Five month update: I'm again really disappointed with the service. For my second consult, I had to follow up three times just to get it scheduled. I was also given an incorrect pricing estimate based on an insurance plan that was already termed 9 months ago. After I sent my updated insurance info, two weeks passed with no follow‑up or revised pricing. This was really stressful since my insurance expires in eight days. When I raised the concerns, I got a "We're human and we make mistakes" response. Yes I understand that mistakes happen, but with SO MANY errors, delays, and poor communication, it's hard to feel like there's real ownership or attention to detail. I was referred to Dr. Cheung by normal dentist to get six teeth extracted. From the moment I stepped foot in the office was probably the most professional oral surgeon's office I've been to. The staff here was great at getting to my root causes of fixing my mouth after dealing with a severe infection. They were great at explaining the procedure, payment, and recovery processes. My surgery went off without a hitch. It went better than I expected. Dr. cheung did a great job on my mouth and was very polite to work with. I got all 4 wisdom teeth removal under IV sedation here recently- and I am very happy that I chose Seattle Premier for my surgery. Dr. Cheung, Vanessa, Steven, Shylo, Kylie, TerriAnn and the entire team ensured I had a comfortable experience both before the surgery and during my recovery. Dr Cheung was extremely compassionate and had excellent bedside manner. This place was wonderful! I called and the desk lady was super helpful and nice. I needed to get my surgery done before I turned 21 which I didn't know (part of my insurance in order for it to be covered). I was able to schedule an appointment for removal of wisdom teeth two days later without a referral! The desk ladies were super nice upon arrival. Overall the experience went really well. I wanted to be put to sleep, so I did that and woke up feeling no pain. I felt extremely numb, though, and I was worried because my lip/chin felt numb for over 12 hours. Luckily when I woke up the next morning I felt little to no numbness... If this happens to you don't worry too much. So first of all, I want to say that I have really low pain tolerance and serious anxiety when it comes to pain. However, after seeing my husband got his wisdom teeth extraction with Dr.Cheung with no need of taking any pain killer last year, I finally had a courage to get mine done with Dr.Cheung. The procedure went smoothly, and surprisingly I felt no pain at all. After the procedure, I did not need to take any pain killer. I can even eat pho the next day. I came here in pure panic in desperate search of professional for a somewhat urgent consultation. I am SO glad I came here 1. Dr. Cheung knows his stuff - he was thorough, kind and very clear on what needs or not needs to be done. He gave me his medical opinion and even encouraged me to seek another if I didn't feel comfortable. He was utmost professional and friendly and made me feel comfortable immediately. Okay, so I've been holding out to get my 3 wisdom teeth removed since 2013. Fast forward to 2018, it was time to go. My dentist recommend me to go to Dr. Haralson. I was TERRIFIED. I actually lost sleep for being so scared. But I kid you not, it was the most pleasant experience to something really scary. Dr. Haralson is very focused, he actually offered to do the surgery on the spot, since my dentist was concerned. I was so impressed that he was willing to do a surgery on the spot. But I had to reschedule since I have to go under and need someone to pick me up. The day of the surgery, I was still terrified. Until they put me under, and BOOM I don't remember anything. The next thing I remember was trying to be awake from the general anesthesia. Surgery went really well, no complications or pain. This past Spring I lost one of my front teeth in an accident. My dentist referred me to Dr. Brian Cheung for an implant. I had previously only had minor dental issues and I was nervous (to say the least). Dr. Cheung and his staff were outstanding to deal with during the entire process. They took the time to explain what needed to happen, how the recovery process would go and what my expectations should be during the four month recovery period. Today, four months after the surgery, I was back for my final visit and everything healed properly and I am now in the final stages of getting my permanent crown. Since I couldn't make the feedback any shorter, I will put my take at first: This dentist office seems to focus on getting the most money possible out of the patients pocket and the insurance. I was there for two tooth extractions for my 14 years old child by referral from Dr Sung of another facility to Dr Cheung at this place . At first visit they required me to pay out of pocket $300 for a '3D scan' that they said they wanted to make sure of the status of the tooth that they can't quite tell from the regular x-ray and if course the referral. The whole process of this 3D scanning and result thing completed in about one minute. And the result is nothing but as the referral. The doctor also mentioned in our discussion that there are medical places where I could have gotten the 3D covered with no charge. But too late, since we waited for this appointment for more than three months already and we didn't want to disrupt the process . But my take on this was why didn't Dr Sung refer me to the better deal in the first place? Or is it about better quality. And also, was that quick 3D really that required with that much out of pocket change.? In the second point, the same day, the doctor then convinced us that he can also extract the four wisdom tooth and we avoid future additional surgery by doing so. Even though my child still have a good use of the wisdom tooth for chewing due to some other cavities and ongoing braces, we agreed for the extraction considering that we avoid future additional surgery. Long story short, after the surgery, the doctor informed me that in addition to the two tooth extractions that went well, he was able to remove only the lower two wisdom tooth and the other two were not ready and he even asked me my child's age at this point. This was a disappointment . When I ask about all their pre screening and all the 3D scanning and the decisions the answers I get back from the doctor REPEATEDLY is 'I didn't want to hurt the kid' , which of course I appreciate the most even though him mentioning it repeatedly was alarming. Why would he ever think of hurting the child. We trust him on this in the first place. My take on the second incident is the doctor's office , as professional and experienced practitioner, could have done the screening about wisdom tooth removal readiness and all related factors including the age of the patient early on but not in the middle of surgery. I say, they rushed us into it just to grab some more insurance money disregarding patient suffering and impacting consequences read more

