My favorite brewery in Seattle, hands down. I would also place this in my personal top 10 all time. I would rate this place a 5 alone based on their customer service. From being incredibly welcoming, to making great recommendations, this place has it all. As for the space, plenty of seating inside and outside. Place was busy when I went on a Wednesday but not overwhelming. The beer, my god the beer. Some of the best I've ever had. Not sure if it's the Wet or Fresh Hops getting to my brain but I've never thought, I could move here just to be close to this brewery. This place had me getting on Zillow immediately

We were on a brewery tour with Cycle Saloon and this was the final stop. The guy who helped us was really nice and friendly with our group. I really like this cidery. We all tried different ciders and found seats outside around their fire pit. They have a cute setup with different and fun seating areas.

Lots of open patio spaces. Roomy inside as well. I been here a few times already and they are always hopping ( pun intended) always great choices of beers and ciders. Quite a few you only get at the tap houses. Service is always prompt with the pours and cheers! This time was the added bonus of Salish Sea oysters in the house serving some of the best oysters around. Great beer and fresh oysters... it doesn't get much better. They also have a rotating food truck schedule, so you never go without food as well as great beers. I highly recommend coming during fresh hop season as they get the freshies in from Yakima as quick as they're kegged and canned. One of many great breweries to visit for a Ballard beer crawl. Cheers!

The indoor space was super cute and the service was super friendly. We all went for beer rather than cider and were happy with our pours! Great spot to check out if you're in the Ballard area!

Actually visited for a pop up for Pastry Boy. Wasn't sure which cider I wanted to try told the person helping me I didn't want anything too sweet. He suggested the blackberry sage called Palisades. Was great recommendation. great staff friendly and so helpful. Definitely would love to visit with friends in the summer. They have lots of seating inside, but the outside space looks very cool.

A very interesting concept. A brewpub and a cidery right next to each other, with a large open air courtyard in between. We each ordered a flight of beers/ciders to start our late afternoon pub crawl. It was a hopping place with a lot of families, kids and babies.

Visiting Seattle I knew I had to make Bale Breaker my first place to visit . I tried beer a few years back in CA it was amazingly delicious. I had great and knowledgeable tap staff they knew their beer . They do several Collabs due to their own hop farm other brewers do not have their capabilities. That's why they're the best !! Sat out on the patio place was very busy . They had a great taco truck on hand I tried they did a great job with all their food it paired perfect . I had their Collab with Russian River couldn't get any better . You must try when you can , they have Cider also but I did not try . They had a Collab with pizza port too . Good people , good vibe cheers

Such a cool place! Lots of seating options and a really nice outdoor area to hang out in. We came to try the cider options and a few of us tried flights. They also had ginger beer and root beer for non alcoholic options. I loved my flight, as did everyone in my group who got one! There was not one bad cider. None of the options I tried were too sweet and all of them had nice flavor profiles. Definitely would highly recommend stopping here if you're a cider fan. There was a food truck stationed right outside if you needed something to eat, as well as a gourmet ice cream cart. Dog and kid friendly. I'd definitely come back!

Came to Bale Breaker as a second stop on a bit of a brew crawl crossing it off the list. Good crowd with some decent choices on the menu. The history of Bale Breaker is a family-owned brewery out of Yakima sharing the same space is Yonder Cider which makes it's apples in Wenatchee. I think this is a pretty cool combo where you have double the choices where usually there may be only a handful of choices for either of the beverages. I've had yonder from can purchases elsewhere but not draft so perhaps on another visit I'll try that; this visit was strictly a beer try out. I sampled a few of the beers tried the bottom and topcutters which each brought their own levels and hints of piney, floral, bitterness. I settled on the Weed Garden which had the aroma to match the prior samples but also a fruity slight pineapple taste. Will be back to try more at Bale Breaker + Yonder.

How have I lived on the edge of Frelard for a decade and not known about this place?! What a gem! I got a Mazama cider and read out by a brazier on a cool spring evening. Perfection :)

They are kid and dog-friendly, too. We ordered an NA IPA (which they have on tap!) and their hop water (comes in a can). Both beverages were absolutely delicious. I love that this place is NA-friendly. They offer some light snacks and free pretzels, which is awesome for a brewery without a kitchen. There is a food truck on site, but it was closed when we visited. No worries, though, you can bring outside food, which is perfect since there are plenty of great restaurants in the area. I asked the bartender if they brew at this location, and he said they've moved all brewing to a different location in Seattle, but it's still super fresh and tasty beer all around. This is a spot worth visiting in Seattle or getting together with a large group for a few drinks. Plenty of choices for everyone!

Random barrels and umbrellas, as well as maybe 10 or so picnic tables across the two outdoor patios (dog-friendly). Saw they also have private event space off to the side. Plenty of indoor seating as well.

I believe that they are right. I ordered the half chicken, Nashville Hot, cornbread, mashed potatoes and gravy and the collard greens. Since it's a bit of a drive for me I wanted to make sure and have enough of everything for a second meal, which it did. The prices are very reasonable, especially Happy Hour. My go-to HH cocktail here is the Vieux Carré, but I like herbal sweet & bitter, so it's right up my alley. Currently there are five HH cocktail options and they are $7... hard to find in Seattle! I've also had the rainier & rye for $9- the rye is great, forgot to ask what kind it is. I've had a few other HH drinks, which were alright, but these stand out the most. As for food, I've only tried the spicy Seattle dog, and I would get it again. The hot dog is cut up & shaped weird (see photo), but it tastes wonderful. I heard the fried chicken is great so I'll try that next time. Also, I was excited to see that they had buckeyes on the menu, but they didn't have any when we visited. Inside is spacious and woodsy, & outside there is an enjoyable patio. Servers are nice and seem happy to be there, which always elevates my experience anywhere. I definitely recommend coming to Triangle Spirits for Happy Hour (available daily 3-5pm, dine-in only).
