Pike Place is a massive food hall, craft market, and farmers' market. You can find just about anything in Pike Place. It is truly an amazingly magical spot, and there is nothing quite like it. You could spend days roaming through Pike Place and eating all of the amazing things each vendor, restaurant, and bakery has to offer. It's a Yelpers paradise! The selection is unmatched. The value is great. The service is prime. I think you could easily stay within a $100 budget for a family and feed everyone for the whole day in Pike Place Market. A day at Pike Place is not a day wasted, and no matter how many times you've been, you're sure to find something new.

Seattle's world-famous Pike Place Market is one of the Emerald City's most popular tourist traps,…read moreand for good reason. The sprawling, multi-level marketplace dates back to 1907 and remains one of the oldest, continually operating farmers markets in America. It's narrow arcades are home to dozens of stalls selling everything from candy and cannolis to flowers and jewelry. The main attraction, of course, is the fresh seafood, which arrives every morning from boats trolling nearby Puget Sound. At peak hours, hundreds of tourists crowd around the Pike Place Fish Market, near Pike Place's main entrance, to watch fishmongers toss Salmon, Halibut, Cod and other customer selections from the market floor to the sales counter to be filleted and wrapped. Onlookers clap and cheer as the fish fly through the air, while the mongers politely remind the crowd that they're operating a working seafood market, not a circus. When you're done watching dudes toss fish, take some an hour or two to explore the rest of this massive marketplace. Pike Place has six levels of shops, restaurants, brewpubs and produce stalls across two large buildings that are bisected by a roomy pedestrian plaza with outdoor tables for enjoying a bite when the weather cooperates. The market gets oppressively crowded on weekends, so go early if you can. There are multiple parking decks at the complex and near the waterfront, but if Uber is an option, you'll save the stress of finding a spot. No visit to Seattle is complete without a visit to Pike Place Market. Plan on spending half a day here if you want the full experience, but I found a couple hours to be enough for me. While you're in the area, walk a couple blocks over to Seattle's fabulous waterfront and stroll the pedestrian plaza for some amazing views of Puget Sound. The city's new Overlook Walk pedestrian bridge lets you move between the two without crossing busy Alaskan Way, and makes this area of downtown an incredible destination for tourists and locals alike.

I loved seeing such a wide variety because everyone in our group was able to find something they genuinely enjoyed despite our different tastes lol Personally, I ended up buying a Green Amethyst necklace from Sea Diamonds, a ring from another jewelry vendor, a chain and three charms from a vendor in the indoor section, and even a custom poem from an artist who was creating them on the spot with her typewriter! That was definitely one of the most unique things I came across. As for food, I got to try the Crab Mac & Cheese from Sam's Crab Mac & Cheese and was completely sold after the sample bite (highly recommend!!). I also enjoyed a Mangonada from one of the Mexican food vendors, and the Watermelon Sour Cotton Candy from CottonMouth Confections, which was another standout and definitely worth trying!! Overall, if you want to fully explore everything the market has to offer, I'd recommend setting aside a few hours.

If you enjoy the food there may take a bit longer. The Santa is in the house for kid and family photos. There is a cover warehouse for dining area. For the cold day, it is a good feature. There is a time to time bubble snow in the center of the market. For the food I like the Parmesan noodle that hot scrap and mixed in the spot. I also like the skew bbq meat. There are plenty of food vendors. That includes the hot chocolate, chimney cake, molding chocolate, Asian food, kabab and more. The decorations all over the market. Plenty of photo spot. The night ticket is more expensive than the day ticket. For this cold day, I prefer the daytime visit.

My favorite time to visit is June-September. The folks of Capitol Hill get to pick their favorite fruits and veggies with their reusable bags in tow. The flowers and produce are vibrant and bountiful. It's good warm energy. I usually get here right when they open because there are minimal lines and I get the best picks of merch and snacks. I also get longer 1:1 time connecting with vendors. They're pretty friendly and they enjoy chatting about their products. I accompanied my friend here who lives in nearby First Hill, so it constitutes the surrounding area mentioned but is all the more welcomed now as aside from the QFC in the area, there are few options for food shopping. My friend picked up some fresh radishes, mushrooms and tasty homemade hummus from the various vendors in attendance. We also got a veggie panini from a griller vendor at the market. Overall, the market is on the small side focusing primarily on produce over products and other miscellaneous sometimes seen at the larger ones. This is kind of nice as there is a lower amount of foot traffic, but the options are more limited. Decent Farmers Market though if you have a fairly small list of things, you need without wandering too much.

Not only does this flagrantly violate our local noise ordinances, but it's literally so loud that song lyrics can be clearly heard through closed double paned windows from multiple blocks away. Numerous requests from local residents to turn the music down to a more reasonable level have been ignored. I guess the people who run this don't care that they are ruining the lives of the thousands of people who live nearby, but if you care at all about walkable urban neighborhoods, the businesses complicit in destroying them in pursuit of a quick buck don't deserve your patronage.

As soon as I heard that, I wanted it. It was like adding a tap to a watermelon it tasted so good! This was a smaller market with an okay amount of vendors but just two rows to stroll through.
