Beer was great, atmosphere was the same that it's always been which is why we went. Food was a huge disappointment. Caesar salad was served with mostly brown lettuce - good croutons though. Caprese sandwich was served on white sandwich bread, had two small slices of cheese and covered in balsamic glaze. Basil was fresh which was nice but I was surprised to see a cold caprese sandwich when they described it as grilled. Tots had so much nutritional yeast on them that was all you could taste and it was entirely overwhelming. I rarely turn down a tater tot and we walked away leaving most and our dog ate a good percentage of what was gone. We've been going to this place for years - before we were married and it had folding chairs, no food. Just good drinks. Three of us stopped in here for the first time on a quiet Monday evening. My daughter really loves ciders and upon searching in Yelp for some new (to us) places, we chose Seattle Cider Company. They team up with Bread and Circuses for some great bar food which is another great selling point. We were served by bartender Gus who was super cool and really helped us by describing the ciders in detail and later on he told me the history of Two Beers and Seattle Cider. My daughter and I each had a flight of 4 ciders which is the best way to go. When you find your favorite, you can order a full pour of it to follow. My favorite was the Honeycrisp and my daughter loved the Barrel Aged Marionberry. A close second was the unique Hard Cider Slushie which I had never heard of before. I tried it and it was very yummy. The inside of Woods Tasting Room where we were was laid out pretty well. There is a big common area and some smaller areas up the stairs to the left. You can see the large cider brewing equipment in the background also which adds to the ambiance. There is also a large souvenir area with lots to choose from. And a separate room named Odyssey with several pinball and other arcade games. In the common area, there are Skeeball and Table Shuffleboard games available as well. They have Food trucks outside but you can order from inside. The Onion rings we had were perfectly fried and crispy. The French fries were pretty great and not too salty. They have some cute stuff for sale such as DIY kits for bubble tea and bubble bath! They have merchandise and their own glassware. I was super tempted to get a rose but instead got local cider (three pepper) and a honey cider. If you wanna get a cider set (4) it's $9-$10.00 and the ones in bottle depend. Best Cider in Seattle, Best Cider in Washington, and Best Cider in the states that I have had to date! It is no surprise that this place keeps growing and their product is showing up on more and more store shelves. They make a tasty tasty beverage. They have a lot to love, plenty of standard variety, seasonal variety and even have their toes in the seltzer market with the sparkling ciders. Whether it is your first time going, or it is your 100th, you quickly find that there is always more fun and delicious brews to try. The staple: if you are looking for an all around people pleaser either the Dry or the Semi Sweet will be your classic go to ciders depending on whether you like a crisp light cider, similar to a brut champagne, or you want something for your sweet tooth that is more akin to a prosecco. Both are great and well made here. Varietal: as far as their year round staples, definitely worth trying the basil mint, the tangerine turmeric and if you are in person at the ciderhouse, trying the three pepper which packs a punch! Try a sampler of tasters, or now in store they have an 8 pack with 2 of 4 different varieties which I though was a pretty great way to narrow in on a new favorite. I like the tangerine turmeric, while my girlfriend likes the basil mint and pineapple agave. The menus and the boxes show the levels of sugar content so that you can know where what kind of sweetness you are getting yourself treated to! Seasonal: they have a wide variety of rotating seasonal and special releases. The ones that I have seen personally to date include: pumpkin spice (for fall of course), spiced peached during early winter, marionberry, grapefruit, and punchbowl. Having tried almost all of these, the spiced peach and pumpkin spice are definitely worth picking up. Grapefruit tastes great in the springtime too! Lastly: the real shocking surprise has been their entry into the seltzer market. What used to be Seattle Seltzer co (tan-ish cans with stripes on them) came under the umbrella of Seattle Cider co. The new product is is the sparkling hard cider with only 2g of sugar and 2 carbs, in other words even better for you (less harmful) than a white claw or truly. These became a staple in our home for something lighter, easier to drink, and especially hit the spot in the summer. The blood orange is the go to! Very crisp, refreshing, but still packs a lot of flavor. The papaya flavor started out as a special release for pride, but thankfully has become available year round! Look for any of these in stores, or grab a 6 pack to go from them directly for a bit of a better price! We support this company whenever we can, and have enjoyed seeing them experiment with more flavors resulting in some really remarkably tasty and balanced products. Where other ciders are too sweet, too potent, or just too dense to have more than one, Seattle Cider has it figured out and will find its way into your fridge routinely after you try. Typical brew in an industrial area off the highway. A few friends and I got bored at the house in the afternoon so came by for ciders and pick up some for the night. Girlfriends and I shared the sampler. We picked the papaya seltzer, pineapple seltzer, the salted watermelon, and the basil mint. The papaya and basil mint were my two favs. Super refreshing for a summer day. I tried some of my guy friends' sours and they were quite nice as well! I LOVE THIS PLACE! I've had Seattle Cider Company's ciders in a can before, but I finally got to visit the actual cidery location and have ciders from the tap. It's located in the cool SoDo district among industrial warehouses. This location is shared with Two Beers and The Woods Tasting Room - I'm not sure if they are all in the same family, but it's all the