While working on getting the resident transferred, driver Michael was berating the staff stating he has a schedule and needs to keep moving. This company is unprofessional and rude to work with. Michael has reasonable rates and provides services to his clients that are above and beyond. Several times I have utilized Michael's service to provide transportation for an elderly adult with dementia that family wasn't available to travel to their appointment. Michael would take them to their appointment assist them inside the building and wait with them to confirm the patient got checked in and to their appointment successfully. I had an occasion that a patient's arranged ride fell through and the Medical office the patient had visited was closing so they just wheeled the patient, who had significant dementia, outside and just left them there with no ride coming. I got a call from a conscientious nurse from a different office who found our patient outside. After calling the arranged transportation company and being told "sorry, nothing we can do.", I called Michael. He realized the serious nature of the situation and made accommodations to pick up the patient and get them home. Within 15 minutes of calling him he picked up our patient and got them home safely. I have many stories of interacting with Michael where he conducted himself similarly. Michael is a caring person who provides excellent service.