Took a chance on Dr. Haralson because he was part of our health plan and the yelp reviews were SO overwhelmingly positive. It could not have gone better! Our daughter needed her wisdom teeth pulled and working with Dr. Haralson's office, talking about the procedure and the scheduling, was simple and pleasant. I have 4 wisdom teeth pulled here by Dr. Brian Cheung. He is amazing! The procedure was very quick, less than 30 minutes for all 4 teeth out. I feel no pain or discomfort during and after the procedure. In fact, I did not take any of the pain killer ( since no pain!) . Bleeding stops after the first day and I was able to return to work the next day. I'm able to chew regular food after 3 days. read more

I went to the clinic for a consultation and they had me wait in the room for more than 40+ minutes before they took me in the back. I managed to schedule my wisdom tooth removal surgery 4 days later. The surgery was scheduled at 10:30 and I gave them a call at that exact time to let them know I was trying to park my car in the valet downstairs in their building. The receptionist (Stacy) said since I was going to be more than 5 minutes late we'd have to reschedule, then she told me to come up and we can see. I got into the elevator at 10:33 and arrived shortly after on their floor. The receptionist then said they'd have to cancel after she told me I can come up? Why did I wait for the valet and pay for parking she could've not wasted my time and told me that over the phone without telling me to come up. The staff (Stacy the receptionist and the "office manager" was overall rude. I understand I was not "on time" to the appointment and a bit late but it's not like I was going to be straight up in the Operating room exactly at 10:30. They would've had me wait in the lobby for another 20 if not 40minutes like last time. They are telling patients that they are not "on time" when the whole staff clinic needs to not be hypocritical. They were not busy and barely anyone in the lobby. I called back around 10:45 and asked to speak to the doctor, the staff did not want me to and tried to ask me if they could help, they kept transferring the phone over to who knows who but not the doctor. When I clearly stated I wanted to talk to the doctor AGAIN they said he was "mid surgery" ... at 10:45? So who was going to do my surgery at 10:30? The receptionist? That was a straight up lie and there's no way they started someone else's surgery within 10 minutes. Even if I did get there exactly at 10:30 I would not be in the OR, I would be still waiting in the lobby. If they want other people to be "on time" they need to get their lazy staff better and be "on time" not having patients wait 40+ minutes just to be asked some questions. Overall rude staff, lie on every word and try to evade my inquiries. I did not reschedule because I will not be attending the clinic again and I suggest the same. read more

My feeling is they do not respect the appointments much. My appointment was at 3 pm, I waited for an hour now, still no signal of meeting the Dr. yet. Really great surgeon, Super nice! My surgery went as smooth as it could possibly be seeing how I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled. And the price was decent! I ended up going to him because another doctor was charging wwayyyyy too much. I am going back to him to get some more work done on my teeth. About two days later I got a call from him for a check-up (which I forgot to return) and then a day later I got a call from the receptionist (which I finally answered). We saw Dr. Haralson at Renton Modern Dentistry, where he does Oral Surgery one day per month. He was very kind and gentle. I had an extraction and my son had all four wisdom teeth removed under general anesthesia. I almost literally felt nothing, and even though he was completely out, it is obvious Dr. was gentle with my son too, as he had little to no pain following surgery! I was Referred by Dr Veigl to Dr Haralson DMD,MD IN May 2013, 1 Week later had an appointment with Dr Haralson for removal of Teeth, so that I could have Implants or , Implanted Dentures put in Later.. Staff are Super Friendly. Dr Haralson has great Bed side Manner, I have put off having these teeth taken out for years because of Cost and Fear.. Was put at Ease. When they gave me the Final Price of Phase one, I about died at How low the cost was, I have been to other dentists over the years and NOTHING has come close to this price.. I have my surgery in a Few weeks, But wanted to write this Review hoping that others do not put off what I did for over 10 years.. I got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Haralson in July. I went in for a consultation 1 week before the surgery. He went over the procedure and took some X-rays. On the day of the removal, I went in at 8am. Dr. Haralson's assistants helped prepare by putting oxygen tube in the nose and blood pressure monitoring. Then Dr. Haralson came in and connect the IV tube to my arm. The process took about 45 mins. Afterwards I was dizzy, however I did not feel any pain. Later in the day, someone from the office called and checked up on me. Then a couple weeks later, I went in for a follow up. Very professional and highly recommend this surgeon for any oral surgery. read more