same space. And it's a very cute hipster space. Wood paneled walls, lots of tables, it's just very PNW. At the bar in the middle is where you go up to get drinks - you can do flights if you can't decide, which is what I did. I ended up getting a flight of four ciders - the Semi-Sweet, the Imperial Honey, the Pumpkin Spice, and the Raspberry. My favorite was the Imperial Honey - I like my ciders SWEET. The bartender was really nice and when she found out it was our first time there, she welcomed us! So friendly! Maybe the best part was the free stickers! They have Seattle Cider and Two Beers stickers at the bar. Now I can show off my new favorite cidery. After you enter, to the left, you can order food. There offer a lot of fancy bites, like gnocchi tots and brussels sprouts salad. My friend and I shared the lamb lollipops and the crispy pork belly and the churros with chocolate. The food was good and very pretty, but the portions are kind of small for what you pay for. In fact, the food is expensive. But once you order, they give you one of those cute Funko Pop toy figurines instead of a number, and that's how they find you to bring you your food. That's pretty awesome. I loved the atmosphere here. It was really chill and people can bring their puppies! They also have darts and shuffleboard and fooseball. It's a great place to hang out. We also stopped by the gift shop and purchased two glass pints and a growler, and only spent $15 (not bad for souvenir glassware). When we're back in Seattle, we will definitely be going back! The cider here is pretty legendary. Got a flight in their tasting room, which was 4 per, otherwise it's $4-6 for a 13oz glass. My friend got a flight and we chatted the bartender up so we got to pretty much sample everything. Favorites 1. Three pepper cider - made from 5 different types of apples and poblano, habanero, and jalapenos peppers! The kick with the lightly sweet finish is so easy to drink and the abv is 7% will get you after enough. My absolute favorite. 2. Gin botanical - complex, clean, and aromatic. It's fermented with spent gin botanicals from their distillery. One of the most unique drinks I've tasted. 3. Basil mint - savory, sweet, and clean. So easy to drink. These 3 are award winners in my book. Solid Citrus cider - well balanced with apple flavor and citrus hints from grapefruit, orange, and lemon. Dry cider - balanced and dry, not too sweet, just good apple-y flavor. Oaked maple - sweet and dry with oak and maple hints as advertised. Wasn't overly sweet like a soda. Stopped here while on a happy hour pub crawl. Like pretty much all other Seattle breweries I've been to it wasn't crowded at all. There's plenty of space. I like how there's free games (pool, shuffleboard, darts). Plus, there's tv's and they had the Mariner's vs the A's game. Not sure if they do but it looked like a big group just finished a tour. Went there after a dog walk with a friend today. We brought our pups with us. We came at around 2:15 or so on a Saturday and there was plenty of room. The service was quick and everyone was so friendly, I also just enjoyed the vibe of the people - friendly and dog loving! They have a cool little gift shop area in the back, food, awesome variety of drinks and plenty of parking. For me, the location was a little out of the way, but worth it. My friend and I got a cider each and then shared a flight. Really pleased with their unique flavors and the sheer number of available choices. I adventurously tried the pumpkin spice flavor, and whaddya know - totally tastes like Pumpkin Spice! Enjoyed the Gose and Imperial Honey flavors as well. We ordered the garlic fries ($5.00), gnocchi tots with marinara, and jalapeño poppers. All were good but I REALLY liked the tots and fries best. We loved it and will be coming back soon! Their tasting room is located inside Woods along with Two Beers and Bread & Circuses (offering shareable bites and/or entrees). Woods has 24 tap handles serving up flights of Two Beers and Seattle Cider. The space is located in a warehouse area and has ample parking. Even though the space is located in a warehouse, it doesn't feel like one inside. There is ample comfortable seating, and lots of space to play in. I loved the warm woods and modern touches like the unique light fixtures. They have seating for over 150 people. They have shuffle board, a pool table, darts, and more. They also have a nice outdoor patio for the few days of sunshine Seattle has. They are dog friendly inside and out, but only those 21+ are allowed inside. There is a gift shop on site selling their Merchandise. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the selection of cider. There are many options available here that you cannot find bottled or canned. I ordered 2 flights to try them all. Hands down the cider is the quality winner all around. My two friends with their beer were jealous of my ciders. All of their cider was well balanced and structured. They have some tasty unique flavors that are not over pouring or too sweet. I kind of love the fact that Seattle Cider Co. shares a tasting room with Two Beers Brewing (which they call "The Woods"). The husband can get his favorite brews while I can enjoy some truly delicious cider. Honestly though, at first I was a little skeptical about Seattle Cider Co. I don't really enjoy the other brand of cider made within Seattle city limits (Schilling). But Seattle Cider Co. is not too sweet and they have plenty of different seasonal flavors to keep things interesting. The Gin Botanical sounds weird but it was truly my favorite cider of the night. Give it a try and I promise you won't be disappointed! The tasting room itself is a pretty casual spot. They serve mini pizzas but that's about it. I went to Rose All Day on Thursday July 6th with five other people and it was so fun and busy! To be clear, if this was only regarding the bar part, I would give ten out of five stars for the bartenders. They are a friendly bunch of coconuts and kept their cool with lines extending outside. I have a gluten allergy (and not the fad "i dont eat gluten" kind, but the if I eat it, i will vomit) Anyways, my boyfriend asked if the tacos were corn or flour and she said "corn, but we are basically out so you can't order them."
