2020 was the year I had finally gotten my act together and decided it was time to buy a place.  I…read moream a first-time homebuyer,  and was extremely nervous about the whole thing.  I kept reading things online, and thought I was ready, but it turns out reading about it is different than when you're in it. Amy was not actually the first realtor I contacted, but the first guy told me straight off that I would have to compromise on what I wanted (!).  The second guy was so overbearing and mansplainy in our first call I could barely get a word in.  Finally a friend told me to contact Amy, and I was so glad they did! I'm not the highest-end buyer, but she took tons of time to walk me through the whole thing.  She was willing to visit places with me for months, even though I kept not liking any of them.  She didn't pressure me, she didn't tell me to not want what I wanted, and when I apologized for wasting her time told me thatI wasn't. She was willing to look at places that I brought to her.  And when I did find a place I wanted, but was asking more money than I really wanted to spend, she helped me make an offer, and worked back and forth with the selling agent.  When things got to a head and I told her I would walk away, she once again didn't tell me I was making a horrible mistake or try to pressure me into doing something I wasn't comfortable with.  During the entire process she patiently answered my million questions via text (and email). At the end of the day I ended up buying a place I love.  Without her unflagging enthusiasm, I probably would have given up.  She was exactly the realtor I needed.and I can't recommend her enough!