Never thought I'd be reviewing an Oral surgeon but the service, process, promptness and surgery was so impressive, they deserve the shout out. I recently got promoted and I had exactly four days between jobs. The oral surgeon my dentist had recommended for my wisdom tooth extraction was obviously already completely booked. I went through the entire MetLife and premera list of oral surgeons and I was so lucky that after 15 or 16 phone calls and bring rejected I finally found Dr David Harolson! Ella was so kind and courteous over the phone and in person. She understood the urgency of the situation and accommodated me for a consult on the same day I called and scheduled me for a surgery even before my consult and blocked the slot. THAT was impressive! The consult and surgery both were perfect. I didn't even realise when the surgery started or ended. In terms of swelling I have 2/10 and in terms of pain I'm probably 1.5/10. I even attended a party within 30 hours of the surgery. I didn't need any alcohol i was pretty high on all the pain killers ;) Thank you so much for accommodating me and taking such good care of me. Yesterday morning I got my wisdom teeth out. My face isn't swollen or bruised, nor am I in much pain. They gave me norco (like vicodin), ibprofuen, and amoxocillion (antibiotic)...I took the norco yesterday but haven't really needed it today. I didn't really need it yesterday. They called me yesterday a few hours after the surgery to make sure I was ok. I just remember him asking me what my dream was going to be...that is all I remember from the surgery! My arm doesn't even hurt and it isn't bruised from where they put the IV in (usually when I give blood, my arm gets bruised or sore the next day). i'm pretty impressed and I'd say that everyone who needs to get their wisdom teeth out should come here. Also, with my insurance, it was waaaaayyyyy cheaper than I thought it would be. Highly recommended! read more

Dr. Haralson took my wisdom teeth out close to two years ago now. Thw experience was fine, he made me feel very at ease and did a great job. My jaw healed properly and i have nothing at all negative to say about him as a sergeon. However, after months and months of phone calls and emails both to his office and my insurence company, I've yet to be reimbursed for the cost of surgery. My insurance provider tells me they never recieved paperwork, despite Dr. Haralson's office telling me they filed it more than once. I guess I should have been suspicious whe n I had to pay for the surgery myself up-front but having never had a surgery before, I just didn't know. So I'm still out about $3,000 and have pretty much given up at this point. It is possible that the fault lies with my insurance provider but I've never had any other problems with them. Don't pay until your insurance is billed. I feel cheated. read more

Wisdom teeth extraction and recovery went great but after care and billing was very lacking. When I left the nurse said that some one would call me about after care - no one did. However, someone in the office noted on my forms that a call had been made and a voicemail was left. They had my old number, which was out of service at the time so I don't understand how it was possible to leave a voice mail - I dialed in myself and checked. Also, they got the billing wrong TWICE, I only extracted two bottom wisdom teeth and the amount owed was paid in full on the day of the surgery. However, I received a claim in the mail for 4 wisdom teeth. So I emailed the office to have this corrected. Fast forward 6 month later, I get another bill asking for 500 dollars plus still owed for FOUR wisdom teeth extractions. Either I can go in and the office can x-ray me to see my remaining two wisdom teeth as evidence, or I should really sue this practice for extracting more teeth than I agreed to. With four impacted wisdom teeth, I was very reluctant to have the extraction process done. However, after a visit to Dr. Haralson, I was immediately put at ease. His calm, warm demeanor made me feel completely confident in him, and his staff was so friendly and patient answering my multitude of questions. Even the insurance/payment process was explained very thoroughly to me before any commitment. I went into my surgery with a complete understanding of what was to be done and what to expect afterwards. While I wouldn't WANT to go through a wisdom tooth extraction again (mostly because it meant I couldn't eat my favorite things for a few weeks), it doesn't get any smoother or more professional than Dr. Haralson and his staff.
