helpful. read more

What's impressed me most though, is the work she has done on me. I've been terrified of dentists ever since a bad experience when I was younger. I recently had my first dental appointment with Dr. Saturay. The great experience starts with her office manager Teri who is the most pleasant woman. She gave me a clear understanding of what to expect from a financial standpoint and went out of her way to make me feel welcomed. Dr. Saturay was just the same. I was having gum sensitivity, and she thoroughly explained all the possibilities and used a conservative before aggressive approach. The fam found their West Seattle dentist! Quick update: My German Exchange student cracked his tooth, so we immediately contacted Dr. Saturay. Wow. She and her staff couldn't be more accommodating. She thoroughly explained the options, the cost, and did everything she can to keep it affordable given that he is not fully insured for dental in the United States. She explains everything in detail, listens to my concerns, offers options to ease my concerns and did exactly what I had expected... Although I dont think I can ever get past the cleaning procedure, its the nails on the chalk board sensation that kills it for me! All in all, her, her assitant and the staff were great! I am so grateful to Dr. Park for fixing my tooth which was injured 18 years ago. I have been self conscious about it because of the way it chipped and shifted. I was really nervous about getting it looked at. Another dentist quoted me an expensive implant that would remove the tooth completely so I avoided the work for years. Dr. Park fixed it in 10 minutes without surgery and I couldn't believe how affordable it was. His staff is also amazing and I love visiting his office. I had four appointments of the course of two weeks and each time they did a great job of making sure I was comfortable and knew what was happening during each step. Their office manager was super helpful and friendly, too! I ended up paying less than I expected, which may be a result of having fairly decent insurance, but from other reviews it sounds like they are pretty affordable anyway. I've taken my 2 kids to this center for the past several years. I was made to feel a suspect parent by telling them I didn't want x-rays for my very young children and prefer not to use fluoride. Then my insurance changed and Dr. Saturay was the only one in the building accepting my new insurance. My wife and I both called her office several times and never got a return call. We even went into the office to try and schedule an appointment. Dr. Saturay's office never called us back. I feel she may have been told by our previous dentists there that I am a "difficult" parent and so completely ignored our calls and requests for an appointment. While I'm disappointed with Dr. Saturay and having to find a new dentist farther from our house, our new dentist at "A Kid's Place, Too" is great. Thanks Ms. Saturay. read more

I'm came to see Dr. Saturay for a second opinion on a possible root canal. I was impressed from the moment I met her. She spent twice as long examining my teeth than the first dentist I went to and ultimately decided I did not need a root canal. She recommended a few things to try to alleviate the sensitivity in my tooth and it worked!! I'm a total dental phobe but now have total faith that I'm in good hands with Dr. Saturay. They are friendly, personable and really have the patient's best interest in mind. They walk you through every step and recommendation. Shawn Anderson, Dr. Saturay's Dental Hygienist, is a charm. I'm new to the West Seattle Dental Center, and haven't even met Dr. Saturay herself yet, but had a cleaning done by Shawn. I will be honest with you-- he did make me cry. It had been a while since I had a thorough cleaning and I knew it had to be done right. He clearly does his job well and is truly passionate about dental hygiene too. I wouldn't trust my teeth to anyone other than Dr. Dunham. He's to the point, fair, and cute as hell. If you schedule a cleaning make sure to ask for Mickie- she is down to earth and will get stains off your teeth you never thought possible. These guys have worked with me to get the work done I can afford, never suggesting I have work done I don't need. I absolutely trust Dr. Dunham and his team.. I drive all the way across town gladly to get my dental care here. read more
