So here's a neat addition to the waterfront, an artist marketplace. To me, it's another sign that at least during the summer, there is a place for something made by hand, by someone who is passionate about their skill, their craft, and they want others to enjoy (and potentially purchase it). I didn't know much about it, and I still don't, but inside the building next to an antique shop, is an open space with tables, and artist works. It's kinda like a flea market, but with things that are actually nice. I can't say there the value is good, bad, otherwise... to be fair, these artists are pricing their wares based on what they think they are worth, and honestly, because they are such good things, the fact these will be conversation pieces, means maybe you might value these much more than retail value. I like what this place might become, and I encourage you to come down, and support these artists.

New spot on the waterfront across from the Seattle Great wheel. The space is still developing but has an amazing mural created by local Seattle favorite Henry. space has an assortment of local crafts & one of a kind finds. Friday/ Sat night market The owners are awesome and dedicated to creating a space for the community which is accessible to artists and creatives of from different backgrounds & are happy to show you something cool. Great prices for one of a kind items and the whole space is curated to give a real taste of seattle.

Built on the edge of a steep hill overlooking Elliott Bay and Puget Sound, Pike Public Market is known as the "soul of the city." Here locals have shopped since 1907 for fresh produce from hundreds of farmers, artisans, and specialty vendors, and it is proud to promote the fact that almost half of its businesses are female-owned. Since our hotel was within walking distance, my partner, his family, our friends, and I visited this most popular tourist attraction with more than 20 million annual visitors several times. It can get a bit overwhelming, especially with the large crowds and the maze of shops. It is definitely worth a look.

Seafood vendors galore all who are selling some of the freshest and largest pieces of seafood I've seen, floral vendors galore all who are selling the most beautifully full and beautifully arranged flower bouquets and food galore from vendors of all kind offering ethnic delights, local seafood and local favorites. The views of the market itself from the street and the views of the water from inside the market are breathtaking as well. Oh and we stumbled upon the "gum wall" ... even though I took a pic of it it's absolutely GROSS lol. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because it's wildly confusing to navigate and the maps don't help at all lol. So glad we got to experience the market!

I loved seeing such a wide variety because everyone in our group was able to find something they genuinely enjoyed despite our different tastes lol Personally, I ended up buying a Green Amethyst necklace from Sea Diamonds, a ring from another jewelry vendor, a chain and three charms from a vendor in the indoor section, and even a custom poem from an artist who was creating them on the spot with her typewriter! That was definitely one of the most unique things I came across. As for food, I got to try the Crab Mac & Cheese from Sam's Crab Mac & Cheese and was completely sold after the sample bite (highly recommend!!). I also enjoyed a Mangonada from one of the Mexican food vendors, and the Watermelon Sour Cotton Candy from CottonMouth Confections, which was another standout and definitely worth trying!! Overall, if you want to fully explore everything the market has to offer, I'd recommend setting aside a few hours.

The market moves under the bridge during the winter and I can't speak to that experience but I love it when the sun's out on Sundays in Fremont!

If you enjoy the food there may take a bit longer. The Santa is in the house for kid and family photos. There is a cover warehouse for dining area. For the cold day, it is a good feature. There is a time to time bubble snow in the center of the market. For the food I like the Parmesan noodle that hot scrap and mixed in the spot. I also like the skew bbq meat. There are plenty of food vendors. That includes the hot chocolate, chimney cake, molding chocolate, Asian food, kabab and more. The decorations all over the market. Plenty of photo spot. The night ticket is more expensive than the day ticket. For this cold day, I prefer the daytime visit.

It made me feel like next year I will probably have a Europe Chridtmas holiday again.

I accompanied my friend here who lives in nearby First Hill, so it constitutes the surrounding area mentioned but is all the more welcomed now as aside from the QFC in the area, there are few options for food shopping. My friend picked up some fresh radishes, mushrooms and tasty homemade hummus from the various vendors in attendance. We also got a veggie panini from a griller vendor at the market. Overall, the market is on the small side focusing primarily on produce over products and other miscellaneous sometimes seen at the larger ones. This is kind of nice as there is a lower amount of foot traffic, but the options are more limited. Decent Farmers Market though if you have a fairly small list of things, you need without wandering too much.

Only good thing I found at this farmers market.
