The inside was very clean and well organized. I stopped in with the intent to look for a quick lunch. It was great to find out that do weekday deals (Mon-Thurs) on ready to eat items like salad bar, sandwiches, soup, sushi. I also loved that they had easy meals to purchase and cook at home as well as a large selection of Sweet Ali's Baked Goods. I ended up getting their soup and fresh baked focaccia to take home. It travelled well and was delicious to enjoy! While I wouldn't do all my grocery shopping here, they have quite a few gems here to enjoy!

The store features other Health Products as well. We even got to meet Carole who was very sweet to talk to and was informing us about their Thanksgiving specials. Who knew that a Whole Foods on Kiddler Street would turn into a stealth Asian pantry goldmine?…read more I usually walk in into pricier grocery stores with a plan: meat, bread, home. But today, that plan was deliciously derailed. I had every intention of skipping the produce but ended up frozen in my tracks. There it was. Fresh coconut chunks. Whole tamarind pods, not paste but the real deal. Aloe. Yucca. Chinese melons. And even red-flesh dragon fruit. The kind that makes your smoothie look like it came from a fairy tale. Normally, I plan a separate pilgrimage to Jongboo, H Mart, or Seoul Market for these ingredients. Reviews for those are coming, I promise. But this was unexpected magic in a mainstream aisle. I have spent a lot of time in Asia for work and completely fell in love with the food. My husband and kids are on board, so our kitchen is a happy rotation of Korean BBQ, Japanese curry, Singapore noodles, and hot pot. And this Whole Foods just made that rotation easier. Bonus points for three kinds of figs and gorgeous flowers, both on sale. This location may say Whole Foods on the outside, but if you look close enough, it quietly says Asian market crossover on the inside. And for that, I am hooked.

Judy saved the day by giving me some of her organic vinegar and ginger drink. I felt immediately better! I went on to browse/peruse the wares and brochures....I picked out organic lavender soap made entirely of essential oils and lavender buds. I also picked out a soap sack made of soft fibers. The soap worked really well, my skin is moisturized much better than regular soap and the soap sack feels better than those plastic loofahs I was using. I went back a few weeks later to get more of the vinegar and ginger energy drink, more soap and I got a potato & cranberry doggie treat for my mom's dog. The treat was a big hit! The dog did not put it down until it was gone and it left her with sweet cranberry and clove breath. I will definitely be a regular here!
